I know it’s late, but it is NEVER too late to update the “Meet My Dolls” page! That’s right, I just added Jess and you can go “meet” her now by clicking HERE!
I hope you like her! 😀
Hey everyone! Before we start the photostory I have to let you know something:
When my dolls go to Camp Doll Diaries they aren’t gonna be my “kids” that are going, but they will all be from different families and will be friends 🙂
Now that I’ve given you that piece of information, let’s get on with the story!
“Clara! Clara! Clara!!” Rebecca screamed as she came bursting through the bedroom door.
“Now that you’ve scared me half to death, what is it?” Clara asked with a smile, but still trying to catch her breath. She was very startled.
“Look! We got a postcard and it says that Camp Doll Diaries will be starting on June 2nd!!” Rebecca said.
“That’s super soon and this year you can come with me because now you’re old enough! Isn’t that exciting? We’ll have so much fun together!!” Rebecca said excitedly.
“Oh, yeah, that’s real exciting.” Clara said as she turned her head away.
“Clara? What’s wrong? I thought you’d be sooo excited! You were really sad when you couldn’t go last year.” Rebecca said, feeling confused.
Clara got up from her desk and walked over to the vanity. “I know, Becca, it’s just that…. Well, I think I’ll stay here again. It really wasn’t so bad last year.” Clara said sadly.
“Clara, you said you were super lonely and bored with me gone all summer. Now, what’s really wrong?” Rebecca asked.
“I know what I said last year, and it was true. I really was sad, but now that I’m old enough and now that it’s here-” Clara paused for a moment. She was ashamed to say how she felt because Rebecca was so outgoing and brave. Clara really looked up to her. Finally, somehow she managed to get out the words, “The truth is, Rebecca, I’m scared! I’m not going to know anyone or how to do anything! I’m the type of girl who’d like to stay inside and read a book or watch movies! I just don’t think I could handle it.” Clara cried.
“Oh, Clara! I understand how you feel. I felt the same way when I first went to camp. But I promise you that you’ll be just fine! You’re going to love camp and make lots of new friends! And if you want, you could spend all of your time in the crafting cabin or sitting on your bed reading a book. No matter what you choose to do, I know you’ll have the time of your life!” Rebecca explained.
“Thanks, Rebecca! I guess I’ll go, but I probably won’t stop being scared until after the first day of camp.” Clara said with a little smile. She was still very nervous, but if what her sister said was true, she thought she might as well give it a try.
Today, my mom and I did some crafting! We had SO much fun making these things for Camp Doll Diaries!
Have you started preparing for Camp? Do you have a “child” who’s as scared as Clara?
So, on the day I got Clara I went over my friend Emma’s house so we could play with our new dolls and stuff. While I was there I took some pictures of Clara and of Emma’s dolls!
Isn’t she SOO adorable in this outfit?!
Clara is just too CUTE!
She’s “Queen” of the Rock! LOL 😛
“I know you don’t like walking on rocks, but this is a cute picture spot, Clara!” 🙂
My friend, Emma had enough money to buy 2 dolls! She got MAG #33 who she named Sloane and she also got Isabelle! Oh, my, I love Isabelle 🙂
Striking a silly pose 😛
Clara and Isabelle pose for a picture, too 🙂
Best friends forever <3

“This is my boy doll Jerry packing for Camp Doll Diaries (he’ll be in Cabin Trailblazers). He is actually a porcelain collectible doll, but because of extenuating circumstances, he is a part of my play doll family. My apologies for the grainy picture–I had issues with my camera, so this was taken with an iPod.” Submitted by Molly W.
“Here’s my doll, Lexi! She’s JLY #2 I believe. I got her off of Ebay so I am just guessing lol” Submitted by Muffy
“Saige, or should I say “Susan”, is excited for the next part of her photo story series- Runaway- where she plays the star.” Submitted by Emma
Thank you all for sending in these awesome pictures!! I enjoyed every single one of them! 🙂
If you’d like to participate in next week’s Tell Us Tuesday, here’s how it works:
You send in a picture of your doll(s) (the most you can send is three pictures) through my Contact Form with a description. Please remember to attach the image(s)! Also, your images must be 2MB or smaller (please not too small, though) otherwise the Contact Form will not allow you to send in pictures 😉
I hope you all have a great day! 🙂
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the awesome moms out there! I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating your mom today 🙂
My mom is so amazing! She has always been there for us and always finds a way to make things happen. She is so funny, smart, nice, talented, caring, creative, a great cook, and just plain AWESOME! Thank you for everything you do, mommy! I love you SOOO MUCH!! <3
I’m so sorry I haven’t posted for a while, but things have been pretty crazy over here. Anyways, yesterday I went with my friend Emma to the AG Store for her birthday shopping spree and we had a ton of fun! 😀 I didn’t take a lot of pictures at the AG store and I still have to do some editing to them, so I’m gonna share this photoshoot with you 😉
First off, let’s take a look at the title, “Beautiful girl with the curls” is what my daddy has always called me. And since I’m using a curly haired doll, I thought I’d use that for the title 🙂
EEEEEEEEKKKK!!!! I tricked you, didn’t I? I had just enough money to buy Clara (MAG #21) thanks to, Emma who gave me a few extra dollars to cover the tax. She said it’s my belated birthday gift because she really wanted me to be able to get her. You’re so awesome, Emma! 😀
I also got the Weekend Fun Outfit and the Casual Chic Outfit! SO glad that the sale was in stores, too!
Exploring the backyard…
OMGOSH!! She is just SOO adorable!! I think one of the main things I love about her is how unique she is! No MAG doll comes with her hair in a style, has pincurls, and she is one of a few other MAG’s who doesn’t have feathered eyebrows.
Clara LOVES this outfit!
Sweet little Clara <3
And here’s a little extra collage I did of Clara 🙂
I’m sure you are all wondering what Clara is like, so here’s just a basic description of her:
Clara is 10 years old and she is very sensitive. She has a low blood pressure, so if she gets scared she is most likely to faint. Clara didn’t know her parents, but she’s lived with her aunt all her life who just passed away. My local orphanage contacted me and asked if I was interested in her. So, I went down and met her and talked with her. Then I knew she just had to come live with me 🙂
Stay tuned for more fun pictures coming tomorrow!
P.S. I just can NOT stop taking pictures of her! She is just TOO cute! 😀
