Annika & Saige: An American Girl Adventure!
Hi girls!
So, you know how when you playΒ with your dolls you have to use your imagination and make do with what you have? And when we make photostories with our dolls we try to make everything all perfect with props, backgrounds, outfits, etc.?
Well, I always do that and make everything perfect, but today I’m going to give you a photostory without making it perfect. It’s going to be exactly as if I am simply playing with my dolls. So, are you ready? π
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saige- “You almost done, Annika?”
Annika- “Yep! Just gotta pack my notebookΒ and the telescope and I’ll be ready. You packed the food, right?”
Saige- “Oh, yes! I was only able to pack bread and two water bottles, though. It will hardly be enough for our journey.”
Annika- “That’s ok. We’re only going to be gone for 5 days-Β we’ll be fine.”
Saige- “Have you planned out exactly where we’re going, yet?”
Annika- “Yep!”
Saige- “Where?”
Annika- “To the mountains! We are going mountain climbing!”
The two sisters set out on their journey!
They came to the first rocky mountain and climbed up- it was no easy job!
Annika- “Watch out for this ledge, Saige! Poison Ivy is growing there.”
After walking another long distance they came to a very large mountain!
Annika- “AAAAAHH- OOF!”
Saige- “ANNIKAAA!!”
Annika slipped, but was able to grab on to a ledge.
Saige- “Annika, are you alright?!?!?”
Annika- “Yes, I think so. Throw down a rope so I can climb back up.”
Saige threw down the rope and Annika climbed back up.
Saige- “Come on, you’re almost there!”
She made it up safe and sound!
“Thank you, Saige.” Annika breathed.
Saige- “You’re welcome.”
Saige- “Are you alright?”
Annika- “Yeah, I just have a little scratch.”
Saige bandaged up Annika’s hand and wrist.
Saige- “There, all better.”
Annika- “Thank you! Now, we need to make it down the other side of this mountain. Then we’ll make camp.”
After some effort the girls finally made it down the mountain.
They found a perfect to spot to set up camp in the woods and they made a fire.
Saige- “You know- plain bread isn’t actually all that bad. I thought for sure I would gag!”
Annika laughed- “Yes, I thought you would, too. I would, however, rather eat a nice home cooked meal after this hard day of climbing.”
Saige- “Yeah, I would, too.”
Annika- “Did you hear something?”
Saige- “Yes, I did..”
Annika- “Ssh! Something’s coming!”
What do you think they heard? Is it just their imagination? Or could it be a person or an animal? Find out in Part 2 coming tomorrow! π
~Jaclynn~
P.S. How did you like the photostory being done this way? π
Hehe! I understand completely! Sometimes it’s just too hard to make stuff perfect. π
Those hoods look really funny on them. π Did you make them?
Well, personally, I think it is an animal. But, you know, it could be a person too. π Considering things, it probably wasn’t their imagination. π
I didn’t really mind the difference. π I mean, I’m sure the other way takes longer, and if doing it this way means more posts or posts taking quicker, then I’m fine with it! π
~Christian Homeschooler
P.S. Have you voted yet? π
Um- I don’t think that’s very nice of you to say that they look funny. That is very offensive to me and my crochet. I would appreciate it if you would keep those things to yourself and not comment anything rude like that. Also think if you had written something like that to someone else. That could cause a big problem on here and I don’t want anything like that. Thank you.
You never know (but you’re probably right!)!
Hehe! Well, I’m not going to do it like this all the time, but maybe I will if I just really want to post something! π
~Jaclynn~
P.S. Yes, I have. To keep it fair I didn’t vote for anyone I knew or was my friend, so I voted for #62 π
Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it in a bad way. They look real warm for the mountains and such. Why aren’t they wearing coats? Sorry!
Hehe! Well, I just like posts.
~Christian Homeschooler
PS. Yeah, that makes sense. π
It’s ok- I forgive you π
I would have them be wearing coats, but I don’t have any π
It’s alright π
LOL! Yes, I know- I like posts, too! I like to just go through and read all of my photostories and such- it’s fun- Hehe! π
~Jaclynn~
P.S. I’m glad you understand π
Thank you soooo much. Sometimes I can be so thoughtless. π π
Oh, well, that seems like something that you could crochet-it would look great crocheted-cozy and all. π
Thanks!!!! π
Hehe! That’s funny! Sometimes I like to look at old AGfan posts that I’ve never seen before, but it is kind of hard to find the posts that I’ve never seen because I’ve looked at old posts before. π
~Christian Homeschooler
P.S. No problem!! π
You’re welcome! And it’s ok π
Yeah, I tried before, but it didn’t come out very good..LOL! I do need to try again, though. I think I need to make it in seperate pieces- and not all one piece except for the sleeves- hehe! π
You’re welcome π
LOL! I used to do that, too!
Hehe! Yeah, it is hard π
~Jaclynn~
P.S. π
I totally get how you can’t get everything perfect, especially if your dolls are mountain climbing!
Did you make the hoods? For some weird reason they don’t look like they were crocheted to me, they almost look kinda fuzzy, did you use a special yarn?
Hmm… I think it’s an animal, like a bear, or maybe sometime harmless, like a mountain goat! Hehe! π
I like it this way, I think it’s just as cute when you don’t get everything set up as when you do have everything set up! π
~Carli
Hehe! Yeah, it’s pretty hard π
Yes, I made them. It was yarn called Angel Hair- the yarn itself is fuzzy- it’s supposed to be that way π
Hehehe! π
Aw, thank you! π
~Jaclynn~
π
Oh okay, I think I’ve seen something like that now that you mention it. It was perfect for the hoods!
π
You’re welcome π
~Carli
I thought so, too π
~Jaclynn~
I bet it’s a fellow mountaineer!!!:) or a dog?:) idk!:) those hoods look cozy!:)
Yeah, well now you know what it is since you made me play the guessing game with you! LOL! π
Thank you π
~Jaclynn~
I like the buttons, it makes a nice touch
Thanks! I think it looks nice, too π
~Jaclynn~
The hats are really sweet! It is really good for a chilly day that is to warm for a winter coat! I really like the yarn!
It was really cool to see how you use your imagination! I use it that way to!
Maybe I will pretend that they live on the prairie and have no electricity, And find all of their food!
Off to play : )
Thank you!
Hehe- Yeah, that’s what I was thinking π
I’m glad you liked it! Really? That’s great!
Hehe! You have no idea how many times I have played something like that! I’ve played it so much because it’s just so fun!
Something I loved to play is that I’m Laura Ingalls Wilder and we’re all out in our wagon (going or coming from somewhere) and then a blizzard hits! And then we crash our wagon and we can’t find Almanzo or Pa. We find an abandoned cabin and we have to stay there for a day or two and Pa and Almanzo rescue us by digging away the snow. It’s so much fun! LOL! π
Okie-dokie! Have fun! π
~Jaclynn~
P.S. Still reading The Hobbit? π
OOH that sounds fun! SOO CUTE!
P.S. Yep! I have had so much going on I was not able to read anymore but I will try tonight/tomorrow!
Hehe! Thanks! It is a lot of fun! π
~Jaclynn~
P.S. Yay! π
