Bedding Problems
So, yesterday afternoon I started thinking about Samantha and how amazing it will be to finally have her. But then I thought, “Oh, no! Where is she gonna sleep?!”
I went in my room, grabbed a paper and pen and starting drawing out the two bunk beds and writing down where everyone slept. Uh-oh. There was no more room on either bunks!! I grabbed all of my dolls (okay, well, not all at the same time, LOL!) and put them in bed. I started thinking of ways I could re-arrange, but I couldn’t figure it out! My heart was pounding and I was out of breath (literally!). I was REALLY stressing out!
Then I FINALLY got it!! Above is a picture of all my bed plans. I had to draw stuff out 4 times! LOL!
Now I have space for 2 more dolls (if I get 2 more, which I probably will, hehe!)!! Whew! I am SO relieved that’s over. π
Have you ever had trouble figuring out where your dolls would sleep? Did you stress out like I did?

Note: My writing is very sloppy in those drawings. I was writing really fast and wasn’t worrying about making it look nice. Sorry π
I know right? It’s always hard when a new doll comes to the house and you don’t have room for them! When Isabelle came, I literally had to put poor Saige on the floor (Saige Bekah and Isabelle have been alternating ever since π ), there was no more room! So I am in search of a bed, maybe a loft bed on Ebay, for cheap, so everyone can sleep on a nice soft mattress π
Though, I haven’t totally stressed out over it yet, so it’s probably in my future (uh oh!)…

wow. i am kinda glad i don’t have that many dolls. i have just enough for me.:)
HA HA FIRSTIE! anyways… ya, it is so hard to get the space right for where my dolls sleep! I have a tiny amount of space in my room for my 5 dolls, so I rotate where they sleep… one doll gets to sleep on the bed at a time, the others sleep on my huge pile of stuffed animals! right now, my newest doll, saige, is sleeping on the bed ‘cuz she has a broken leg and I feel kinda bad cuz I always do bad things to my dolls. XD
Not really hehe…I just turn the boxes they come with upside down and use a tiny blanket, piece of fabric, or shirt for the sheets and blankets.
But I am GLAD you figured that out! I do stress out on where I am ever going to keep their clothes. I found a solution to that, though.
By the way…where do you keep their clothes? π
~Madison~
Oh, yeah, well that works I guess, if you don’t have 29 dolls and you have a lot of room, LOLOL! π π
Hehe! That used to be a problem for me, too π
You know those storage cubicals they sell at Target? I have one of those, so that’s where all of their clothes are π
~Jaclynn~
u don’t have 29 dolls, do you?
Yeah, but they’re not all AG. I play with my Disney toddler dolls as if they’re my kids and then I have 3 baby dolls that I use that way as well π
~Jaclynn~
Dude! That is alot! No wonder u have bedding problems:) It must be alot of fun, though! hehe so how much are the disney toddlers? I really want the frozen one!
LOLOL! Yep, it sure is! π
I think they’re like $24.95 or something like that π
~Jaclynn~
LOL! π π
Oh, ok! Wow, smart! π
~Madison~ π
29!!!!! That a TON!!!!!!!!!
I’m so glad you could make room!:) I’ve had to rearrange my doll beds a thousand times, lol!:) I’ve calculated that if I squeezed in as many as possible, I could fit 17 dolls, or 20 if 3 sat in chairs. I’m willing to take up all that space, but even my mom (who usually is fine with my dolls) thinks I’m crazy!XD I have one bed on top of their closet (which is 2 dolls wide if you squeeze them), one bed at the bottom of an old tea trolley (which is slightly wider), and four beds on some shelves (3 dolls wide at the most), and if I had to, I think I could make another 2-doll bed under them, because there’s a little space on top of a box. I WOULD have space for 18 dolls that way, but because of Anna and Sarah (my two 23″ My Twinn dolls), one of the beds that could take 3 18″ dolls will have to take just the two of them.:)
Oh wow. That IS very stressful! π
My last doll is going to be Isabelle…when will you stop getting dolls!
Indeed, it is! π
Hmmm… Never!! LOLOLOL! I’ll probably still be buying dolls when I’m 45! π

Oh my gosh, we don’t care about your handwriting!! When you’re in a panic you write fast, therefore causing your handwriting to look sloppy! I know this because I have my Masters Degree in Panicing. π
On my first comment I meant the last sentence to have a question mark! My bad!
?
I couldn’t see the plans very well. My Dad just ordered me an AG bunk bed on eBay and the bed’s gonna come in a week or so! I’m so excited!:D
Hahah-I totally understand what you are going through! I just yesterday rearranged my doll’s bedroom to fit Rachel, my Karito Kid Chinese doll. It worked!!!! Yay! It’s actually very pretty and oriental. I might send you pics, or send them to Liz to post some Friday. I made some origami to hang, hung some beads, made a chinese banner-ish thing, her pillow is a big panda bear stuffed animal. I made a canopy bed out of a AG box. Now I’m about to go redo Cecile’s and Kit’s space! hehe
My dolls all sleep in chairs, beds made out of boxes, and on the floor. XD
I have far too little bed space for all my dolls. Dolls double up, but that still leaves 4 dolls without beds. π I do have a sleeping bag, though. Oh well. They don’t all have to go to bed at the same time. You can do that when your children aren’t real. π

I think I am done getting dolls now. I’m at 11, and there are any right now that I really, really want. But if this changes, I might not be done. It would be nice to have an even number π Saige is very cute, but probably very expensive now, and I do have felicity, who looks like her.

I totally get what you mean. I want everything in my doll world to be perfect and I freak out if everything isn’t exactly in its place… haha π

I just put all my dolls on shelfs over my bed but I have 1 ag bed….I wish I had a space to make room but when you have 10 dolls and your sister has 9 and my toy room is full it’s a little hard!
So me and my twin sister Jordan had four dolls Samantha, Nellie, kit and ruthie. In the doll house that my dad build us, there were two bedrooms, that fit two dolls each. When we got Elizabeth (felicitys friend) I freaked out.,finally I decided to clear out the a attic of our dollhouse, and put a makeshift bed there for Lizzie to sleep in!
I don’t worry. I may have only six dolls but trust me its that easy. Just take some exta bedding from around the house fold it into the right size for as many dolls you need & make sure that on the top to have it folded over on the dolls for a blanket. put some pillows on it & there you have it. BYE
