While my family and I don’t celebrate Halloween, I still enjoy dressing up and going to a local church for games and (of course) CANDY! I’m being Elsa for Halloween, who are you going to be?
Anyways, I hope you enjoy this little photostory! 🙂
“I’m so glad that my mom and dad said I could have some friends over for a sleepover!” Annika said. “Me, too! Thanks for having us over, Annika!” Kiara said with a smile. “No problem! So, I made some cupcakes and frosted them in yours and Clara’s favorite colors! And we also bought a little box of truffles. Gotta have candy!” Annika said with a giggle.
….But soon enough, they fell asleep.
What did you and your dollies do for Dolloween?
I have just realized, that I have only done this game one time on my blog! And it’s such a fun game to play, so I thought that we needed to do it again 🙂
They both honestly look so cute, that I don’t think I could pick! I hope you have fun voting! I will post the winner next Saturday 🙂
Have a nice rest of your day!
Not too long ago, when I was at Target, I found that Our Generation had come out with some new Mini dolls! I surprisingly found myself in love with Mini Sienna and she ended up coming to live with my doll family 🙂
Sienna is warming her cold little hands at the rather large fireplace.
Sienna’s shoes are so cute and the quality of them really makes me think of Barbie shoes- the ones you would put on the little Kelly or Tommy dolls! I really love the rose and the tights are also a very nice quality.
Sienna is a very nice doll and everything about her is a very nice quality and I would definitely recommend these dolls. The Our Generation Mini Dolls are sold for $9.99 at Target- a great deal! I was really happy to be able to add her to my doll collection 🙂
Do you have an OG Mini Doll? What are your thoughts?
As you all may know, I posted a while back about starting “Jaclynn’s Q&A” and I had some troubles with getting it started. Then just recently they got fixed 🙂
But then I had been thinking a lot about how fun it would be to do the Q&A with my friend, Emma, that way you could get to know both of us a little more! And I really thought it was meant to be when Emma talked about doing a Q&A together. So we have officially decided to do a Q&A together!!! YAY!! 😀
We will be doing it at least once a month and we will be choosing questions from my post “Jaclynn’s Q&A”, but if you have some more questions, feel free to leave them in the comments on this post! We are both really excited to answer your questions! 😀
Have a nice day!
Sometime last week, my mom and I went to the thrift store just to see if they had anything doll-ish there. We checked the back first, where they have stuffed animals and sometimes dolls, but didn’t find anything interesting. Then we went to the front to look at the dolls that are behind the counter- we found an Our Generation Doll and a Bitty Baby!! We were going to buy the Our Generation Doll, but realized that it wasn’t that much cheaper than buying it from Target, so we passed on her (but yes, we did buy the Bitty Baby!). As we were looking around, still trying to find an AG doll, I looked down and saw………
Mia’s Bedroom Furniture!!!!!!! I nearly had a heart-attack!!! Unfortunately, it was $99.99. Too much money for us to spend.
But, when we bought the Bitty Baby, they gave us a coupon for 50% off anything that was only good to use Tuesday or Wednesday. So on Tuesday we went and I was hoping that the furniture would still be there! This time we went straight to the counter and there it was. I told my mom that I could put around $30 towards it, that way she would end up only spending $20- it was a deal!
So here it is!! We bought it for only $50!!! Mia’s Bedroom Furniture was originally sold from American Girl for $125 and included the chair, mattress, and pillow. All is included, except for the pillow. We also looked it up on eBay just to see how much it was selling for- I could easily sell it for around $300, but I’m keeping it 😛
The chair is so adorable and I love the roomy desk area!
The door to the closet/cabinet has a mirror inside and four shelves. This is a great piece of furniture for storing things! 😀
I have always loved this set and thought it would be such a neat thing to have, so I am VERY happy to have this!! I had a lot of work to do on it, but I am very happy with the way it turned out. I will be posting more photos of it all new and clean tomorrow and pictures of the Bitty Baby will be coming soon as well 😀
What do you think of Mia’s Bedroom Furniture?
I’ve noticed a few blogs have been taking family photos of their dolls, and I’ve always wanted to do that, but because I have so many, it would take HOURS to get them all ready, so I never did it. But- it is time to stop being lazy, LOL! 😛
Back row, left to right- Addy, Josefina, Felicity, Kirsten, Rebecca, Kanani, Marie-Grace, Caroline, and Saige.
Bottom row, left to right- Beth, Annika, Kendra, Cecile, Caleb, Samantha, Jeremy, Kaya, Mickey, Jess, Minnie, Clara, and Janie
I took a family photo of all of my AG dolls (including my sisters) on Saturday and I think it turned out great! It was so neat to see them all set up together 🙂 I was going to do a family photo that included everyone in my doll family, which would include MyTwinn, Disney Toddler Dolls, and other baby dolls, but I didn’t have room anywhere to get a picture of all of them! So maybe some day I’ll get a family picture of my non-AG dolls 😉
Who is in your American Girl Doll family?
So, I had never been on a hike before in my life, until last Thursday when me and my mom were invited to go with our friends (my best friend Emma 😉 ). I loved the hike- it was SO much fun! But these last couple of days I have been sooo sore! My legs are not used to that sort of thing 😛
Me and Emma each brought a doll along (of course!) to take pics of, so here are the photos I took! 😀
I love this outfit on Kanani!
Kanani trying to climb a tree, it didn’t work out so well, though 😛
I love this picture 🙂
Kanani taking in the view 🙂
I wasn’t sure which one I liked better… What do you think?
This tower was so cool!
The plaque on the tower.
And that ends our photoshoot! Kanani said that she really enjoyed the hike and would love to go on one again! 🙂
It was so amazing to be up so high and to just look around the beautiful world God has created. It was so neat to think, “Wow, God made all of this.” He is truly amazing 🙂
Do you or your dolls like to hike?
Yes, it’s finally here! If you would like to be refreshed by what is going on- go read the previous parts by clicking here 🙂
I went on my way to seek out Aldera, the woman who had cursed Eiden when he was little. And then I found her, smack in the middle of nowhere. “Why, Elexa, long time no see. Last I saw you, you were only 5 years old.” Aldera greeted.
“Enough of the fake kindness, Aldera, I need to speak with you, about Eiden…” I finished softly.
Aldera’s face turned cold. “I can’t bring him back, dear, if that’s what you want.”
“Oh, I think you can. Please, I already caused my father’s death, I don’t want to be responsible for Eiden’s, too!” I cried. Aldera smirked and then laughed. “You foolish girl! Your brother isn’t dead, he’s asleep and that curse can never be broken.” I looked at her in surprise. “But, if you made the curse, can’t you undo it?” I asked.
“I could, but I don’t want to. Your brother destroyed my castle and that took away almost all of my powers! If I were ever to break that curse, I would need to receive something very special and useful to me in return. Which considering why you ran away, I know you won’t give that.” Aldera stated.
“No, I will! I’ll give you anything you want!” I said hopefully.
A little grin spread across Aldera’s face. “Anything?” She asked.
“Anything. All I want is my brother back. What do you want?” I inquired.
“I want- your powers.” Aldera said while smiling.
“Wh- what do you want with my powers?” I asked.
Aldera stepped more closely to me and whispered, “You’ve heard the tale of Snow White, of course. Well that queen wanted to be the fairest of them all, but I want to be the most powerful of them all. If you give me your powers, I will bring your brother back.” I thought hard before replying then asked, “No one will get hurt, will they?” Aldera looked surprised and said, “Why, of course not! I would never dream of it! Do we have a deal?” What I didn’t notice was that she was crossing her fingers behind her back.
I held out my hands and sighed. “Deal.”
And with a wide grin, Aldera removed my powers.
When they were removed, I felt weak, and it caused me to fall to the floor.
“Oh, don’t worry. That’s bound to happen after having your powers removed. You’ll wake up, just as soon as I get rid of you.” She said and with a wave of her wrist-
-I was transported back to my ice palace.
“Eiden!” I yelled as I noticed him still lying on the floor.
“Eiden, are you alright? Wake up!” I said as I shook his shoulder.
“Elexa? Wh- what happened?” Eiden asked as he began to sit up.
“It’s okay. I gave up my powers to Aldera so she would bring you back.” I explained.
“Y- you gave up your powers for me? But, the reason you left is because you didn’t want your powers taken away.” Eiden said, confused.
“I know, but you’re my brother, and you mean more to me than any magical power in the world.” I said with a smile.
Eiden embraced me in his best brotherly hug. Then Eiden said, “Come on, let’s go home and see Mother.”
That’s the end of Part 4! Look for Part 5 coming soon! 😀
So how many of you went to the computer right away when you got up in the morning on the winter release date? I’m sure I wasn’t the only one! I was very pleased with this release and a LOT of the new items have made it to my AG wishlist!! 😀
Now, let’s take a look at the items!
Fair Isle PJ Collection is $64 or you can buy the doll version for $24 or the girl’s size for $40. I absolutely LOVE these PJ’s!! They are so cute and are now on my wishlist 😀
“Hit the Slopes” Collection is $76 (you can buy just the outfit for $34 or the Skis and Helmet for $42) and at first I wasn’t sure what I thought of this outfit, but it has grown on me! I really love that jacket 🙂
Sparkly Skating Set is $44…. A little on the expensive side 😛 I actually don’t like this outfit. The only thing I like are the ice skates 🙂
Pretty Pink Riding Outfit & Helmet is $66 (buy just the outfit for $42) I LOVE THIS!!! I really want this!! The pants and the coat and the boots- AAAHH! SO CUTE!! 😀
Western Plaid Outfit & Hat is $54 (Buy just the outfit for $30) and again- I LOVE IT!!! One of my favorite color combos is pink and brown!! I seriously love this outfit!! 😀
Western Plaid Dress & Belt for Girls is $54 and I think it’s really cute, but too short. 😉
Prancing Horse & Saddle Set is $136 (buy the horse for $98 or the Saddle and Award Set for $38) and OMGOSH I LOVE this horse!!! I’ve already decided that my dolls need a male horse and that they will name him Brego after a horse in LOTR, LOL 😛
Winter White Outfit is $38, when I first saw this I thought “Oh, that’s cute!” but when I looked at it more I was like “Oh. Not really.” I’ve never really liked how tights look under shorts and I really don’t think that they should’ve used shorts in this outfit… I’d say the only things I like about this outfit are the vest and the boots. Those boots are just seriously to die for! 😛
Winter White Outfit for Girls $142. I don’t really think much about this outfit 😉
Holiday Accessories are $32 and really cute! I love the little shrug and the ornament- it’s just all really cute! I wouldn’t spend over $30 on this set, though 😛
Happy Holiday Dress is $36 and I’m DYING over its beautiful-ness!!! I love the style of it and how sparkly it is and how pretty it looks on MAG #61!!!! It would be so fun to get this for her on Christmas *wink wink at my mom* LOL 😀
Happy Holiday Outfit for Girls is $132 and while it is very pretty, and I would probably wear it, it is also too short. 😕
Silver Shimmer Dress is $36 and while it looks pretty, it actually doesn’t seem all that great to me. The shape is a little weird and I think the ruffles start too high. 😉
Silver Shimmer Outfit for Girls is $80- see what I mean about the shape? It just looks way too square, huh? 😛
Sparkly Black Flats are $14 and they are really cute! They would go great with a lot of outfits! 🙂
Now let’s move on to the Bitty stuff!
Teal Tidings Dress is $28 and pretty cute. I’m not so sure what I think about that color right now… Maybe it’s just that color on that doll that I don’t like 😉
Teal Tidings Dress for Girls is $54 and just like the doll version- it’s cute 🙂
Imagine & Play Tent is $195 and SO adorable!! If this was around when I was little, I would’ve loved this!
Little Leopard Snowsuit is $28 and SO CUTE!! The baby looks so cute and cuddly, doesn’t she?? 😀
Frosty Ice-Skating Outfit is $36 and not really all that great. I really don’t like that the ice skates are felt. That looks really cheesy, AG 😕
Bitty’s Bib & Sippy is $12 and pretty cute. I think the reason I’m not so fond of it is because I already have a lot of stuff like this for my baby dolls and this just doesn’t scream “ADORABLE” to me LOL 😛
Tiny Toile Set is $40 and again, it’s pretty cute. I think I’d like it better with a headband instead of a hat 🙂
Bitty’s Bunny Sleeper is $18, I think it’s really cute! 🙂
Bitty’s Bunny Bodysuits are $18. I think these are my favorite of the new Bitty Baby stuff! They’re just so basic and practical for babies, so I guess that’s why I like them so much 🙂
Bitty’s Purple Dragon is $30. It’s really cute and makes me think of an old PBS Kids show I used to watch called Dragon Tales!
Now for the Bitty Twins new stuff!
Ballerina Nightgown is $34 and SO ADORABLE!! Doesn’t Janie look so cute in that?! And I love the snow globe, too!!
Ballerina Nightgown for Girls is $38. I can totally see myself wearing this when I was little! 🙂
Toy Soldier PJ’s are $34 and SO CUTE!! Jeremy looks so adorable!! Like a little prince!! And I love that nutcracker! It would look so cute on my doll’s mantle! Oh, my gosh! These would be so cute on Elijah! Okay, I need these now 😀
Pretty City Carriage and Prancing Horse $373 and I am needing money so badly right now!!! THAT CARRIAGE IS BEAUTIFUL!! Can you just imagine all the photostories this would be great for?! And just SO fun for play, too!! I LOVE the bells and that it comes with a blanket to put over the dolls while they’re taking a ride!! And that the top goes up and down!! Oh, my goodness, girls, I’m dying! How on earth am I going to save up almost $400?! :O There’s no way I can do that, considering how bad I am at saving money. But, yeah, this is my absolute favorite from the release!! 😀
Again, I think this was a really good release! All of my absolute favorites were the new horse related items 🙂
What did you think of this release? Anything new added to your wishlist?
Hey everyone! Yesterday I went with my friend, Emma to Oak Glen where there are lots of cute shops and apple orchards and it was just so fun! We each brought a doll along to take pictures of (look out for a photoshoot on her blog, too!) and this is my longest photoshoot EVER! I took over 40 pictures!! Get ready for a big photoshoot!! 😀
Molly and Annika sitting in a wagon 🙂
I seriously loved how this tree twisted!
Doll feet!! 😀
There were SO many apples on the floor and a lot of them were rotten. They smelled so bad! 😛
Isn’t this pump adorable?!
LOL! You can hardly see Molly and Annika! They’re so little!!
I love wagon wheels 🙂
I love the rays in this picture!
Well, that’s it! I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures just as much as I enjoyed taking them 😀
Which one was your favorite?
P.S. I ended up only using 34 pictures, but that is still a lot! 🙂
