100 FOLLOWERS & Jordan’s Birthday!

*jaw drops* *gasps* OH MY GOSH!!!! I REACHED 100 FOLLOWERS THIS MORNING!!! :O

I can’t even begin to thank you all enough! Reaching 100 followers has been something I’ve been looking forward to for a long time and now it’s finally happened – I don’t even really know what to do now! XD
You all are such huge supporters of this blog and many of you are my good friends – THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! *virtual hugs*

I feel like I’ve made a lot of speeches lately, thanking you all for being awesome and for following my blog, so I can’t really think of anything to say besides – Thank you. You have no idea how much this means to me and how excited I am about this! Your comments, prayers, support, everything, means the world to me and it’s why I’m still here today, so thank you for that 🙂

A giveaway will be coming this June sometime to celebrate, so be on the watch for that 😉

Now, on another note, today is Jordan’s 23rd birthday! I’m sure you all know Jordan, I’ve talked about him a lot on here, but in case you don’t, he’s my awesome older brother 🙂

(I obviously didn’t know where to look in this pic XD)

Jordan, you are amazing. I’ve probably told you that a million times before, but it’s true.

(that’s Jacob, my oldest brother, photobombing a lovely picture – oh well XD )

You’re such a loving, caring brother, and I thank God each day for you. You are always so natural with everyone you’re around, and I think that’s why so many people love you – you’re just yourself and that makes others more comfortable to be themselves, too.

(Ugh, my hair XD)

Your humor and energy has turned so many of my days into happy ones. Like the other day when you stole my phone and we were running and laughing all around the house (wait – that was yesterday, wasn’t it? XD ) – that was the start to a great day for me. You literally have made so many of my days great and turned me into a happy, fun mood.

And, Jordan, I can’t tell you how happy I am that you found your true love (she’s the one to the left of Jordan, in case you didn’t know 😉 And that’s my sister Jen on the far left, and Jacob next to her). Seeing you happy with someone, makes me so happy and excited for you. You’re getting married in like – a little over 4 months!! That’s crazy to me… I’m gonna miss you so, so much, but now I’ll look forward to your visits and enjoy the time you’re here 🙂

You have a good heart and I know you will be a great husband to Aaryn and an awesome dad to your future kids. I love you, Jordan. Don’t ever change.

Happy Birthday! 😀

Photoshoot at Gramma’s!

Hey everyone! First, I just want to say thank you all for your prayers and kind words during the loss of my grandpa. They really meant a lot and I want you all to know that I am doing great! 🙂

My mom and I stayed with my gramma for a whole week and just got back on Saturday. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am to be HOME! *lets out a contented sigh*

While I was at my gramma’s house, I took a photoshoot of Leia in her beautiful backyard! There are a lot of pics, so get comfy! ;D

Rest In Peace…

Hey everyone! I know I’ve been inactive on my blogs for a while, but I have a couple of reason; 1- I was super busy preparing for a craft fair which we had to miss because, going into reason 2- my mom and I needed to go be with my Gramma. Her husband, my step grandpa (Papa Chuck) was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March and given 3 months left to live. We were all planning to go over on Mother’s Day weekend and see him, but my gramma called and said she didn’t think he would make it until then. So, since the rest of my family couldn’t make it, my mom and I came to be with my gramma.

We arrived on Saturday and went to visit Papa Chuck who was in a hospice home. He didn’t look very good and his breathing wasn’t right. I knew that it could be any moment. I was scared it would even happen when we were there. But we left for a while to get dinner and go shopping and we had a great time. We were out pretty late, but we went back to see Papa Chuck and, well…. He was gone.

It was a long hard night, but I’m glad I got to see him one last time. I didn’t know him very well, but I feel like I did when I hear all the stories. I grieve for my gramma and I’m very heartbroken about my grandpa, but I know where he is. He’s in Heaven and there he has no more suffering, no pain, no sadness, he can hear now, and he is praising God and walking on streets of gold. Who could ask for a better birthday present than to be experiencing that and being in the Lord’s presence? (It was his 69th birthday on Saturday, when he passed away.) We all find peace and relief in knowing that.

He was a good man who touched the lives of many people. He will always be remembered.

I love you, Papa Chuck. I look forward to seeing you again someday.

Also, I just want say thanks to all who prayed when they read my prayer requests post on He Rights My Wrongs. They really meant a lot 🙂
