My First Doll Rescue~ Part 1
So, today me and my mom were out doing errands and all of a sudden she said, “I have a feeling to go to the Thrift Store.” and I said, “Oh, my gosh, can we go?!” And we stopped off at the Thrift Store!!
We looked through all of the bins and I found a few dolls (not AG). One was an adorable Precious Moments Doll, but I decided not to get her because she would end up just sitting on a shelf and would never get attention. And then I found a Disney Animator’s Collection Rapunzel Toddler Doll! I kinda wanted to get her, but she wasn’t really calling to me. Then I found an 18″ Madame Alexander Doll. She was only $4.99 and I really wanted to rescue her. So when I was checking out the total ended up being $2.70!!! It turns out that all yellow tags were 50% OFF!!
I feel so bad for this doll. She’s definitely “A bit of a fixer-upper” ( 😉 )!
She has big round marks on each of her cheeks. It looks like highlighter to me.
Her hair isn’t in the best condition, but it’s not too bad.
The shirt she’s wearing is from American Girl! Anyone know what outfit this is from?
On a couple of her finger nails there’s what also seems to be pink highlighter.
I took a picture of her Style#. Do any of you know which doll this is?
I’m really excited to have my first doll rescue and to fix her up! I hope I can get her looking nice and pretty again. Well’p, it’s time for me to get to work! 😀

My American Girl Shopping List For May
So, I will be going to the AG Store again in May with my friend Emma for her birthday shopping spree and I have been trying to figure out what I’m going to buy. I finally got it all planned out and I thought it’d be fun to show you my shopping list!
Weekend Fun Outfit- $30
Easy Breezy Outfit- $28
Rainy Day Coat- $24
Plaid Party Dress- $30
And last, but not least-
The MAG with Layered black-brown hair and brown eyes!!! I decided it would be cheaper to get a doll that looks very similar to Jess, than finding a Jess online somewhere. Now, you’re all probably wondering what I’m going to name her, well I am naming her…….
ARWEN!! I’m not exactly naming her after Arwen in LOTR, but just because I think it really suits her. 🙂 I’m not sure what her middle name will be just yet, any suggestions?
So, my total is $222.00 (plus I should try to have a little extra 😉 )!!! I hope I can do it!

You Know You’re Obsessed With Dolls When…
So, I was at Disneyland today and I saw a little girl (when we were in line for a ride) holding an AG doll. We walked by quickly, but I’m pretty 100% sure that she was carrying this doll:
And she was wearing the Casual Chic Outfit 🙂
So, anyways, my main point is that, you know you’re obsessed with dolls when you’re on a ride that you could possibly get wet on and you tell your mom, “Oh, my gosh, I hope that American Girl doll is okay!” 😀
Do you ever have moments like that?

Kristoff’s Sad Day
Ever since Kristoff came to live with us he has been missing Sven (his reindeer) so much. Just before I adopted him, Sven was taken away. We didn’t know where, but I found out that the orphanage sold him. I have been doing all I can to get him back, but it’s been very hard. And today, Kristoff was feeling very upset….
Kristoff walked into the bedroom with his head hanging down.
Cecile noticed that he looked very sad, so she asked, “Kristoff, are you okay?”
Kristoff moved closer to where Cecile was sitting, with his head still hanging down. “You’re missing Sven, aren’t you?” Cecile asked sympathetically. Kristoff turned his eyes away and nodded his head.
“I miss him a whole lot. Sven and me have always been together. I don’t think I’ll ever see him again.” Kristoff said sadly.
Overhearing the conversation, Lissie went over to Kristoff and placed her hand on his shoulder. “I know you miss, Sven, Kristoff, but you can’t give up hope! Mommy is trying to get him back for you still, so you just may see him again. And just think, Sven wouldn’t want you feeling sad because he’s not here with you. He would want you to be having fun and enjoying your days.” Felicity said kindly. She was always good at making people feel better.
“What’s wrong?” I asked as I walked in the room. “I miss Sven.” Kristoff replied.
“Oh, I see. Why don’t you go in the stables and visit with the horses? I know it will make you feel better.” I said with a smile.
Kristoff looked at Penny and sighed, “This isn’t making me feel better. It makes me miss him even more.” Kristoff was just about to turn around and go inside when he saw something…
It was a little fluffy tail! Kristoff got a little curious, so he walked over to the next stall.
“Sven! Sven! Sven! It’s you!!” Kristoff shouted happily.
Kristoff went in the stall to pet him when Sven tackled him to the ground! Sven was just as happy to see Kristoff as Kristoff was to see Sven! Kristoff laughed and laughed. “Sven, I missed you! I can’t believe you’re here!”
Now, I just have to make sure that Kristoff doesn’t share any carrots with Sven 🙂

“Cuties, I’m Gonna Keep You!”

So, who is this little cutie?
“It’s me, Kristoff!” He says. Of course it is!!
I ordered Kristoff about a week ago and he just came in the mail today! Can I just say that I am dying over his cuteness??
Look at that sweet little face!! I love his freckles 🙂
His mittens are so adorable!
And I LOVE his boots!! “Or the pear-shaped, square-shaped weirdness of his feet?” 😛
And the rest of his outfit is absolutely adorable!!
One of my favorite things about him is that he is a little taller than Anna! I love how realistic that is 🙂

I’m sure you’re all wondering how old I’m going to make him be. Well, I have decided to make him be 7 years old. I think that’s a good age for him 😉
