MouseWait Craft Fair!
Hi girls!
Some of you may know that I have been preparing for a craft fair. Well it was on Saturday and it went great! I took some pictures of my table for you all to see 🙂
This is the whole table! It was an all Disney craft fair, so that’s why there isn’t any regular stuff 😉
Close up of all my dolls. Cecile (yes, I brought my brand new doll 😀 ) is dressed as Snow White, Kirsten as Cinderella, Marie-Grace as Cinderella in her Work Dress, Caroline as Rapunzel, and Saige as Minnie Mouse!
Mickey hats, Pumpkin Mickey hat, and of course- Minnie hats!

The other two Pirate Outfits! Also there is a sign that says: “Dolls are not for sale. Please do not touch the dolls” and another showing the pirate outfits modeled and my business cards! 🙂
I was very happy that I got enough money to pay for Cecile and my new business cards! And I’m also super excited because I got an order for a Cinderella outfit!! YAY!! 😀

EEK! I love it! Did you make any sales? No, I am going to knit and crochet purses (matching for girl and dolls), make doll clothing and stuff for next year or two years from now. I have noticed that my craft fair has had no doll booth for two years now!! So I’m going to bring it back!!

Well, the most important tips I can give you are these:
1. Be friendly whenever a customer comes to your booth. Talk to them, explain about your work, and answer questions as best as you can!
2. A pretty and nice set-up is very attractive and can make people come up to your booth. Make it look as nice as possible! 🙂

Oh! Here’s another tip:
Don’t under price your products, but don’t over price them either. Price them to what you think is fair to yourself and to your customers 😉

I love making American girl clothes. What stitch did you use for the skirt of the pumpkin Micky mouse dress!? Do you make up your own patterns. I make up my own for a lot of things! 🙂

I have been crocheting for 3-4 years, but I took a long break in there, if I would of been crocheting that whole time I would probably be faster, I crochet a lot more in the fall and winter! Something fun and old fashioned about it!! 🙂

Where I live it is cold, so on Saturday night we had a fire in the fireplace and watched a christmas movie and my mom and my best friend and myself all crocheted! it was so much fun!!! 🙂

Thanks! Yes, usually. The November and December craft fair is the best, though because everyone is shopping for Christmas. I think the most I made was about $200- maybe a little more! 😀

Well, I sew more than anything, I used to crochet, but it just seems that it takes a while to make things like dresses for your dolls, but when I’m sewing it’s alot faster, but it’s also easier to make mistakes. When did you make your first dress for your dolls? How did it turn out?

Hmm… I think it was last year that I made my first dress. It might have been the year before, but I’m not sure. Um- it’s alright, but I don’t want to make it again. It seems too plain and cheasy to me now. LOL! Especially with the outfits I’m currently making 😉

LOL! I get that. Like some of the things I’ve sewn for my dolls didn’t turn out that well. And I don’t want to put them on my dolls, or have them use it. But I’m proud of all the work that did turn out right, like a little dog bed I made with a mattress tutorial, and I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever made! And the way I made it, it could also be a pillow, like the kind you would put on a chair.
Yeah, especially compared to the things you’ve been making!

Saige is such a cute doll. 🙂 But yeah,m I probably can’t know how much I like her until I see better pictures of her. 😉 She is a fine doll, she doesn’t look bad, or anything close to that, but I wish she was more unique. Also, although she doesn’t have much in common at all with Marisol, I don’t like that they are both “dancers”. That makes them too similar of how I think of them.

Aw, poor Saige! But the main differance I saw was that the pictures were personal, so they didn’t look as good as AG’s who hires professional photographers. And her hair was in the hairnet. But at least we LOVE her now.
1. Well, differant computers are differant. I saw an Etsy banner once, and it looked blue on one computer, and mint on another. So I don’t know what color they are 😛
But if they’re blue, I probably won’t get her, she’ll look JUST like Abbie, and then if I got her, it would drive me crazy, and if it drove me crazy, I’d make them triplets instead of twins, and if I made them triplets instead of twins, then I’d have to make up this long, emotional parting story! LOLOLOL! 😛

Yeah, but they are too similar for me. I think they should have made a soccer player. That would have been better, I think. I think McKennna was unique, although her hair color is close to Emily’s. But that doesn’t matter much. Ane Isabelle DOES look a lot like Lanie, from what I can tell.

Yeah, Mckenna wasn’t very cute, however, I really like her collection. So that made up for her in some respects. But I guess you don’t care for gymnastics. 😉

Lanie’s eyes are green-ish and I think Isabelle’s eyes look blue-ish. And Isabelle definitely has longer hair 😉
