Hiii! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. There’s been so much going on, this is the first day I’ve stayed home in days! But, I’m here bringing you a new series on my blog! *celebrates*
After each GOTY doll retires, I will be showing you what I got from their collection. I’ll have to do a few this year since I have a few GOTY dolls, but I think it’ll be something fun to do and plus, it’s always fun knowing what people have in their doll collection, right? ;D
This is everything I got last year from Grace’s collection! Yep, it’s all clothes! While I did love her entire collection, I didn’t end up getting any of her accessories, which is totally fine! I loved her Baking Accesories, but maybe I can get them on eBay sometime
And (haha, I almost revealed her true identity to all of you XD ) here is JANE (yes, Jane… *smirk*) modeling Grace’s Opening Night Outfit! Again, I couldn’t find the headband, so that’s not shown either. UGH! I literally JUST saw it yesterday and now it’s gone! *sobs over the loss of the lovely headband* Anyways, this dress is gorgeous!! And those SHOES!!!
What did you get from Grace’s Collection?
Hi everyone! Now that I got three Rey orders shipped out, I have time to make a post for you all
That’s all for today! I’m off to- hm. I don’t know yet actually. I’m really tired, so maybe I’ll read or maybe once I wake up a bit I’ll start cleaning my room. But I also feel like writing… Oh well, I’ll figure it out!
Do you have any plans for the weekend?
Hi everyone! I’m so excited because it’s raining right now and it’s cold! I was just lying on the couch with a blanket and reading Lea Dives In – so far, it’s really good! It makes me kind of sad, though because of Lea and Zac’s relationship… Okay, let’s get back on track!
Today I thought I’d do a comparison of Lea and Rebecca. I didn’t realize how many similarities they had until I took them outside for some pictures. They would make some really great twins or even just sisters 😉
Aren’t they just adorable? So the first thing that’s the same about them, is that they both have the Josefina face mold. In my opinion, Lea’s face looks slightly chubbier and her lips also look bigger, but we’ll get into that later 😉
Here is Rebecca’s eye. She has a beautiful bright green hazel color with grey-ish brown and black stripes. Her eyebrows are basic.
This is Lea’s eye. They are a darker green than Rebecca’s and have lots more brown in them and she also has the black stripes. Lea also has a thick ring of black around her eye. Her eyebrows are thicker, similar to Grace’s and arched, which is new.
And finally, their hair! I had no idea that their hair color was so alike, and now I can definitely tell that Lea’s hair is brown. Lea’s hair goes down to her hips and is curly/wavy with light blonde and auburn highlights. Rebecca’s hair goes a little past her shoulders and is curly.
Even though they share the same color brown in their hair, I still have to say that Lea’s is slightly lighter than Rebecca’s which I believe is because of her light highlights.
So here’s a list telling how they are alike:
1. They both have brown hair, with Lea’s slightly lighter.
2. They both share the Josefina face mold.
3. They both have green hazel eyes, with Rebecca’s being much brighter.
As I stated earlier, I really think that Lea and Rebecca would make great sisters. Even though not everything is the same, they share many similarities
What are your thoughts on Lea and Rebecca? Do you think they look alike?
Hey everyone! So today it was kinda cool out and I decided to go out back and take some pictures of Julie who has been requiring some much needed attention 😉
I really love this picture for some reason! The angle and the lighting are just so cool in a way
Oh my gosh, Julie, you’re killing me! XD
I love this one cause her hair is blowing! 😀
*said in a super dramatic commercial voice* Thus ends this photoshoot entitled Ruby Red featuring the lovely model Julie Albright.
I don’t know where that came from… I’m so tired LOL! I hope you enjoyed the photoshoot! Be sure to let me know which one was your favorite, too!
Who would you like to see a photoshoot of next?
2 weeks after the proposal of marriage from the prince at my front door, I found myself walking in the palace, my palace gardens with a wedding ring around my finger. How was I supposed to refuse such a generous offer? All I had to do was marry him and my mother and I would be saved from poverty.
Any normal girl would feel delighted and honored above all to be a princess, but not me. I didn’t love the prince and, though I knew he was trying, the prince didn’t love me either. All I wanted was to return home with my mother and for everything to go back to the way it was before Frederic began to interfere with our lives. But at least my mother was taken care of. That was the important thing.
He motioned for me to come to him, so I did. “Are you alright, Liesel?” He inquired. I stared at him a moment. I could tell him that I was miserable and felt very alone, but I didn’t. Instead I simply said, “Yes.” Jeremiah raised his eyebrow with concern. “Somehow I feel like that isn’t true.” He said skeptically.
That concludes this installment of Masquerade! The next part will be up soon! 😀
I returned home from prison the day Frederic told me I was free to go. Although I was glad to be free, as I walked home I still felt like I was in a prison. All of my usual friends who would stop to at least say “Hello”, didn’t even give me a second glance. They walked right past me. They were shutting me out because they finally knew who I really was.
As I walked into my home, I saw a strange sight.
My mother wearing some old clothes, her hair up, and an apron around her waist. What was really strange though, was that she was looking sadly at a pile of her best dresses. “Mother?” I said to get her attention.
“Oh, Liesel! I’m so glad to see you. Are you alright?” Mother inquired, quickly looking over me, probably checking for any scratches or bruises.
“Yes, I’m fine. How and what are you doing?” I asked, glancing over her shoulder at the table.
Mother went back to her work and looked at me with sad eyes. “I’m sorry, Liesel, but I had to sell all your clothes and other belongings.” She apologized.
“You have no reason to be sorry. I’m the one who should be apologizing. It’s all my fault that everyone knows about Father.” I said full of guilt. “Oh, Liesel, don’t blame yourself. Your-” Mother was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door.
I stroked her purple striped dress and admired the embroidery done on it. I felt so awful that my mother had to give her lovely clothes away and I wondered if we would ever be fortunate enough to have such luxurious gowns again.
“Oh, my. I – I – forgive me, but I am afraid I couldn’t possibly allow my daughter to do that.” I heard my mother saying to whoever was at the door.
“Mother, what is it?” I inquired.
Mother politely excused herself and said in a whisper, “The prince is here. He heard about the debt we are in and said he has been in search of a wife, but can’t find the right one. He says his father has been pressing him about the matter and now the prince says he would marry you in order to please his father and save us from going into poverty.”
That concludes part 6!! Look for part 7 coming soon! 😀
I’m really sorry about all the photoshoots lately, but I am really planning to put the next part of Masquerade up tomorrow
Anyways, you might have heard that I won Maryellen’s Birthday Dress in Madison’s giveaway! Well, it arrived today and it is SO STINKIN’ GORGEOUS!!! Thanks so much again, Madi!! I love it SOOO much!!! 😀
On with the photoshoot!
Doesn’t her hair look amazing up against the green?! AAAAH!
I love how cute and simple the headband is! Of course there was a ginormous tag on it that had to be removed… Why AG? LOL!
The contrast of pink in this outfit is so pretty! The little rose adds just the perfect touch
Maryellen and I love this outfit to pieces and we recommend it 100%! I have no complaints about this outfit whatsoever! It’s gorgeous (as I’ve probably stated a gazillion times by now XD ) and is made of a great quality! I can see the Velcro snagging the dress, though, so I’d just be careful with that if I were you 😉
Thanks again, Madi! I can’t tell you how much I love this outfit!
Which picture was your favorite?
Hi there! How have you all been lately? I’ve been pretty good, but feeling kinda meh today, but I’m not gonna let that stop me from making a post for you
I took these pictures of Cecile a week or two ago and I just have to say, I love how they turned out! She looks so adorable 😀
Isn’t is so sad that Cecile is retired now? I mean, she is such a gorgeous doll
Just wondering, do any of your dolls have this weird eye problem? I think her eyes are too far back or something, cause there’s like some weird green plastic-y thing showing…
Well, that’s all for now! I’ll get another post up soon
What are your thoughts on Cecile? Do you wish she was still available?
Here’s a bonus picture!
I LOVE Maryellen’s hair!!! I know I’ve said it before, but it is seriously beautiful, so I just really had to do a photoshoot of Maryellen with her hair down Oh! The name of this photoshoot comes from a song in the movie Emma. Just in case you were wondering 😉
Her hair looks so golden!! AAH!!! 😀 <3
I think this might be my favorite picture!
I edited this picture so that all that was colored was her hair. I messed up a bit, though, but oh well!
In case you are wondering, I have not once touched her hair with a hairbrush. I only ever finger comb through it and kinda shape the hair with my fingers 😉
I don’t know why this picture has a black border… It happened after I added the bokeh 😛
So, it was a really short photoshoot, but there is a reason to that! It was super hot outside (like 102-ish) and it’s getting harder for me to take pictures because we unfortunately don’t have anything really pretty in our yard…. Hopefully I’ll start getting more creative and inspired soon
I hope you liked the pictures! I’ll try to get the next part of Masquerade up today or Friday 😀
What do you think of Maryellen’s hair?
The palace guards had caught me red-handed with the Rainbow Stone and dragged me down to their deepest dungeon. I was to stay there until further notice. I worried terribly about my mother who would wake up the next morning to find me missing and discovering that I had been sent to the dungeon in Ethenia.
I felt like I was awake all night, but knew it wasn’t so when I woke up to a gentle voice saying, “Liesel. Liesel!”
I opened my eyes and saw my mother standing on the other side of my cell wrapped in her golden shawl and carrying an old folded up blanket. “Are you alright, darling?” My mother inquired, her voice quavery.
“No, I’m not, but I am better now that you’re here. Mother, I’m so sorry about all – ” I began, but Mother interrupted me,
“It’s alright. Here, I brought you a blanket to keep yourself warm.” She said as she handed me the blanket through the cell bars.
“Thank you.” I said gratefully and wrapped it around my shoulders. “Mother, truly, I am so sorry. I should have told you about my meeting with Frederic, but I was scared. I thought I was doing the right thing by keeping our secret, but I ended up getting put in jail. I’m so sorry.” I apologized as a few tears entered my eyes.
Mother wrapped her hand around mine and said, “I know, dear. And it’s okay. We’re going to work this out.”
“Times up.” The jail guard said and mother looked back at him sadly.
“I have to go now, but don’t worry. I’ll be back soon. I promise.” Mother said sincerely. “Goodbye, Mother. And thank you.” I said and watched her go with an aching heart.
The next morning, I lay on the floor of my cell sobbing. I missed my mother, my home, and I absolutely hated being locked in the dungeon. I was beyond miserable and completely depressed.
I heard footsteps stop at my cell and looked up, expecting to see my mother, but instead was disgusted at the sight of my visitor. “What are you doing here?” I inquired angrily.
“I’m here to give you the good news. I’ve spoken with the king and he has agreed to let you go.” Frederic said with a broad smile that made me suspicious.
“Why are you smiling?” I asked suspiciously.
“Oh, maybe just because I know that you’ll end up poorer than a lowly servant before long.” He replied with a grin.
“What? What did you do?” I demanded of him.
His face grew serious. “You didn’t get me the Rainbow Stone and now you never will. Therefore, our deal has fallen through. I told several people back at your home kingdom the truth about your father and by now the word is spreading like wild fire. Before long, you and your mother will be in so much debt that you’ll be forced to sell your home and all your belongings. You’ll be living on the streets!” Frederic finished with a merry laugh.
I turned away and said, “No…”
Frederic began walking away, but he said over his shoulder, “You really should thank me. After all, I just gave you back your freedom!” He may have given me back my freedom, but now my life and reputation was destroyed.
To be continued in Part 6!! 😀
