Sunshine~ A Photoshoot
IM SO HAPPY TO BE POSTING RIGHT NOW!!!
Have ya’ll seen AG’s new release?! Oh my word I was dying so hard over all the new stuff!! Seeing the new dolls, outfits, etcetera, etcetera – really made me want to take photos of one of my dolls! And also go to the AG store and spend all the money that I don’t have. XD
I took photos of Marie-Grace because I asked Hershey (known to you as AGDA) who I should take pictures of and she suggested her, so here we are! XD
Hershey also helped me out cause it was super sunny in our backyard and she told me a couple things about photographing dolls in sunlight. And then I edited the pics cause the lighting was a bit whacky. ;D
Awwww, how cute is she?! *heart eyes*
*sings a weird song in my head about loving bokeh*
So those are all the pics I took! Not many, but it was hot and it’s kinda hard to take pics in sunlight, so… XD
Guyyyysss! I feel so inspired right now to make a photostory series but I lack a storyyyy!! I kinda have an idea of what kind of story I wanna make, but I have no story ideas. Oh well. I have time to think of something. 😉
Also, I’m currently on a break (sort of) from my phone right now (I say as I type this post on my phone LOL). My friends and I “hid” our distracting apps from us and are going the summer without using them! Except on special occasions XD
I feel like because of that, I’m going to be more inspired to post on here, so you might be seeing a return of JACLYNN THE DONUT LOVING CRAZY FANGIRL! XD
Ahem. Now then…. Talk to you soon, my friends! 😀
What do you think of AG’s new release? Would you like to see me do another photostory series? What type of stories interest you?
P.S. I have officially completed school!! I’m SO happy!! XD
Masquerade~ Part 8
Okay, everyone settle down so I can begin this post! XD
I bet you’re all super happy to see this, huh? I got a splurge of inspiration today and finally figured everything out for the rest of this story! I’m SO excited to get the rest of the story posted and I hope you’re all just as excited as I am! 😀
For the previous part, click here. I just wanna make sure you’re all caught up 😉
As I walked through the streets that warm summer day, I found myself lost in deep thought. Why did I ever leave? Yes, I was terrified, but couldn’t I at least have confessed? Couldn’t I have confided in her?
“Please don’t go, Edmund.” Her pleas rang clear as a bell in my mind. “I don’t want to, but I have to.” I had said. “But why? Can’t you just tell me?” She asked of me as tears filled her striking green eyes. “I can’t. I’m sorry.” Was my vague and ridiculous reply.
“Remember me.” She requested just before she turned to leave. I’ve always remembered you. But did she still remember me? Did she even spare the slightest thought for me, even after all these years of being apart?
I shook my head. There’s no way. But it was time for me to go back, time for me to face her and find out for sure.
“Good day, Edmund!” Nicole, a good friend of mine, greeted as she joined my pace.
“Hello, Nicole.” I greeted, forcing a smile. She was my friend, but I wanted to be alone for the moment.
“Is something wrong?” She inquired.
After what I had learned after leaving home all those years ago, I knew it was best for me to come clear. “I’m leaving, Nicole. It’s time for me to go home.” I admitted.
“And to see her again, right?” She asked with a knowing smile.
“It was wrong of me to leave her that way. It’s high time I face her and make up for my mistakes. I thought I could beat this on my own, but I realize I need her now more than ever.” I explained, my heart heavy.
“Well, I certainly wish you well, Edmund. Be safe.” Nicole bid with a friendly grin.
“Thank you. For everything.” Nicole had helped me through a lot these past years and I was eternally grateful to her.
Oooh! I wonder who Edmund could be….? ;D
I hope you liked this part! We’ll get to Liesel in the next installment 🙂
Masquerade~ Part 1
It was the biggest night of the entire year – the Duke and Duchess’ Annual Springtime Ball. I had not wished to go because I never did too well at large parties, balls, or anything such as that, but I knew I had to. If I hadn’t accepted the generous invitation – which was shocking I’d even received one – My family and I would have been completely disgraced. So at the ball, I did my best to engage with some of the other rich girls, but that didn’t go so well. I ended up listening more than talking.
As I was listening to the young ladies chat away, I had a strange feeling inside. Something wasn’t right.
I looked behind me and saw a young man watching the men and women dance away to the music.
Wait a second. I knew that face.
My heart was racing and I found it hard for me to breathe. “Calm. Stay calm.” I told myself.
“Please excuse me, ladies.” I said politely with a quick curtsy.
As I hurried toward the exit, someone tapped my shoulder.
“May I have this dance?” That horrid man inquired with a bow.
Knowing how improper it would be for me to refuse, I reluctantly said, “You may.”
We danced in silence for a moment. I didn’t dare speak or even look at him in the eye. I completely and utterly despised him.
“You know why I’m here, Liesel.” He whispered with a threatening tone.
“On the contrary, Frederic, I have no idea why you’re here.” I stated, still not even making eye contact.
“I need you to do something for me.” He began, his eyes squinted and cruel. He continued on to say, “And you will do it, because I’ve got a bit of leverage, which is something you’ll never have on me.”
“And what is that?” I questioned with disgust. “I knew your father. I know what he was and what he did. And I also know how you and your family have tried to hide it all your lives, but the truth has a way of coming out one way or another. Get me what I need, and I’ll keep your little secret.” Frederic offered. I was trying so hard to get the tears in my eyes to disappear. I knew that if I didn’t do what he wanted, he would expose the truth to everyone and our family would be shamed for eternity.
Anger and fear boiled up inside of me and I pushed myself away from him and fled from the palace, leaving Frederic standing alone with a scowl on his face.
That concludes part 1!!! 😀 😀
Day 13 & A Photoshoot of Marie-Grace
Day 13 – Meaning behind blog name:
Well, this is already explained, but I guess I’ll say it again ;D Around the time I started this blog I was pretty obsessed with Little House On The Prairie. I remember going over some names for my blog with my mom for a while and she suggested Little House of American Girl. Naturally I really liked it and it just made sense with my situation, too – I had a small bedroom with a lot of American Girl dolls! 😀
So, that’s the meaning behind my blog name! Here’s a few pictures since this post was so short and most all of you probably knew all that already LOL!
Oh. My. Gosh. This is my first photoshoot of Marie-Grace!!!
And let me just say that….
….she is SO PHOTOGENIC!!!!
I think this is my favorite picture! 😀
Aaaaaahhh….. She’s so pretty! I think I just found a new love in Marie-Grace! Not that I’ve never stopped loving her, but just that I’m realizing how pretty she is again – if you know what I mean ;D
I hope you enjoyed the photoshoot! I really just wanna take more pics, but it’s really hot outside (102!!) and when I was gonna go to another area in our yard I saw huge webs, so I decided to come in 😛
Oh! And I just wanted to give a little reminder that I posted the next part of Sadie’s Hope a couple days ago, so be sure to check that out! 🙂
Talk to you tomorrow!
What My Dolls Are Up To
Hey everyone! Yesterday I cleaned out under my bed (my doll’s bedroom) because I’ve been having a ton of baby spiders in my room lately (*shudders*) and the other day I noticed a few under there, so I freaked out… Anyways! Back to the subject of this post – I set up my dolls to where they’re all doing something and I thought it’d be fun to show you what they’re up to 🙂
So here’s the overview! Some of them are hiding behind the curtains, though LOL!
Over here, Dallas is getting Pepper out of his bed so he, Eli, and Jeremy can play with him. Rapunzel is asking if she can play with him, too and Lissie is trying to get a book, but Dallas is in the way. You can kinda see Clara back there just hanging out 🙂
Bella, Ellie, and Snow are being as sweet as can be playing with Licorice 🙂
Belinda is helping Cecile with some school.
And Merida wants Belinda for something…. Probably to help her climb something 😛
And of course Caleb and Kendra are fighting and screaming at the top of their lungs. Kristoff is trying to pull Caleb off of Kendra and Annika starts to intervene. Mickey and Minnie are sad and scared by their fighting as usual, too 😉
Kanani, Riven-Delle, and Annika had all been talking, but then stopped instantly when they noticed Caleb and Kendra fighting. Anna was gonna talk to Riven-Delle, but also stopped when she noticed the fight.
Janie looking over at Caleb and Kendra. They attract a lot of attention to themselves whenever they fight 😛
Julie, Kaya, and Samantha are talking 🙂
And oh, dear! Marie-Grace was talking to Saige (who is painting) when she was supposed to be practicing her singing, so Lana told her to stop talking to Saige, Marie-Grace got mad, and now Jess came over and is trying to tell Lana that it’s okay for Marie-Grace to talk to Saige. My goodness!
Josefina and Kirsten were about to bake and are now trying to persuade Rebecca into helping them, too. Addy was talking to Kirsten 🙂
Jenna doing some things at the vanity 🙂
And Kiara and Caroline are chatting 🙂
Do your dolls have a usual thing that happens every day? Like how Caleb and Kendra always fight? What do your dolls like to do?
The Disappearing Heirs Season 2~ The Crown Reclaimed: Part 2
We all walked outside and were met by Monica and Katrina. “Allie, Corinne! I expected you to be longer.” Monica said.
Katrina instantly walked over to the princesses and introduced herself.
Monica looked over us. “Where is he? Where’s your father?” She inquired.
“You knew he was my father?” I asked, raising my eyebrow and Corinne spoke up,
“He escaped.” She said simply.
Monica’s eyes widened and she sighed. “How did this happen?” She asked.
“We were about to come outside and suddenly he darted out the back door. I chased after him, but he was too quick. I’m sorry.” Corinne lied, but that isn’t what troubled me. I still had an unanswered question. “Monica!” I shouted and she turned quickly towards me. “You knew that he was my dad?” I asked again.
“Yes. I found out what he was looking for. I knew about the lost princess. And when you came into our hideout on that first day, I noticed your birthmark, and I knew that it was you. That’s why I was so adamant about you coming with us. I wanted to reunite father and daughter.” Monica explained.
I stood completely still with a serious look on my face. “Well, you did.” It was all I could say. I was angry that she hadn’t told me, and I lost him anyways, so her plan didn’t even work out well. I wondered if I would ever see him again…
The next part is coming in one hour so stay tuned! 🙂
The Disappearing Heirs~ Part 6
After thinking for a bit I ran after Corinne. “Hey, wait up!” I shouted and Corinne spun around to face me.
“Allie!” Corinne exclaimed with surprise. “I didn’t expect you to come.”
“Well, I’m not exactly coming…” I began then continued, “I want you to come with us. Monica is just in a bad mood and I have a pretty strong feeling that she was gonna come your way once you were well out of sight.”
“No thanks, Allie. Monica and I don’t get along so well anyways.” Corinne said.
“Well, couldn’t you at least try to work it out? We’re all going the same way anyways, so we might as well go together.” I said hopefully. Corinne smiled. “Very well, I’ll come along.”
Even though Corinne had agreed to come with us, we still lost a lot of time. It took quite a while to convince Monica to allow Corinne to come along – and lead the way. I can’t tell you how relieved Katrina and I were when they shook hands and said, “Let’s get going.”
At last we came upon a large deserted warehouse. “This is it. We’re gonna have to work together and be extremely quiet if you want to survive in there.” Corinne explained softly.
Katrina put her arms around Monica and whimpered behind her. “Alright. Allie, you need to stay here with Katrina.” Monica ordered.
“What? No, I’m going in there! I didn’t come all this way just to be Katrina’s body guard!” I said.
“Katrina is an heir. She needs to be protected and I need to go with Corinne to collect him, so you need to stay here with Katrina.” Monica stated firmly.
“Well, why can’t Katrina come, too?” I argued.
“Monica, perhaps Allie should come. I’m sure Katrina would be fine here alone.” Corinne offered.
Katrina turned her head towards Corinne. “No, no, no.” She whimpered. Monica was silent for a bit and then said, “Alright, Allie. You go with Corinne and Katrina and I will wait here for the both of you.”
“But, Monica, you’re the detective! You should be there to nab him!” I said, now thinking that she should go and I should stay.
“It’s okay, Allie. If you want a job in the detective agency, then you’re gonna have to learn how to catch the ones we’re after.” Monica explained.
I didn’t know what to say. Would she really give me a job if I did well? “Thanks, Monica.” I said gratefully.
“Good luck, you two.” Monica whispered.
Corinne opened the door and I followed after her. We were in.
That ends part 6! Part 7 coming soon! 😀
The Disappearing Heirs~ Part 5
After walking for several miles, we finally made it to the train station. Unfortunately, the train we needed had already begun moving, so we had to chase after it and jump on. Not fun at all. We were on the train for six days and hardly any of us spoke a word. “So, where did you come from, Allie?” Corinne asked, breaking the uncomfortable silence.
“Oh, I’m from California. I have a lot of farm animals and I must admit that I am worried about them.” I replied simply. I honestly didn’t feel much like talking.
“And what made you join up with Detective Jones?” Corinne questioned.
“Well, I found a package on my porch and it led me to Monica and Katrina. I never really felt like anything special, and when Monica told me I had to come, I agreed. I thought it might be a good opportunity for me to possibly find a job…” I said, looking at Monica. But she didn’t move. I didn’t even think she heard me.
“We should get off the train now.” Monica said, rising to her feet.
Corinne scooted over to the window and peered out. “Hmmm…. Yeah, we could jump off now.” Corinne said thoughtfully. I noticed Monica roll her eyes. Corinne and Monica didn’t get along so good. They disagreed about almost everything and I believe that’s why things felt so awkward.
“Wake up Katrina, Allie.” Corinne ordered.
I looked over at Katrina who was sleeping peacefully. “Why do I have to do this? I don’t like having to wake people up!” I said to myself. I stepped closer to her and tapped her on the shoulder.
“What happened?” Katrina asked suddenly and loudly. “Um- nothing happened, you just need to wake up.” I replied.
Katrina slowly stretched herself across the seat. “I don’t wanna get up!” She moaned.
“Hurry up! We need to jump off now!” Monica said with frustration.
We finally managed to get Katrina off of the train, but we really just got into more trouble.
“We should head back this way.”
“We need to go this way.” Monica and Corinne said in unison.
“Excuse me?” Monica asked with a tone of annoyance.
“I’m sorry, Monica, but we need to go that way.” Corinne stated.
“Monica, maybe we should listen to her.” I said, joining the conversation.
“No, we need to head back because we took too long to get off.” Monica replied to Corinne. They stared at each other for the longest time. Monica was angry and Corinne looked frustrated.
“So, are we gonna get going?” Katrina asked.
“I’m waiting for her answer!” They shouted at the exact same time.
“Look, Monica, I’m the only one here who knows where he’s hiding. If you want to find him, then you need to follow me.” Corinne explained.
“Well, you must be confused, because we should have gotten off of that train several miles back. So, we need to go back.” Monica pointed out.
“That makes no sense. If we had gotten off back there we would’ve been heading this way, not going back. If we were going back, that would take us back to the train station! We need to go forward!” Corinne yelled.
“Fine. You go your way and I’ll go mine.” Monica said. I don’t think she heard a word of what Corinne had said.
“Very well. If that’s how you want it.” Corinne said, but I knew she was disappointed.
“Whoever would like to join me is welcome to.” Corinne added and then walked away.
We all watched her for a few moments. I couldn’t believe Monica was being so ignorant! She just had to be right.
“You can go with her, Allie. I know you want to.” Monica said seriously.
I thought for a moment. Should I really leave Monica and Katrina to go after Corinne? Or should I stay with them and let Corinne go alone? Either way, I’d be being a bad friend to somebody….
That concludes part 5! I was gonna do more, but that would’ve been REALLY long! I hope you enjoyed this part! 😀

The Disappearing Heirs~ Part 4
We ran all through the night, and by morning we had reached an old beach. Katrina plopped herself on the sand, I almost thought she had fainted, but I realized she was just faking. I understood her being exhausted from running all that time, though. We only took a few breaks. We didn’t have any water, food, or sleep. Boy, I sure could use some sleep.
“So, what are we gonna do now?” I asked while trying to catch my breath.
“We’ll have to take a long way back so we can get to the airport. We don’t want to go back the same way we came. I don’t want to risk running into that person.” Monica spoke quietly. I knew she was worried and probably just as tired as all of us.
“I wonder who that person was.” I wondered as we both stared at the ocean. Then from behind us, we heard a voice say, “Are you lost?”
We all jerked around, but Monica was the first to speak. “No, not at all. Why do you ask?” She tried hard not to sound too suspicious.
“Oh, well, it just didn’t seem like you all meant to be here. You aren’t exactly dressed for the beach.” The woman pointed out. She was right. I was wearing cowboy boots and Katrina was wearing a dress. That’s not exactly how you dress at a beach.
“You aren’t exactly dressed for sixty degree weather…” Katrina mumbled. “Katrina!” I snapped.
“No, you’re right. I don’t look dressed for this weather, to you, but for me, I’m dressed perfectly. It’s very cold where I come from, so this weather feels great to me.” The woman explained.
“What is your name?” Monica asked the lady. “Corinne.” She replied. “Well, Corinne, we’d better be going. Thank you for checking in on us.” Monica said, and began to walk away.
We hesitantly followed Monica. Something didn’t feel right about Corinne and I wanted to find out more about her!
“Halt!” Corinne shouted. We all quickly spun around to see her pointing a gun. Katrina immediately whimpered and put her hands in the air. “What do you think you’re doing?” Monica asked and began walking slowly up to her.
“Don’t worry. I just need to ask you a few questions.” Corinne explained.
“What do you want to know?” Monica inquired.
“I want to know your name and your line of work.” Corinne stated.
“I’m Detective Monica Jones. I believe that answers both of your questions.” Monica said.
“I’m the one who was following you, Detective. I heard something about a case. What case is it?” Corinne asked forcefully.
“A top secret case. People are disappearing.” Monica said while looking all around her to be sure nobody else could hear. Corinne lowered her gun. “The disappearing heirs?” She asked, but I knew she already knew the answer.
“Yes. How do you know about this? Are you a detective as well?” Monica asked through whispers. “No, I’m not a detective. I know because, I used to help with capturing the heirs.” Corinne explained hesitantly.
“This is all part of his plan then, isn’t it? You’re trying to stall us so he can get a head start on making his next move!” Monica said that last sentence a little too loudly and quickly looked around to see if anyone heard. She was really lucky.
“No, not at all. I’m done helping him. I want to help you now. Will you trust me?” Corinne asked hopefully. I trusted her, but would Monica?
“Fine. We will head to London.” Monica said.
“If you want to get him, then going to London is not the place to go.” Corinne explained.
“My father ordered us to go to London. He said that would be his next move.” Monica reassured her.
“That newborn princess was made up by me to throw you guys off. If you really want to get him, then we need to go to Manhattan.” Corinne stated. Monica sighed and said, “Very well. I said I would trust you, so it looks like I’m going to have to keep my word.”
Corinne nodded her head in thanks at Monica. “Well, then, let’s go hop on the four o’clock train for Manhattan!”
That ends part 4! The next part will be coming soon! 😀
