We ran all through the night, and by morning we had reached an old beach. Katrina plopped herself on the sand, I almost thought she had fainted, but I realized she was just faking. I understood her being exhausted from running all that time, though. We only took a few breaks. We didn’t have any water, food, or sleep. Boy, I sure could use some sleep.
“We’ll have to take a long way back so we can get to the airport. We don’t want to go back the same way we came. I don’t want to risk running into that person.” Monica spoke quietly. I knew she was worried and probably just as tired as all of us.
“I wonder who that person was.” I wondered as we both stared at the ocean. Then from behind us, we heard a voice say, “Are you lost?”
“Oh, well, it just didn’t seem like you all meant to be here. You aren’t exactly dressed for the beach.” The woman pointed out. She was right. I was wearing cowboy boots and Katrina was wearing a dress. That’s not exactly how you dress at a beach.
“No, you’re right. I don’t look dressed for this weather, to you, but for me, I’m dressed perfectly. It’s very cold where I come from, so this weather feels great to me.” The woman explained.
“What is your name?” Monica asked the lady. “Corinne.” She replied. “Well, Corinne, we’d better be going. Thank you for checking in on us.” Monica said, and began to walk away.
We hesitantly followed Monica. Something didn’t feel right about Corinne and I wanted to find out more about her!
“Halt!” Corinne shouted. We all quickly spun around to see her pointing a gun. Katrina immediately whimpered and put her hands in the air. “What do you think you’re doing?” Monica asked and began walking slowly up to her.
“Don’t worry. I just need to ask you a few questions.” Corinne explained.
“I’m the one who was following you, Detective. I heard something about a case. What case is it?” Corinne asked forcefully.
“A top secret case. People are disappearing.” Monica said while looking all around her to be sure nobody else could hear. Corinne lowered her gun. “The disappearing heirs?” She asked, but I knew she already knew the answer.
“Yes. How do you know about this? Are you a detective as well?” Monica asked through whispers. “No, I’m not a detective. I know because, I used to help with capturing the heirs.” Corinne explained hesitantly.
“This is all part of his plan then, isn’t it? You’re trying to stall us so he can get a head start on making his next move!” Monica said that last sentence a little too loudly and quickly looked around to see if anyone heard. She was really lucky.
“No, not at all. I’m done helping him. I want to help you now. Will you trust me?” Corinne asked hopefully. I trusted her, but would Monica?
“That newborn princess was made up by me to throw you guys off. If you really want to get him, then we need to go to Manhattan.” Corinne stated. Monica sighed and said, “Very well. I said I would trust you, so it looks like I’m going to have to keep my word.”
That ends part 4! The next part will be coming soon! 😀
I know a lot of you are getting older. And I know that with growing older, for most people, that means they stop playing with their dolls. I’m turning 16 next month, and I do admit that for a while now, I haven’t really been playing with my dolls. My new way of playing with them is through my blog. By taking photoshoots, or making up stories with them. It is really sad how when you start growing up, you grow out of your toys, too. I still love my Little People, and My Little Ponies, and Barbies, and all of it, but I rarely get them out to play with them anymore. Maybe only a couple times a year for my Barbies, and once every few years for my Little People and My Little Ponies. 🙁
The other day, my mom sent me this and I just thought it was so good! It gave me inspiration and literally made me want to start playing!
Let this be an inspiration to all of you, to keep playing and to keep loving your toys and dolls no matter what! And always remember Toy Story – our toys are always there for us 🙂
And as I’ve always said, just because the world around you thinks that once you reach a certain age you have to stop playing, doesn’t mean you have to follow them! Don’t be a follower, be a leader. Lead other kids around you to continue loving and playing with their toys! 😀
I really hope that if you have been struggling with playing with your dolls, that this helped you! 🙂
Have a great day!
– And the other way! We got there at a good time! It was so neat to be around so many doll lovers and see girls with their dolls. I like never see that anywhere, so that was just really neat to see! 🙂
Me and Emma! YAY! Unfortunately, we can’t post pictures with Ginger Spice, because she wants to remain a secret identity 😉 As you can see, Emma is much taller than I am, even though I’m older LOL! XD 😛
Here’s me trying to get a Grace doll LOL! That guy was putting some more Grace dolls in place, and when he noticed I wanted one, he handed one to me, and it was perfect!! That was literally the fastest experience of “choosing” a doll EVER!!
Me with Grace, and Emma digging through the others, trying to find the right one 🙂
We have our DOLLIES!!! LOL!
Here’s a side view of Grace in her City Outfit. I love how they styled her hair!!!
Oh. My. Goodness. This is like the most amazing thing EVER!!! The quality of her bakery is incredible!! It’s made of wood and the doors open and close nicely. There are so many adorable accessories that come with it (AG says it comes with over 60 accessories!!), and I love the refrigerator and oven and all the adorable foods!! I know practically everyone is saying that it’s way overpriced, but I really have to disagree. First of all, yes, it is AG, and AG has high prices- that’s totally normal, so I’m not really surprised by the price. Second, it’s made of wood- that adds to the price. Third, it has over 60 accessories!! And fourth, the detail on everything is AMAZING! It all looks so realistic!! So, yes, it is a high price, but honestly, if I had $500 to spare, I would buy it! I think it’s definitely worth the price! You don’t have to agree and it’s okay to disagree, cause everyone has their opinions, but I just wanted to get my opinion out there 🙂
Emma taking a picture LOL!
The cabinet is so adorable!!
The Baking Accessories are SO CUTE!! I LOVE the mixer and the tablet!! 😀
This outfit is so adorable!! It’s weird, because on every picture AG has (that I’ve seen) the cupcakes on the shirt are upside down, but they actually aren’t! I really don’t understand why their pictures are like that…
Me and Emma with the photo op! I think it’s the cutest little set up! 🙂
I really like her beret! If I continue to want one for my dolls, I’ll probably crochet one 🙂
I don’t really care for this outfit, but I’m sure a lot of girls do. I just love the hairstyle they did on her with that outfit!! Her hair looks so poofy! Though you can’t tell in this picture LOL 😛
Baking Outfit!! I just adore that apron! 😀
Here’s the full display 🙂
I am so in love with this outfit!! Pink looks SO good on her!! 😀
I love her Travel Coat!! I’m so happy I was able to get this! And also, gotta love the hairstyle 😛
Her pajamas are so stinkin’ cute!! And again, love the hairstyle!! LOLOL! Okay, I’ll stop saying that XD
I love this shot!! I had my mom taking pictures for me so that I could look around more easily, and she literally read my mind, cause right when I saw this display, I wanted the exact shot! 😀
Would you just die over this window display with me? I literally could have just stood and drooled over it all day! 😛 This is the best window display I have ever seen!!!
Then it was time to go home! And of course, I went back to Emma’s house afterwards so that we could play with our new dolls! What a fun day!!!! 😀
Did you go to the GOTY debut? Do you plan on getting Grace?
Oh, my goodness! It was SO much fun to introduce you to Grace in my photostory!! I hope you all enjoyed seeing her that way! 😀
Now, it is time for a photoshoot!! 😀
Yesterday, was SO much fun!! I just have to tell you the story of my getting Grace! 🙂
I have always wanted to go to a GOTY debut, and I had already seen tons of leaked pictures of Grace and her collection, I was just so in love with her that I knew she would be perfect for me to go to her debut! My mom also really wanted to take me, and we talked about would I not buy Grace that day and wait until my birthday, or would I buy her then? I had most of the money, so we decided that this would be my birthday trip and she would be my birthday doll 🙂 We also invited Emma and Ginger Spice, but neither one of them could come. So yesterday morning, when me and my mom were walking to our car, she walked past the car and said, “Let’s go this way.” In my head I’m like, “What is she doing?” But I followed and was greeted by Emma along with Ginger Spice!! Emma literally (well, okay not literally, but I was shaking from excitement!) almost gave me a heart attack!! She yelled, “JACLYNN!!!” And almost tackled me with a huge hug! They surprised me so good, I couldn’t even believe it! So yes, we had a TON of fun yesterday and I will be posting lots of pictures very soon! 😀
I have also renamed Grace, because I just didn’t like that name for her. 😉 So what did I name her?
I named her Riven-Delle!! She is named after a place in Lord of The Rings, called Rivendell, but I changed the spelling to make it look more like a name. Do you like the edit I did? 🙂
Okay, so enough of my rambling. On with the photoshoot! 😀
Riven-Delle has freckles that go all the way across her nose!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Her eyes are a beautiful shade of blue and she has feathered eyebrows, which are thicker than normal. Her cheeks are also more rosy than others 🙂
Look at all of the beautiful colors in her hair!!! Yes, all of these pictures are completely natural. No edits or filters! 🙂
I’m sure you can also see that I got her Travel Coat! It’s so adorable and I’m super happy with it! 😀
The right three buttons on the coat, actually button up, and it velcros where the bow is 🙂
These sweet grey boots are from her Meet Outfit. They’re very soft and are SUPER easy to slip on and off! Yep, no velcro, buttons, or zippers at all on these boots!
I love how her hair looks in this picture!
Wow, she is so photogenic!
Okay, so before I get started with this photostory I just have to say that I am DYING OVER GRACE!!! She’s GORGEOUS!! I’m SO excited to get her on my birthday!! 😀
Now, onto the photostory!
“Hi!” The customer, who was named Rose, replied.
Rose stepped out of the doorway and just stood for a minute.
“Can I help you find anything today?” The employee asked. “Oh, no, thank you. I’m just waiting for a friend.” Rose replied. After waiting a while longer she finally saw her friend step into the store.
“Hi, Rose!” Melody greeted.
“I’m sorry I’m a little late, but there was a ton of traffic on the way here.” Melody explained. “Oh, it’s okay! I had a little traffic, too.” Rose said with a smile.
“I seriously love your coat! Where did you get it?” Rose asked as she pointed to Melody’s coat.
Melody went through some capris. “Hmm… These are pretty cute.” Melody said thoughtfully.
“What do you think of this blazer, Melody?” Rose asked with a super cute striped blazer in her hand.
“Oooh! I love it! That would look so great on you!” Melody exclaimed.
“Yeah, you should definitely get it!” Melody said. “Hmm. Yeah, I think I will!” Rose said with a smile.
Rose wandered over to the shirt section.
Melody lifted up an adorable sweater. It was super soft and had a fair isle print on it. “Oh, my goodness! This is so me!” Melody exclaimed. She looked over the shirt to check if there were any snags or stains. “Okay, I’m getting it!” She said excitedly.
Melody took back her things and said with a giggle, “And I didn’t want to spend a lot of money today!”
After looking around the store some more, they were finally ready to check out.
“Did you want the hanger for this?” The lady at the register asked.
Soon it was Melody’s turn, so she plopped all of her clothes on the counter.
When Melody was done, she walked over to Rose. “So, how much-” Rose began, but Melody stopped her. “Don’t ask!” She said with a laugh, and Rose laughed, too. “Do you wanna get some lunch?” Rose asked. “Sure!” Melody replied.
So they walked out of the store and went down the street to eat at The Cheesecake Factory 🙂
Do your dolls like shopping?
A photoshoot will be coming later today!! 😀
P.S. Please keep checking back at Wack-A-Doodle-Dolls! She is posting at every hour today! 🙂
