Hi everyone! Recently I was going through some old pictures I took from like 2009-ish, and I thought it would be fun to show you all 🙂
First off, this is a picture of all my stuffed animals (at that time) set up on my floor as Spirit preached to them about the Prodigal Son. I called it Beanie Church 😉 Oh, and you see that little white goat down there that’s tied up? Yeah… He’s bad so he had to be tied up to keep him from going crazy. Kinda funny that his name is Fred the Friendly Goat, isn’t it? XD
I took this photo of Beth around Christmas time. I think she looks so precious 🙂
O_O Did that really used to be all I had? I can’t even remember what that was like! XD Oh, just an FYI for those who don’t know, but Addy and Josefina are my sister’s dolls 😉
I played Little House on The Prairie/country a LOT when I was little. Here we have Felicity and Addy doing some mending 😉

This was another time when I was playing “real life”. Felicity, Addy, and Caleb are all playing with cars on this mat I had, while Kirsten, Kendra, and Josefina play with their dolls 🙂

Riven-Delle’s Welcome~ Part 2
I’m so sorry I haven’t posted this sooner! I really don’t know why I haven’t 😛
Riven-Delle sighed as she looked away from all of the folders and papers on the desk. She had offered to clean it up, but her mind was very distracted.
Rebecca walked by and noticed that Riven-Delle seemed a little sad. “Hey, Delle! Is everything okay?” She asked her sister.
Riven-Delle was startled out of her thoughts. “Oh, yeah, I’m okay. I was just thinking.” She replied.
Rebecca walked over to her sister and placed her hand on her shoulder. “Delle, I’ve been here for almost four years and I’ve gotten a lot of new brothers and sisters since then. I know when something’s bothering somebody.” She said kindly.
Riven-Delle sighed. “Oui, you’re right. It’s Josefina.”
“Oh, I see. She’s making you feel unwelcome and like you just want to leave, right?” Rebecca asked.
Riven-Delle jumped out of her seat. “Exactly! How did you know?” She wondered.
Rebecca walked closer to her and said, “Because I went through the same thing. Josefina was really mean to me when I arrived. She actually made me cry and made me wish I’d never come here. But then I’d think of how nice everybody else is and it helped keep me going. Finally I talked to Lissie about it and she helped out a lot.”
Josefina was just about to enter the room, but she heard Riven-Delle and Rebecca talking, and decided to hide behind the curtain and listen.
“How long did she act that way to you? I’ve been here for almost two weeks now and she’s still being mean and saying horrible things.” Riven-Delle stated.
“I don’t remember exactly. But don’t worry, she’s usually this way to everyone. She’ll realize how she’s being soon and apologize. I guarantee it.” Rebecca said with a comforting smile.
Then Josefina walked up to them. “Riven-Delle, I’m really sorry.” She said sadly.
“I’ve been really mean to you, and it’s not right.” She continued.
“Oui, you have.” Riven-Delle said.
“Josefina, do you really mean that?” Rebecca asked in surprise.
“Yeah, I do.” Josefina replied.
“I understand if you don’t want to forgive me. I’ve said some unforgivable things to you, but really, I don’t hate your language, I think it’s really cool! I was just jealous cause you can speak your language so well, and I can only say a few words of mine. And I don’t think your coat is ugly, or think that Paris is dumb. It was all just jealousy. And I was annoyed that you came so soon after Jenna, I didn’t think it was fair to her. So I just want you to know, that I am really, really, sorry.” Josefina apologized sincerely.
Rebecca was so happy to hear that Josefina was apologizing! In her heart, she knew that she and Riven-Delle would get along great after this.
Riven-Delle walked up to Josefina and gave her a big hug. “Of course I forgive you, Josefina!”

Riven-Delle’s Welcome~ Part 1
Yes, I know it’s been a while since I got Riven-Delle, but I wanted to show you all what happened the day she arrived 🙂
Josefina let out a long sigh. “I can’t believe we’re already getting another sister!! Jenna just arrived! That isn’t fair to her!” Josefina complained.
“I know, this is really soon, but mommy said that this girl really needed help. The orphanage called and asked if mommy would take her in.” Annika explained.
“Yes, that’s true. Although I feel a little bit awkward about getting another sister so soon, I’m trying to stay positive.” Jenna said, who always liked to be positive and look on the bright side.
“You should feel awkward! I bet you’re not even used to all of us yet, and just a week later you have to welcome a new sister.” Josefina said. She was always annoyed to get a new brother or sister and truly believed that I should not adopt anymore.
“Don’t listen to her, Jenna. Mommy loves us all so much, and we all love each other, too.” Annika said with a smile.
“Here she comes…” Josefina said with a sigh.
“Girls, this is your new sister, Riven-Delle. I’ll be right back. I think I heard Caleb and Kendra yelling, so I’m assuming they’re fighting, but this is a good opportunity for you to get to know one another.” I said, smiling, and hurried off to check on the twins.
“Bonjour!” Riven-Delle said excitedly. She was so happy to see such nice looking girls her own age, and she loved knowing that she belonged to a family once again.
“Hi! My name is Annika. Did you have a nice trip here?” Annika inquired.
“Oui!” Riven-Delle replied.
“Do you speak any English?” Josefina asked, feeling annoyed.
“Oh, yes, sorry. I lived in Paris my entire life, so I’m still getting used to using the English words more often.” Riven-Delle explained through her French accent.
“Well, could you get used to it a little more quickly so I know what you’re saying?” Josefina asked. “Josefina!” Annika shouted, knowing her sister’s temper.
Riven-Delle didn’t know what to say to that, so she just stared at her with confusion.
“Don’t worry about using your French here, Riven-Delle. I think it would be neat to hear some more! Maybe you could even teach us!” Annika encouraged and Riven-Delle smiled.
“Yeah, that would be so much fun!” Jenna exclaimed.
“Oh, my! Your accent – is it Irish?” Riven-Delle asked, fascinated by Jenna’s accent.
“Yeah, it is! Your coat is so amazing! It’s so fashionable! Samantha will love it, too!” Jenna poured out her compliments.
“In fact, let’s show her right now!” Jenna said and began dragging her away. “Oh, okay! I’ll talk to you two later! Au Revoir!” Riven-Delle said as she slowly disappeared into the bedroom.
Annika giggled and Josefina smirked.
“Well, she seems nice!” Annika said. “She uses her French too much. She’s just trying to show off.” Josefina stated.
“I don’t think she’s showing off at all! She’s from Paris, so she’s used to using French.” Annika said.
Josefina thought for a minute and then said, “Hm. Well, we’ll just have to wait and see…”

Shopping Day!
Okay, so before I get started with this photostory I just have to say that I am DYING OVER GRACE!!! She’s GORGEOUS!! I’m SO excited to get her on my birthday!! 😀
Now, onto the photostory!
“Hi! Welcome to A Girl’s World!” One of the employees greeted as a customer walked through the door.
“Hi!” The customer, who was named Rose, replied.
Rose stepped out of the doorway and just stood for a minute.
“Can I help you find anything today?” The employee asked. “Oh, no, thank you. I’m just waiting for a friend.” Rose replied. After waiting a while longer she finally saw her friend step into the store.
“Hi, Rose!” Melody greeted.
“I’m sorry I’m a little late, but there was a ton of traffic on the way here.” Melody explained. “Oh, it’s okay! I had a little traffic, too.” Rose said with a smile.
“I seriously love your coat! Where did you get it?” Rose asked as she pointed to Melody’s coat.
“Oh, thanks! I got it the week before I left for Paris. This is my favorite coat ever!” Melody said.
After talking a bit longer, they decided to get to shopping.
Melody went through some capris. “Hmm… These are pretty cute.” Melody said thoughtfully.
“What do you think of this blazer, Melody?” Rose asked with a super cute striped blazer in her hand.
“Oooh! I love it! That would look so great on you!” Melody exclaimed.
“You really think so?” Rose questioned.
“Yeah, you should definitely get it!” Melody said. “Hmm. Yeah, I think I will!” Rose said with a smile.
Rose wandered over to the shirt section.
“Do you think this is cute?” Rose asked for Melody’s opinion once again. “Yeah, I think so!” Melody replied.
Melody gasped. “Could you hold these for me? I have to look at this shirt!” Melody asked. “Oh, okay!” Rose said.
Melody lifted up an adorable sweater. It was super soft and had a fair isle print on it. “Oh, my goodness! This is so me!” Melody exclaimed. She looked over the shirt to check if there were any snags or stains. “Okay, I’m getting it!” She said excitedly.
Melody took back her things and said with a giggle, “And I didn’t want to spend a lot of money today!”
After looking around the store some more, they were finally ready to check out.
“Did you want the hanger for this?” The lady at the register asked.
“No, thank you.” Rose replied.
“Alright, your total is $175. Will that be cash or card?” The lady asked. “That will be card.” Rose said and handed the lady her debit card.
Soon it was Melody’s turn, so she plopped all of her clothes on the counter.
The lady was about to put the dress in a bag, but Melody said, “Oh, could you please put that in a separate bag? I don’t want it to get squished.”
When Melody was done, she walked over to Rose. “So, how much-” Rose began, but Melody stopped her. “Don’t ask!” She said with a laugh, and Rose laughed, too. “Do you wanna get some lunch?” Rose asked. “Sure!” Melody replied.
So they walked out of the store and went down the street to eat at The Cheesecake Factory 🙂

Up At The Crack Of Dawn~ A Mini Photostory
Kaya got out of bed early in the morning, just as she always did, but once again she saw Jenna was up before her.
Jenna was just starting to brush her out. “Ouch!” She whispered as she brushed through a knot.
“Good monring, Jenna. What are you doing up so early again? Are you not sleeping well?” Kaya asked in a soft whisper. It was very early in the morning and she didn’t want to wake anybody up. “Oh, good morning, Kaya! I’ve been sleepin’ fine. The reason I’ve been getting up so early is because back at the orphanage in Ireland, they would have us get up very early to do our chores. It’s just a habit for me.” Jenna replied in her thick Irish accent.
“What about you? Do you always get up this early, too?” Jenna asked.
“Yes. Where I come from, I had to get up early, too.” Kaya replied.
“Well, I’m gonna go check on the horses now.” Kaya said.
“Alrighty then! I’ll just continue doin’ me hair.” Jenna put her hand over her mouth and giggled as she realized that she had spoken a little too loudly. 🙂
So, the last gift I got were the Petals and Plaid PJ’s for Jenna! They’re so adorable!!! 😀
The shirt is so cute and I love how it looks like she’s wearing a tank top under it, but she really isn’t 🙂
The pants have a super cute print and are so silky! I also love the slippers!! The fur around the edge is just adorable!! They are super easy to get on, too! 🙂
I rate this outfit a 10 out of 10! Jenna looks SO cute in these PJ’s and I’m so glad I got them for her! 😀

Christmas Eve Decorating!
Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!! Oh, my gosh, can you even believe that tomorrow is Christmas?! I definitely can’t! It seems like it came up way too quickly, and yet it also feels like it’s taken forever to get here LOL! 😛
Today, Annika, Cecile, and Kiara did some Christmas decorating 🙂
“Oooh! I’m so excited to decorate with you guys!” Kiara exclaimed.
Cecile took out a bag and opened it up.
“Look at all the decorations!! I had forgotten about some of them!” Cecile said excitedly.
I then set the tree in place and said, “What do you all think of decorating the tree first?” Annika and Cecile giggled because they had forgotten how large the tree was in comparison to them. “Wow. That’s HUGE! But it’s SOO pretty!” Kiara said, staring wide eyed at the tree.
Annika loves Christmas trees, so she got started right away on fluffing up the branches.
Kiara had joined her, but Cecile walked over, holding up the tree skirt. “Hey, what about the tree skirt?” Cecile asked. She loved putting the tree skirt on!
“That comes after we fix up the branches, Cece, but you can have the job of putting it on!” Kiara said with a smile.
“YAY! Thanks!” Cecile exclaimed.
Soon the branches on the tree were all fixed up, so Cecile crawled under the tree and fastened the tree skirt.
“Oooh! Does this go on the tree?” Kiara asked as she held up some pretty pink garland. “Yep! I love this garland so much! I’m so glad mommy bought it!” Annika said happily.
I trimmed the top of the tree with the garland, and once I had finished, Kiara began working near the bottom. “Now it’s time for the ornaments!” Annika exclaimed.
Kiara picked out a pretty blue ornament and placed it on the tree.
Annika picked out purple, since that was her second favorite color. 🙂
And Cecile grabbed a red one, to match her dress 😉
“Now it’s time for the candy canes!” Annika said, with a candy cane already in hand. Soon, all the decorating was done, but wait, there was still one thing missing…
Since Annika and Cecile had each placed the star on top before, they told Kiara to do it this year 🙂
Then they all stood back and gazed at the pretty tree.

Sugar and Spice
Caroline set a plate full of yummy candy on the kitchen table.
“Perfect!” Caroline exclaimed as she looked at the beautifully set table.
“Hey, Caroline! What’s all this?” Saige asked as she entered the kitchen.
“YAY! I told myself that the first one to enter the kitchen would get to help me, and it looks like you’re the winner!” Caroline said excitedly.
“To help you do what?” Saige asked, still confused.
Caroline grinned and said, “Do you wanna build a gingerbread house?” Saige laughed at her sister’s Frozen reference and said, “Okay!”
Just as Saige reached for a gumdrop Caroline yelled-
“WAIT! You have to put on an apron!” Saige was so startled that she jumped! “Why?” She asked breathlessly. “Because whenever you cook in the kitchen you should wear an apron! Plus, they’re just fun to wear.” Caroline smiled.
So, Saige grabbed the apron and tied it on.
“Now we’re ready to get started!” Caroline exclaimed.
Saige and Caroline worked for a long time on their gingerbread house until….
They were at their last two gumdrops, so they each put one on at the same time.
Then they stood back and admired their work. “It’s so beautiful! I’m glad I was the one who got to do this with you, Caroline. It was a lot of fun!” Saige said with a smile.
“It sure was!” Caroline smiled back.
I hope you enjoyed the story! My craft fair ended yesterday, so there will be a post up about that soon! 🙂

Sneaking Around
Oh, dear! What am I going to do with Anna and Merida? Yesterday they did something pretty sneaky….
“Are you sure it’s okay to be out here?” Anna asked. “Yeah! The door was open, so we came out! If you don’t wanna be out here, then go inside.” Merida replied.
Merida walked off and Anna stood there watching her.
“Well, the door was open…” Anna said to herself, then hurried to join her sister.
“You wanna climb this slide?” Merida asked excitedly.
“I don’t know… Prob’ly not.” Anna said, unsure if I would be okay with that.
Anna and Merida walked around the yard for awhile, then finally they stopped and just stood.
“Merida? Are you mad?” Anna asked, breaking the silence.
“Everything fun I wanna do, you’re saying no to.” Merida replied with a tone of annoyance.
“I like fun, but I don’t know if mama would want us to do those things.” Anna explained.
Merida hung her head down and didn’t say a word. “Merida?” Anna asked.
Merida swooshed her head away from her sister. “I’m sorry, Merida.” Anna said sweetly, but Merida didn’t move.
“Do you wanna play hide and seek?” Anna asked. Merida turned her head slightly with a little smirk.
“1….2….3….4….” Merida stood by a pole and counted to ten.
Anna found a place to hide and giggled. “She won’t find me here!” She thought.
“HERE I COME!” Merida yelled.
Merida walked around, then she tilted her head…
“FOUND YOU!!” Merida yelled from across the pool. Anna laughed and laughed.
Anna ran over to her sister, still laughing. “How’d you find me?” Anna asked. “I saw your hair!” Merida replied.
I realized that Anna and Merida were nowhere in the house, so I decided to look outside. “Anna, Merida, what are you doing out here?” I asked firmly.
Anna hung her head down and Merida stared to the side with a smirk.
“Anna, do you want to tell me what you’re doing out here?” I asked gently, but Anna shook her head “no”.
I sighed and looked over at Merida. “How about you tell me?” I asked. Merida’s smirk grew bigger, and I knew, by the look in her eyes, that I was in for a very dramatic (and not true) story…

Let’s Play Soccer!
Eli really wanted to go outside and play soccer, so he asked his sisters if they’d like to play, but only Kiara and Clara agreed.
“I don’t know how we’re gonna play soccer with only three people.” Eli said, feeling disappointed.
“Well maybe we can do it differently. Like how about two of us are playing against each other and one is the goalie, who tries to block the ball from whoever kicked it? And we can just keep taking turns!” Kiara suggested.
“That’s a great idea! We can use that fence for the goal!” Clara said excitedly.
“Hm, yeah, I guess that’ll work!” Eli said. He was starting to perk up now 🙂
Clara had the ball, and Kiara was running over to get it from her.
Oh no! Kiara got the ball!
Kiara got ready to kick the ball…
And it went flying!
Eli dodged to the floor, to try to grab it, but it went right past him!
“Whoo-hoo!” Kiara yelled excitedly.
“That was a nice shot!” Eli praised.
“Good kick!” Clara said, reaching her hand up for a high five. “Thanks!” Kiara replied.
They played for two hours straight and finally, they were sitting up against the rail, feeling really exhausted from all that play.
“You guys wanna go back inside now?” Kiara asked. “Yeah! And we can have some rainbow sherbet ice cream!” Eli said excitedly. Kiara and Clara chuckled, and they agreed that ice cream sounded delicious!

Caleb Plays With His Car
Today was finally pretty cold (and by that I mean like 65), so I let Kaya take Caleb in the backyard so he could play 🙂
“Alright, Caleb, you go on and play.” Kaya told her little brother.
Before Kaya had finished her sentence Caleb was already rolling his little police car all over the place!
“Uh oh!” Caleb said as his car went under the gate. He tried and tried to get it out, but he couldn’t reach it!
Kaya was looking around, just enjoying the cold air.
“Kaya!” Caleb called his sister. “What’s wrong, Caleb?” Kaya asked. “Help!” Caleb yelled.
“What is it?” Kaya asked once she reached her brother. “I can’t each (no, I left the r out on purpose 😉 )!” Caleb said as he pointed to his car.
Kaya giggled. “It’s okay! I’ll get it for you.”
Kaya stretched her arm under as far as she could, but she couldn’t reach it either.
“We’ll have to go on the other side. I’ll ask mama to unlock the gate.” Kaya explained as Caleb stared sadly at his car.
I opened the gate for them and Caleb instantly ran to his car. After a few minutes Kaya said, “Caleb, we should probably go back inside now. It’s getting colder and windier.”
Caleb looked up at his sister with a face that said, “No, I don’t want to!”
Before Kaya knew it, Caleb had picked up his car and moved to another spot to play. Boy he moved fast! “Caleb! Come on we have to go inside!” Kaya called.
Caleb stared back at his sister. “No, no!” He yelled.
“Caleb, come here.” Kaya said sternly.
Caleb plopped himself on the ground and crossed his arms. “No.” He said.
Kaya sighed and walked over to him. “Caleb, mommy told me to bring you inside once it started getting colder. We can come back out and play tomorrow, okay?” Kaya said sweetly.
Caleb looked away. “Okaaaayyy…” He said, disappointed.
Kaya took his hand gently and they went inside. Caleb ended up being happy to go inside because he got to watch VeggieTales and have a cookie 🙂
