My American Girl Photo Album

When we purchased from American Girl in December we got a coupon for a FREE Shutterfly Photo book in an American Girl Design!! My mom just finished it last night and placed the order! And guess what?? I get to let you see my photo book (digital of course ;) )!!! Be sure you click on the link below to see it larger otherwise you won't be able to read it. And then on that site (don't worry, there's nothing bad on there) click "View photo book" and then click to see it full screen. That is when you'll be able to read it :)

Tell me what you think! 😀

I LOVE the pink with the white polka dots!!! Oh, gosh. I think I’m going to be buying this on my birthday! 😀

What do you think of this new set? Will you be purchasing it?

Sneak Peek!

AAAH!! I can’t contain my excitement anymore!!!! I have a photostory series (YAY!) all planned out and I just have to give you a sneak peek!! 😀

image

Here are 2 of the costumes! The one on the right is the main character. Can you guess who both of them are? Any ideas on what the series will be about??

I’m not sure when I will be starting it, but it will definitely be soon! I’m SO excited!!! 😀

P.S. You can’t tell in the picture, but the white part of the outfit on the left is sparkly! Also, I’m not adding any tags to this post because then that would give it all away 😉

I Discovered Something Interesting!!

Today I wanted to get out my sister’s AG Doll Bin and just look through her stuff. Whenever I get it out I always look at her old catalog.

image

This is a picture of the front of the catalog. It’s the 1998 Holiday Catalog!

image

Who is that? Could it be? Yes, it’s Felicity’s horse, Penny in the Girl of Today section!!

She was called “American Girl Horse”. In this catalog Felicity doesn’t even have Penny or any stable-ish things, just her riding outfits.
I think it is SO weird and kinda cheap of AG to use an old Girl of Today Horse to be Penny. Why don’t they just make a brand new one?
Just in case you wanna know, here’s what it says about her:
“What a beauty! Braid her thick brown mane and tail, and stroke her velvety coat. Then position the royal blue saddle blanket and leather saddle, adjust the stirrups, take up the reins, and you’re off! Don’t forget to give her the name you’ve always dreamed of for a horse of your own.”
She sold for $58.

I just looked at a catalog that has “Penny” in it. Here’s something else interesting:

She is still called “American Girl Horse” and was sold for $75.
The description says:
“This beautiful horse looks just like Penny! Includes attached reins, a royal blue saddle blanket, and a faux leather saddle.”

This is all just so weird.. and can you believe how much they raised the price of her?? It’s ridiculous!

What are your thoughts about this?

Craft Day :)

Hi girls!
I had SO much fun today! I was crafting since the early morning until 3:00 in the afternoon! It felt so good, too because I used my creativity and imagination for a few of the projects- which I hardly do :)

image

This is a picture of what our kitchen table pretty much looked like all day! Fun, huh? Hehe! 😀

By the materials pictured above- what do you think I made? There will be a fun new post tomorrow with a few of the crafts I made! :)

Do you ever have long craft days? Does your table ever look as messy as this?
Goodnight! :)

Happy 4th of July!!

Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you all had a great day! :)

image

Rebecca- “Hello everybody! Happy 4th of July! I had a nice day today- our entire family went swimming and we had relay races, regular races, and played other fun games! And mommy even made me a special outfit to wear!” 😀

image

Here are the sandals that I made this morning for Rebecca. I think the red button gives a cute extra *pop* :)

image

I crocheted this Halter Top and a pair of Shorts for Rebecca to wear, as well.

image

When I saw how the outfit was coming together- I just had to make a headband to match!

image

I also made her an American Flag to hold! I’ll be showing you how to make  one soon :)

Behind the Scenes pic!

My mom secretly took this picture of me setting up Rebecca. There was a breeze so I was trying to keep her from falling over 😛

Well, that’s all for now! Rebecca and I hope you all had a wonderful day!

What did you do to celebrate?

My Cabin!

Ok, now I am not one to start doing a big cleaning job on my room at 2:00PM, but I was so excited about making the cabin, and the camp that I cleaned my room and made my cabin!!

image

Here’s a picture of the “relaxing corner.” Here the girls can watch TV, play checkers, or just chat!

image

And of course- the bunk beds! Luckily I didn’t have to set this up because it’s my dolls regualr bed. LOL! But I did have to straighten it up a bit 😉

Well, there you are! Those are 2 basic pictures of my cabin! I couldn’t get a good full shot so, sorry about that!

I’m so excited about camp and so are my girls! But they’re a little nervous about staying away from home.
How do your girls feel about it? Are they nervous, too? Or are they all around excited? 😀

AG Store!

Sorry! This isn’t a post of me at the AG store- hehe 😛
Ok, I have been working for HOURS to set up an American Girl store in my room. Should it take hours? Should it be exhausting? Answer= NO! But it just is! I know it will be worth it when I finish but it just takes SO LONG! This is what I am doing:
Sorting through 4 little bins- meaning taking out everything AG and not AG and making piles of what belongs with what.
Then I have to make more piles of what clothes belong to who.
Next I have to dress all of my dolls in their “Meet Outfits” and do their hair in the “Meet Hairstyle”.

After all that- it’s time to set up! I have to find a spot for every single thing and organize everything into sections. Yes, I’m organized (when I play, lol!) and very realistic too so everything has to be just right.  Plus I have a small room with a lot of stuff in it so that makes setting up even harder! LOL!

Here’s a picture of my bedroom floor right now:

image

Crazy, huh? And that’s not even everything showing! LOL!
So that little spot on the floor that’s empty- that’s where I’m sitting!
And I had Barbies out so that’s why there’s a barbie box right there- I had to dig through becuase I accidentally putpair of AG tights in there- oops!
So, anyways that’s my room right now and have to pick it up tonight because I’m going to Disneyland tomorrow- LOL! Guess I’ll have to continue preparing to play AG store on Saturday!
Hope you liked my little Behind- the- Scenes pic! 😀
