Hey everyone! I’m starting a little series here and I’ll probably get each part up weekly or maybe twice a week. And no, Sadie’s Hope is not cancelled. We’re hoping to have the next part up by next week sometime 🙂 So without further ado, I present to you – “An Unexpected Gift”
“It was SO good, though, but I just wanna watch more!” She giggled as she leaned forward on the couch to get up.
Annika’s mom went on her phone to see a FaceBook message and Annika leaned in to read it, too. It said,
“Hi Riven-Delle! I remember reading a while back that you lost your doggy, and I wanted to offer to gift you a Labrador Retriever puppy! She’s due in a few days, so let me know 🙂 ”
“Wow… That is so sweet.” Mom breathed in her awe and sad struck daze. Since it was nearing a year since their last dog’s passing, she felt really sad thinking about her.
“She’s offering to GIFT it to us?” Annika asked, making sure she read that right. “Yeah, gift.” Mom repeated. “Oh, my gosh! That is so nice…” Annika said, her voice trailing off. She thought of how sweet that lady was to offer to do that. She thought of her brother’s dog that passed away almost a year ago. And she realized how much she wanted to have a dog again. “I wish we could take it… We can’t, huh?” She asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t think so.” Mom replied. Annika felt sad inside. She knew that her dad wouldn’t want a dog again, because he had said so before, but she remembered him asking her a question just the other day… “You know it’s so interesting that this comes up now. Daddy asked me the other day – Mom wants another dog, huh? And I told him – yeah. Isn’t that interesting that this comes up just a few days after?” Annika said. Mom’s eyes widened. “Yeah.. When did he ask you that?” She inquired. “On Saturday when we went shopping for your birthday.” Annika replied. They sat in silence for a moment and Annika said, “It would be so amazing to have a puppy again. To love and cuddle and for it to love us…”
Mom agreed and started to cry. Annika knew exactly what she was thinking about.
Annika placed her arm around her mom’s shoulder and began crying, too. She missed pup, too.
“Do you want the puppy?” Annika asked her mom. “You, know, I had planned on never getting another dog. I didn’t want one, and I didn’t think it would ever happen, but this has totally opened up my heart. Yeah, I want it. And I had planned on finally cleaning up all of pup’s stuff after a year passed and selling her crate, too.” Mom replied through her tears. “Wow! That’s so interesting! It’s like, daddy asked me that question, then you had been planning to get rid of pup’s stuff, and then this lady offers to give us a puppy! Something we couldn’t even afford to buy! It’s almost like, this is meant to be.” Annika smiled, then asked, “Are you gonna talk to Daddy about it?”
“Yeah, I’ll bring it up when he calls me at lunch.” Mom answered.
As Annika was waiting for her lunch, she was telling her friend all about the puppy and all that happened. Her mom was on the phone with her dad, and she was so anxious to hear his answer!
Then she noticed her mom coming out of the hall with a smile on her face. “What happened?” Annika asked hopefully.
Mom sat down beside her daughter and said, “He told me that the reason he asked you if I wanted a dog is because he wanted to bring me a little puppy on my birthday. But he got to thinking about it all realistically and decided that it wouldn’t work out.” Annika thought it was so sweet of her dad to want to do that for her mom, but she got disappointed. “So it’s a no?” She inquired. “He’s thinking about it. He told me not to say no yet.” Mom replied with a smile.
Annika placed her hand over her mouth as happy tears entered her eyes. “Oh, my gosh!! I’m so excited!! He’s actually thinking about it!!” Annika exclaimed as tears ran down her cheeks. Annika and her mom both cried and squealed and talked more about the puppy. When mom went in the kitchen to reply to the lady, Annika grabbed her iPod and texted her friend.
***NOTE- Please click on the pictures to see the messages more clearly 🙂
They texted so much that day about puppies! Annika’s mom also said that she was thinking about breeding! When Annika went to bed that night, she prayed hard about the puppy. She prayed that if it was God’s will that they have another puppy, then that the answer would come quickly and that they would have the love and patience and strength to do this.
That ends part one! The next part will be up very soon! 🙂
Heeeelloooo everyone! Wow, I guess I’m a little excited right now LOL! Okay, well, I am super excited (see? XD) to show you what I got at the AG store, and I know you all must be, too, so let’s get on with it, shall we? 😀
Grace’s Opening Night Outfit- I have been wanting this so badly, and when I realized I had enough money, I was like, “Okay, I’m buying this!” It is such a pretty outfit and I have no regrets of choosing this outfit! The headband stays in place and the little bow is adorable! It just adds so much to the outfit!
The dress is absolutely gorgeous and good quality! I love the different layers in the skirt and all the pretty sequins! The black “sash” is velvet and just so cute! Pink and black are a favorite color combo of mine 🙂
The sandals are amazing! These are literally some of my favorite sandals I own! I rate this outfit 5 out of 5 stars. If you have been trying to decide whether or not to buy it, don’t hesitate! It’s amazing!
I was really happy to find out that AG’s sale was also in store! I have loved The Rainy Day Coat ever since it came out, but I just never wanted to spend the money on it. $16 is much more reasonable 🙂
This coat is so stinkin’ adorable! I love the pink with white polka-dots and all the adorable buttons! I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this coat, so I rate it 5 out of 5 stars!
Here’s a bonus pic of Kiara since she looked so adorable 🙂
“Who could it be? This
animal dolly who I did see? Can you help me guess this mysteryyyy?” If you know what that song is from, that is awesome! LOL! 😀
I got MAG #39!!! She is SO adorable and I’m so happy to have her!! 😀 She’s going to take over and explain some things to you now 🙂
Hi! My name is- oh! I forgot! I can’t tell you that! What’s that? Why can’t I tell you what my name is? Well, I’m going to explain all that to you, but first I have to do a review!
As I’m sure you have noticed, Jaclynn bought me the Starry Hoodie Outfit! It is so comfy and I just love it!
The headband is super easy to get on and I just love the braided look! I’m just not sure about the yellow with this outfit…
The sweatshirt is very soft, therefore making it suuuuper comfy!!
Normally I am not a fan of print leggins, jeggins, pants, whatever. I just don’t think they’re very cute, but surprisingly, I like these! The stars look so relaxing and with how soft the jeggings are, it makes me want to sleep! OH! It makes me want to watch STAR WARS!!!! *said in a deep dramatic narrator’s voice* “In a galaxy far, far away…” Oops! Sorry, I just get so excited when I start talking about something I love!!
And last, the shoes are super cute! Gotta love the sparkles! Only, they’re a little harder to get on than AG’s other flats…
To make it easier to pull the hood over your head, there is a little slit in the hood, which, when on, looks a little weird. I get why it’s there, but it just looks weird, ya know?
But it looks adorable from the front, so that makes up for it! I rate this outfit 4 out of 5 stars, because of the yellow in the headband, the difficulty to get on the shoes, and the slit in the hood 🙂
Now, then here’s the answer to why I can’t tell you my name yet- I’m incomplete.
I can tell you that I’m 14, I love chinchillas, and the rest I can’t just straight up tell you.
Why am I incomplete? I can’t tell you that either. Right now I am just a doll. I’m not a member of Jaclynn’s “family” yet and I won’t be until I’m complete. When will I be complete? Time will tell, but I certainly hope I will be this year. But don’t worry! I will still appear in posts and I have already been assigned a star role in several pirate stories, which I’m really excited about! “It is a drawring of a key.” I need to watch Pirates of The Caribbean… AH! I LOVE THOSE MOVIES!!!
Even though I can not tell you my first name, I can tell you my middle name, so that you have something to call me until I am officially introduced. You can call me Jane. “No, no, no, no. I’m Jane.” AGH! There are too many amazing movies!!! Well, I have said everything there is to say and I am starving, so I shall bid you all farewell! *bites lip and blinks back tears whilst thinking to herself “Hobbit!”* Until next time! Bye!
Isn’t she so sweet and fun?! I just love her!! She has one of my favorite personalities of my dolls!! 😀
Have a nice night everyone! 🙂
I’ve always wanted to make one of these and since I just watched BOTFA for the second time AND discovered that some lyrics from The Last Goodbye are actually IN the Hobbit book, I decided it was high time I do it! 😀
Credit to Billy Boyd for the amazing song, and to Adaline for making up lyrics photoshoots 🙂
“I saw the light fade from the sky.
On the wind I heard a sigh…
As the snowflakes cover my fallen brothers, I will say this last goodbye….
Night is now falling, so ends this day.
The road is now calling and I must away
Over hill, and under tree
Through lands where never light has shone
By silver streams that run down to the sea
To these memories I will hold
With your blessing, I will go
To turn at last to paths that lead home.
And, oh, where the road then takes me, I cannot tell
We came all this way, but now comes the day, to bid you farewell….
I bid you all a very fond farewell…….”
I only used some of the song because it’s a long song and I didn’t have much time to take the pictures, but I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know if you’d be interested in seeing more lyrics photoshoots! 😀
Have a great rest of your day!
Hey everyone! Yesterday I cleaned out under my bed (my doll’s bedroom) because I’ve been having a ton of baby spiders in my room lately (*shudders*) and the other day I noticed a few under there, so I freaked out… Anyways! Back to the subject of this post – I set up my dolls to where they’re all doing something and I thought it’d be fun to show you what they’re up to 🙂
So here’s the overview! Some of them are hiding behind the curtains, though LOL!
Over here, Dallas is getting Pepper out of his bed so he, Eli, and Jeremy can play with him. Rapunzel is asking if she can play with him, too and Lissie is trying to get a book, but Dallas is in the way. You can kinda see Clara back there just hanging out 🙂
Bella, Ellie, and Snow are being as sweet as can be playing with Licorice 🙂
Belinda is helping Cecile with some school.
And Merida wants Belinda for something…. Probably to help her climb something 😛
And of course Caleb and Kendra are fighting and screaming at the top of their lungs. Kristoff is trying to pull Caleb off of Kendra and Annika starts to intervene. Mickey and Minnie are sad and scared by their fighting as usual, too 😉
Kanani, Riven-Delle, and Annika had all been talking, but then stopped instantly when they noticed Caleb and Kendra fighting. Anna was gonna talk to Riven-Delle, but also stopped when she noticed the fight.
Janie looking over at Caleb and Kendra. They attract a lot of attention to themselves whenever they fight 😛
Julie, Kaya, and Samantha are talking 🙂
And oh, dear! Marie-Grace was talking to Saige (who is painting) when she was supposed to be practicing her singing, so Lana told her to stop talking to Saige, Marie-Grace got mad, and now Jess came over and is trying to tell Lana that it’s okay for Marie-Grace to talk to Saige. My goodness!
Josefina and Kirsten were about to bake and are now trying to persuade Rebecca into helping them, too. Addy was talking to Kirsten 🙂
Jenna doing some things at the vanity 🙂
And Kiara and Caroline are chatting 🙂
Do your dolls have a usual thing that happens every day? Like how Caleb and Kendra always fight? What do your dolls like to do?
YAY! Sadie’s Hope has started!! I was going to post the first part, but then we decided that Emma should post it, so be sure to go read the first part on her blog BEFORE reading this part 🙂
Sadie hesitantly followed her. Amy led her outside and down a few blocks until they reached a little shack, from which Sadie could hear lots of loud voices.
Opening the door, Amy gestured to the suddenly silent group of kids.
“Hey, Amy, who’s this?” A dark haired girl inquired.
“This is Sadie-” Amy paused to remember her last name, but soon remembered they hadn’t been properly introduced, “What’s your last name?” Amy questioned. “Darrell.”
Amy nodded her head in acknowledgement and said, “Sadie, these are some friends of mine. We’re a small group of kids who try to help other orphan children who have no home.”
Amy continued and listed their names, “This is Viveca,” Amy gestured to the black haired girl,
“and this is Gretta,” She pointed to the African American,
“and this is Mark.” Amy said and the boy nodded. “What’s she doing here, Amy?” Mark asked, sounding a little annoyed.
“She’s a new–” Amy paused and searched for the right word, “Friend. We are going to help her.”
“We? Nah, I don’t think so.” Mark refused.
“Mark!” Amy shouted.
“Honestly, Mark, why even be in the group if you don’t wanna help out another orphan kid?” Viveca questioned with annoyance. Mark rolled his eyes. Sadie knew there was going to be a lot of tension between Mark and her, if he was going to help.
“What do you even want our help with?” Mark asked, eyes suspicious.
“I need to get my little brother out of the orphanage.” Sadie said.
“Oh, you’re lucky he’s even alive. You know those orphanages are teeming with deadly diseases.” Mark smirked. Sadie felt her face grow hot, and she pursed her lips together to keep from saying anything rude back at him.
“Mark! Really, could you just quit it!” Gretta shouted.
Mark could tell that Sadie was upset, so he asked, “Your brother must feel pretty bad to have a sister like you – you abandoned him, didn’t you?”
Sadie looked at him with wide eyes, trying to hold back her guilt.
Mark snickered and said, “I knew it.”
Sadie looked down, her cheeks hot. “Mark Campbell, if you say one more unkind word to Sadie, I will take away your food for the week!” Amy shouted, her face burning with anger. Mark frowned, but said no more.
Amy glanced over at Sadie, who’s eyes looked all teary. “Hey, don’t let him bother you. He’s always saying something mean to somebody.” Amy comforted silently.
Sadie looked away, embarrassed that she was letting him get to her. “Yeah, um, when can we go and get him out?” Sadie asked.
“Well, we will have to make a plan first. Anyone got any ideas?” Amy inquired.
“Maybe we,” Gretta pointed to her and Mark, “can distract the lady at the front desk while you two sneak in,” She pointed at Sadie and Amy, “and grab your brother?”
“And what about me?” Viveca asked, feeling a little left out.
“Oh, um, you can come with us to distract the lady, you’re good at coming up with lies!” Gretta added.
Viveca smiled, “Alright, that sounds good to me!”
“Okay! Everything sounds great! We can go as soon as you want, Sadie.” Amy said.
“Well, then, let’s leave now!” Sadie said, quite determined to get her brother back.
“Oh, for a second there I thought you were going to leave him in the orphanage for a couple other days.” Mark grinned devilishly.
Sadie flashed Mark a dirty look and was just about to say something back, when Viveca intervened-
“WELL! We should really get on our way, shall we?” Viveca asked Amy.
“Yes, let’s get going!” Amy agreed.
Mark laughed and followed the girls out the door.
And that concludes this part!! Emma and I hope you liked it! 😀
The next part will be posted on Emma’s blog 🙂
A few of you have probably “heard” me mention that me and Emma are doing a photostory series together. Well, we are getting ready to start posting the first one in the trilogy soon, so today we are each posting our own posters that we made!! 😀
Feel free to print it out and hang it up in yours or your doll’s bedroom! And be sure to check out Emma’s poster at her blog! 🙂
…. I started this blog!! Yep, today is my 2 year blogiversary!!! It is crazy for me to think that 2 years have already passed. It feels like I just started my blog and I got my first few comments and posted the video on how to curl Saige’s hair. Time certainly flies!
I would just like to take a moment to thank each of you for being such amazing friends and loyal readers of my blog! You all mean so much to me and I thank God for you all each day. I wish I could meet you all in real life because you’re all just the sweetest, nicest girls! 🙂
So many new blogs have started since I entered the blogging world, and yet so many have left. Whenever I see a blog leave, it just makes me want to cry. I know I am not the best at posting regularly and I know that TUT pretty much failed because I was so forgetful about it, but I really want you all to know, that I am trying very hard to be more responsible and organized with my blog and I really hope that by the end of the year, I along with all of you, will see a change in that area.
My blog is such a huge part of my life and I just love making posts! Even though you might not see me post for a week, I still absolutely love making posts and I will be posting for many years to come! I know I will never grow out of dolls and it’s so crazy and exciting for me to think of what my posts will be like when I’m 40! I hope that my posts will remain just as fun and entertaining for you all as the years go by 🙂
Now for a couple little announcements!
1. I am starting something called “A Few of My Favorite Reads”. So at the end of each week, I will share some of my favorite posts that I read during the week on other girl’s blogs.
2. I’m starting another thing called “PIC of The Month”- PIC stands for- Play, Imagine, Create. This will be posted monthly and it will be a super random story with my dolls where a few things won’t make sense. It’ll be really fun!
3. I am having a……. GIVEAWAY TODAY!! I’ll be giving away an outfit/costume that I crocheted, so be sure to check back later this afternoon! 😀
I hope you have a great day!! 😀
I was SO excited! I had auditioned to play Allie, but I saw a lot of other girls there auditioning and I just got so nervous and I didn’t think I would get the part, but then they told me “You got it!” And I was like- YAY!
Okay, please don’t think this is weird, but I actually was like one hundred percent sure that I would get the job, so it wasn’t really a surprise for me, but I was still super excited and I just couldn’t wait to begin!
I felt really nervous, actually. I had auditioned just to try it out, but I did NOT think I would actually get the job. So when they told me that I was going to play Monica, I just froze and said, “Wait, what?” I was overwhelmed with excitement and shock and for a brief moment I was like, “Should I tell them I changed my mind?” But I didn’t and when I met the rest of the cast, I just knew that it was meant to be that I get the job because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have made all of these wonderful friends.
Oh, my goodness, I just love them so much! Riven-Delle and Jenna are just awesome. They’re so sweet and we have had a blast filming this together.
I don’t even know where to begin! Kiara and Jenna are two of the most amazing people you could ever hope to meet. We have all shared so many laughs and tears together and I am just so thankful that we all made such good friends.
We all get along so great, it’s been a real pleasure getting to know them. Our friendship has grown so much since the first day. We’ve all been so supportive and we’ve just always been there for each other. It was really hard filming the last few scenes because we knew that it was all going to be over and we don’t even know if there’s gonna be a third movie, so saying goodbye was really hard.
Question #3- If there is to be a third “movie”, what would you hope/expect to happen?
Well, I would want Allie to get reunited with her dad. I can’t tell you how upset I was when I found that she doesn’t get reunited with her dad, I was like “This is not acceptable! I protest!” Of course I wasn’t serious, but I AM really sad that they didn’t get reunited.
I don’t really know if there’s something I would hope to happen, except for Allie and her dad being reunited, but as for expecting, I don’t really that know that either. Corinne obviously got what she wanted, she’s an agent at a detective’s agency and that’s great, so yeah, I’m not so sure. Maybe Corinne could turn bad again or something…
Oh, they just need to be reunited! I don’t even have to say the names because I know everyone knows who I’m talking about. That ending was just terribly awesome. I mean, leaving everyone clueless as to what happened that’s so rude, but cool and I just loved the ending, but I also really didn’t like it. And um, I do know that the director is considering making another “movie”, but she isn’t entirely sure, so that’s why she ended this one that way so that it leaves an opening for a new one in case she gets an idea for a sequel.
Oh, yes! Totally! Allie is like literally me! Like everything about us is the same, except I’m a little more happy than she is. But yeah, we’re like the same person and I think that may be why I got the role of playing her.
No, not at all! Corinne is way too like, tough and focused, and I’m just not that way. We are both extremely opposite!
No, me and Monica are so different. Like we’re both quiet, but Monica is quiet because she’s a detective so she’s very concentrated and she’s got a lot of things on her mind. But I’m quiet because that’s just the way I am 🙂
Thank you all for your answers! We really enjoyed hearing what you had to say!
That concludes this posting day! I hope you enjoyed it! 😀
“Just keep looking! There has to be something here.” I said, not wanting to give up.
“Hey! I found something!” Monica exclaimed from a nearby desk.
“What is it?” I asked as Corinne and I rushed over.
“It’s the royal family line! I found Josh and his wife, Angela and under them it says, baby girl, but no name.” Monica pointed out. “Well, now I have my answer, so let’s get back to the palace!” I said, and we left.
“Please, leave. Before you waste both of our times.”
“My mother, Princess Angela, gave me no name when I was born! My name is Allie, and I will say it once again, I’m the rightful heir to the throne! Back away, now!” I said forcefully.
She stared at me for a moment, a look of disgust on her face. Then she stood.
“Your throne, Your Highness.” She said in a fake kind voice.
Slowly, I walked over and took my seat on the throne, Monica and Corinne smiling on.
The days turned into months, and I found myself thinking a lot about my father. I wondered what happened to him, and if he was safe. I realized how much I longed to see him again, so I called Uriah into the room.
“I need you to get a message to Agent Corinne for me, please.” I said. If I was going to find my father, I needed Corinne to assist me. I was going to do whatever it takes to see my father again….
*In our world*
“Agent, this letter just came for you.” A man said.
Corinne read the note and a smile spread across her face. “Get me my hat! I’ve got a new case that requires immediate attention.” She called out and ran out the door to fulfill Allie’s requests.
STAY TUNED! Check back in one hour for an interview with the stars of TDH Season 2: The Crown Reclaimed!
To my surprise, many of the people believed I was the lost princess, and the next morning, several of them turned out in front of the palace yelling “We want Allie!” “Give us our rightful queen!” “Allie! Allie!”
“Stewardess, you see who the people want! Don’t you want to give them who they are asking for?” I shouted, so she could hear me over the people’s loud voices.
The stewardess looked on at the people, her eyes wide. She clearly didn’t know how to respond to this.
“I don’t care who they want! You have no proof that you are the lost princess!” The stewardess shouted back.
“Actually, I do. You do know about the royal birthmark, don’t you?” I asked.
“Yes, of course! What of it?” She asked, sticking her nose into the air.
I climbed up the wall and pulled my hair out of the way. “Look at my neck.” I told her, and when she did, her eyes grew wide again.
“This is ridiculous! It doesn’t mean anything! You could have just put a mark on your neck!” She yelled.
“You’ll have to do something far greater in order for me to believe you are the princess. Tell me what your name was when you born!” She demanded.
I froze. I hadn’t even known I was given a name when I was born! The only name I’d ever known was, Allie.
“Ah ha! I knew you weren’t the princess!” She yelled and walked away.
I slowly turned my head to the crowd. “Why wouldn’t Josh have told me my real name?” I wondered.
Corinne and Monica looked at me, their faces bewildered.
I came down and asked, “Corinne, do you remember my dad saying anything about my real name?”
“No, I don’t think he mentioned it.” She replied.
“I thought so.” I sighed.
“Well, maybe he doesn’t even know! Maybe your mother died before she had a chance to tell him!” Monica suggested.
“Yeah, that would make sense. My mom died shortly after I was born and my dad wasn’t home.” I said. Then I looked around for Adella. “I’m gonna see if Adella knows anything about my real name.” I said.
“Adella, do you know what name I was given when I was born?” I inquired.
“No, I’m afraid not. But perhaps you could check the library! There are many books in there about the kingdom’s history that I bet even the stewardess doesn’t know about.” Adella suggested with a smile.
That concludes this part! Look for the GRAND FINALE coming next!! 😀
