Aquamarine~ A Photoshoot
So yesterday I was taking pictures for a photostory, but then I got interrupted and got totally out of the mood, so that didn’t end up happening, but I did finally change Caroline’s outfit!! Literally, you don’t even wanna know how long some of my dolls stay in the same outfit and hairstyle. We’re talking MONTHS! It is so sad! Caroline was still wearing the Elsa Frozen Fever Dress I made from when I first made it! Isn’t that awful? So I fell in love with Caroline again (does that ever happen to you? LOL!) and decided she needed a little photoshoot! 🙂
Caroline looks just beautiful in the Tropical Bloom outfit! The colors are great for her!
Her eyes and shirt are almost a perfect match in color! I was kinda dying at how amazing they went together. I was FaceTime-ing Emma when I changed her and every few minutes I’d pick up Caroline and say, “Oh my gosh! I just wanna take pics of her!” LOL!
Isn’t her hair so pretty? Even if it isn’t the same hair she had when I first got her, I think it’s still gorgeous! 🙂

Wow, these pictures are gorgeous! Yes, I am planning on getting Caroline this fall. But if she’s not around by then, I have my eye on a TM doll… so I’ll be happy either way. 🙂

If you want to get her and you’re able to…Get her! She is the MOST gorgeous doll I’ve seen! I know some AG fans think that she’s the same-old-same-old white, blonde doll, but she isn’t! HER EYES ARE THE MOST GORGEOUS THINGS YOU’VE EVER SEEN! Sorry if it sounds like I’m screaming. 😛
I love Caroline in her outfit. Her eyes are so pretty. I probably won’t get Caroline, but I do like her.
My dolls maybe stay in the same outfit for 1-2 weeks, it depends on how much I’m into dolls then.

Well, hopefully the next part will be up within the next week or two. Emma has to use two of my dolls for the next part and we haven’t seen each other in almost a month, so we should be getting together soon! 🙂

So cute! I have Caroline (finally!) and she is staying in her outfit for now because she has nothing to change into! I’m not getting any of her outfits (can’t afford them right now – saving for Maryellen!) and I am going to sew her some historical clothing soon. 🙂
Do you know if you can recurl Caroline’s hair? If so, could you make a video of it? Right now I’m sorta scared of messing up her hair and try not to touch it…

Well, I really messed up Caroline’s hair (Yeah, I couldn’t manage it *nervous giggle*), so what I do to curl her hair is the same thing I do with Saige. If you go in my search bar and type “How to curl Saige’s hair”, the video tutorial I did will come up. Only now, I never use water on her hair. I’ve learned my lesson with that 😛 But also you could try using curlers! I’m sure that gives her some beautiful curls! 😀

Thanks! I experimented on Samantha (sorta curly, but when I got her from my sister she didn’t really have curls..) and the curls with water looked smaller so I ditched the water and now I have brushed out Caroline’s hair and recurled it and I’m getting the hang of it! I guess curly hair comes tangled? It needed a lot of brushing in order to recurl it.

I don’t find it too hard to believe that Caroline is retiring. I think moms are daunted by her hair, (lol) and she is from a period that not a lot of people know about.

Oh, by the way, yes, sometimes my dolls do stay in the same outfit for months. My Felicity was wearing a sweatshirt outfit for months before I finally changed her clothes…. 😉 Glad to see I’m not the only one who does that, LOL! 😀

That color is perfect on her! Oh my goodness, I got that outfit for Christmas, and it’s just the best, isn’t it? 🙂 I’m especially in love with the shoes. Yeah, it’s funny how her hair doesn’t look much like it used to, but it’s still absolutely gorgeous!
I never leave a doll in an outfit for that long, but it’s more understandable for you since you have so many. 😉

I have 12 dolls (only 5 of them are actually AG, but the other ones live with them anyways), and I usually try to have their outfits and hairstyles every month, and before my friend comes over, to impress her 😀
And I usually have to re-clean the doll house every month, too, because I’m always messing it up. 😉

Sometimes when I’m Facetiming/talking to my friends then I’ll be combing my doll’s hair or something, and they’ll just be freaked out by all my dolls since I have so many.
“Ack I’m surrounded!”
“Calm down Possumgirl (that’s her nickname)”
“But they’re staring at me!”
“And your Felicity doll doesn’t?”
“Well….she’s in storage right now….”
“You put your DOLL in storage?”
“You know I don’t play with her!”
“Sigh.”
And then Possum’s sister makes the doll jump on Possum. -_-
My non-doll liking friends react interestingly to my dolls.

My dolls are in the same outfit for a while sometimes. Shayne, Natalie and Chental are still in their Easter outfits! I think Caroline looks great! I need to get mine a new head or wig, because mine is all frizzy. 🙁 I’m so sad she’s retiring!

How do you take such good care of her hair.
Well, I actually totally ruined her hair, so we had to wash it and now she doesn’t have the curls she should have. It’s like she has a totally different wig in a way LOL! But I never use water on her hair anymore and I just brush it and style it. It’s really simple now 🙂
