Bubble Wrap!
One afternoon, Kirsten stretched herself on the floor in the kitchen to continue reading her book.
“Kirsten! Kirsten!” Eli yelled as he rushed into the kitchen. He instantly plopped himself on the floor beside his sister and said, “Look what I got!”
Kirsten slammed her book shut and stared excitedly at what Eli had placed on the floor. “Bubble wrap!!” She exclaimed.
“Yeah! And mom said we could have it and pop as many bubbles as we want!” Eli shouted.
Kirsten got up and said, “Well, let’s get started on popping those bubbles!”
They sat on the couch so they would be more comfortable while they popped all of those bubbles. *POP! POP!* Kirsten popped two bubbles.
Eli leaned over and said, as he reached for the bubble wrap, “Okay, my turn now!”
“Eli! We said four bubbles per turn! I let you pop an extra one on your last turn, and I’ve only popped two. It’s still my turn!” Kirsten protested.
“What are you two doing?” Jenna asked. Kirsten and Eli hadn’t even noticed she was sitting there!
“We’re popping some bubble wrap!” Kirsten said with a smile. “Oh, I’ve never done that before.” Jenna said.
Kirsten did a very dramatic gasp, her mouth and eyes slowly widening.
“YOU’VE NEVER POPPED BUBBLE WRAP?!” Eli and Kirsten yelled in unison.
“Okay, give it to her! She HAS to experience this!” Eli demanded. “You’re right!” Kirsten agreed and handed her the sheet of bubble wrap.
Eli and Kirsten watched anxiously as Jenna held up the bubble wrap. They couldn’t wait for her to pop a bubble!
Then there was a *POP!* and then a *SNAP!*
Jenna slowly turned her head towards her siblings, her smile widening. “Okay, that is really fun!” Jenna exclaimed.
“YES! She likes it!” Eli yelled, raising his hand in the air.
So they spent a while taking turns popping bubbles together until there were none left 🙂

Oh I really like to stomp on bubble wrap and pop it! LOL! I don’t really do it that much, but it is just a fun mindless activity! 😀

My grandma loved bubble wrap, one year for Christmas I bought her a whole roll of it so she could pop to her hearts content! There is something therapeutic and soothing about it LOL

That looks so fun! I love to pop bubble wrap, but not those huge “pillows” of air that sometimes come in packages. My little brother likes to hide those in my bed so that when I put my head on my pillow, they pop (and almost blast my eardrum apart!) But it’s all in fun. 😉

Bubble wrap is the best thing ever invented! 😛 I saw a bubble wrap phone case that can always be repopped. So cool! That story was adorable!!! 🙂 Mostly because of the bubble wrap…;)

Hahahahahaha! Yes, bubble wrap IS fun.:-D I like to stomp on it best, and I had little friend when I was about six years old who had a”bubble wrap dance” she would dance as she stomped ot all the bubbles. Lol!

You know H4H dolls? Well, today we just ordered Shola and I’m so darn excited and she’s getting here on Friday! We’re going to re-name her Malaila and have her be a Muslim Pashtun from Pakistan, like Malala Yousafzai, who is her hero. 🙂 Shola is supposed to be a Muslim Pashtun from Afghanistan, so not to a big stretch because she is still a Muslim Pashtun, just a different country, and they’re all over Pakistan and Afghanistan.
And then I emailed my friend about it (she’s your age) and she never plays with her dolls anymore but she has Felicity, and anyways she said she has H4H Rahel (which I never knew about. Weird) and she didn’t know I was interested in H4H but I could have Rahel, so if my mom gives the ok I’m going to get Rahel on Saturday!!!!!!
What a weekend! And we just got Bella for Christmas, and are going to get Josefina in March or April, and Kit or Grace later this year! *goes into seventh level of happiness*
Claire waas catching up on your blog (she isn’t allowed to comment) and she was reading the post where I was commenting on how many new dolls you had gotten, and she said “Kathleen, we are getting almost as many dolls this year!” She was very excited, haha. 😉

I LOVE bubble wrap! It’s a activity that’s not really a activity! I have to agree it’s pretty addicting! I gasped right along with Eli and Kirsten when Jenna said she’s never popped bible wrap before! Who has not! I wouldn’t want it for my present though!

I LOVE to pop bubble wrap! On Christmas, my Grandpa got some of that bubble wrap with REALLY HUGE bubbles, and he let me and my brother pop all of them. 😀
