Doll Hair
Customizing Weston!
Today I’m going to show you how I went about making Weston! Basically all I had to do was re-wig him and boy! was it hard!
So here are my supplies (minus the wig, of all things I forgot to bring out! XD ). I bought a Julie doll on eBay recently for about $40 – luckily she came in great condition! I had been searching and bidding on Julie dolls for a long time, but they always ended up getting too high in price. You can imagine my delight when I won her! π
Julie’s hair was pretty ratty, so the first step I took in preparing to re-wig was brush out her hair, misting it with water to help get the tangles out π
This is how it looked after I brushed it out for a while. I wasn’t too concerned with getting it absolutely perfect, but I at least wanted to get it looking nicer than it did π
A lot of hair came out… And tons more was all over me. XD
After brushing out her hair, I grabbed my Magic Eraser and started scrubbing her skin. Magic Eraser really works wonders!
Here’s the Eraser after I finished cleaning. Not too bad!
Β
Then I grabbed the spoon and started pushing near the back of her neck. Ugh, it was so hard. In this picture it’s actually my mom doing it – my thumb was hurting from pushing so hard, so we took turns XD She helped loosen it up and then I took over. After I got most of it done, I let her do the rest cause my hand was killing me XDΒ
Also, you can see that Julie had her ears pierced. I was worried about the holes showing at first, but I’m so relieved that the wig covers them up π
Here she is without her wig! I don’t mind telling you, I felt evil as I was removing her wig. But knowing that I was gonna have an adorable new boy doll afterward really helped motivate me to keep going!
The wigs are glued on all around the edge of the head and right at the top.
Just thought you might wanna see the back of the head XD IT LOOKS SO WEIRD!! XD
And TA-DA! Here’s Weston! I didn’t end up gluing his wig on just because it fit so perfectly without it. I’m not worried about it coming off at all and it’s not like I’m gonna be a crazy person with his hair, so it should totally be fine without it π
I was surprised that it actually didn’t take as long as I thought it would to re-wig him. Again I’ll say, though, it was painful! My thumb was literally raw that whole day and each time it touched something it hurt. Not fun. XD But yeah, you’ve really gotta jab into the edge of the wig with the spoon and press up, trying to lift it and separate it from the head. I also forgot to mention, I put Julie’s hair in a bun so it would be easier to work with π
If you have any questions about something I maybe forgot to mention, I’d be happy to answer them in the comments! Don’t hesitate to ask π
Have you ever re-wigged a doll?
Have a great day!

Frozen Fever~ A Photoshoot Of “Elsa”
The title of this post can mean two things for me:
1. That I have Frozen Fever- I’m so obsessed π
2. That I’m SO EXCITED for the new Frozen Fever short!!!!! π
Ever since I saw what Elsa’s new dress looked like, I knew I had to get started on making it! I finished it and listed it in my Etsy shop today, and now I’d like to show you all how it turned out! π
The little pink dots are to represent super tiny flowers π
These shoes go so great with this dress!
My absolute favorite part, is the cape!!! I just love how it turned out!! π
“Beautiful! Powerful! Dangerous! Cold!”
I had such problems with the hair. I literally worked on it for over an hour trying to figure out how I used to do it! I ended up doing something completely different LOL!
“Go enjoy the sun and open up the gates.”
Elsa finally has control of her powers π
So, what do you think of my dress?? Are you excited for the Frozen Fever short, too?
Oh, and on the left sidebar of my site, there is a little box that shows all of the items in my Etsy shop. Click on my new Elsa dress to go see it! π
Have a great rest of your day!! π

No More Braid!
Yep, today I finally decided to take out Riven-Delle’s braid! I think Emma kinda inspired me… π
So, I know I already did a photoshoot, and that Riven-Delle has been shown a lot, and that I’ve been doing a ton of photoshoots lately, but since I took out her braid- I HAD to take pictures of her hair styled! LOL! I will try to get another fun post up tomorrow! π
So, I am a little annoyed because she has a really random wavy section of hair now, but I’m gonna try to make it go away! π
Here’s the other side of her head – Aah.. So much better! Even though the wave is annoying, I’m still happy that I can actually DO her hair! π
Doesn’t the lighting in this picture look all fire-y? It doesn’t look that way outside, but there is a fire nearby and it smells pretty strong!
I love how you can get so many different pictures with the same pose! π
I really like how this picture came out! π
Well’p, that’s all! I hope you enjoyed the photoshoot! π
Would you rather keep Grace’s hair in the braid, or take it out?

More Of The Beautiful Jenna :)
Okay, so the wind stopped, it was still light outside, and I had done a pretty hair style on Jenna, so I went to outside to take another photoshoot! π
This hair style is so pretty! I actually wore my hair like this and thought it would be really cute on dolls! So of course I tried it on Jenna π
I think it looks kinda elvish π
I love the trail of fruit behind her π
Just walking along π
Since I forgot to take a picture of the shirt included with the Bright Stripes Outfit, Jenna was kind enough to unbutton her blazer so I could take a pic of it, despite the cold π
I really like this one! I love the light on the trees in the background π
Jenna says, “Bye for now, everyone! I’ll be back tonight!” π
Which picture was your favorite?

A First Mini Cutie
Not too long ago, when I was at Target, I found that Our Generation had come out with some new Mini dolls! I surprisingly found myself in love with Mini Sienna and she ended up coming to live with my doll family π
Sienna is warming her cold little hands at the rather large fireplace.
I have personally never cared for the AG Mini Dolls, but the OG ones are just so adorable!
Sienna has such a sweet little face and her eyes are just so pretty!
A side view of Sienna to show her beautifully long ponytails π
Sienna’s shoes are so cute and the quality of them really makes me think of Barbie shoes- the ones you would put on the little Kelly or Tommy dolls! I really love the rose and the tights are also a very nice quality.
Sienna’s vest is probably my favorite part of her outfit! It’s very soft and just so adorable! The shirt and skirt are also very nice.
She also comes wearing an adorable flower headband. I just love the little rhinestone in the middle!
Sienna is a very nice doll and everything about her is a very nice quality and I would definitely recommend these dolls. The Our Generation Mini Dolls are sold for $9.99 at Target- a great deal! I was really happy to be able to add her to my doll collection π
Do you have an OG Mini Doll? What are your thoughts?

Charming Caroline~ A Photoshoot
So, I have a confession to make. I have always had a lot of trouble with styling Caroline’s curls- ever since I got her, and apparently I was using way too much water in her hair (yes, dumb me. I just had in my head “water helps” so I used a ton) and it made her hair smell really bad and the ends got all dried out. And before I knew it- she didn’t have anymore beautiful long curls. Just long wavy-ish hair. This has been bothering me for a long time and I was thinking about sending her to the Doll Hospital, but then I had the idea of trying to wash her hair, so the smell would go away. And so we did that recently and it worked wonders! And now, I have a fresh start with her and I can give her two different hair styles. One being natural, which is long curls, and the other is long wavy hair. Each way looks beautiful!
Now, in celebration of my “new” Caroline- let’s get on with the photoshoot! π
I love the shadowing of this picture π
I LOVE how the color of her eyes go so well with the pool! π
Aren’t her curls so pretty?!
Is it just me or does she look super country-ish right here? π
Now onto the edited pictures! π
I think this effect is so cool!
And this one π
Okay, this is seriously probably my favorite picture of Caroline that I have ever taken!! π
So pretty π
Do you have or want Caroline?

Kanani’s Photoshoot~ Featuring A New Hairdo!
Today, I just really wanted to take some pictures outside of one of my dolls. So I looked around and thought I’d use Kanani. After all, she isn’t on here very much and she’s never had a photoshoot, so it worked out great! π
“Aloha, everyone! I have a question for you, is it 90 degrees where you are right now? Cause it’s spring, right? Shouldn’t it be about 70 degress?! WHY is it 90 out here?! That’s just not right! Okay, I’m going on strike! Lissie, Rebecca, where are you?? I need your help!! Oh, sorry. I got a little carried away.” π
“Isn’t my hair pretty? Mommy was playing with our hair recently and made this cute style. I think it’s so cute!”
Hey girls! If you want to do Kanani’s hairstyle here’s how to do it:
1. Start off by making a high ponytail.
2. Separate the hair above the ponytail holder. Now pull the ponytail up and push it through the gap and pull down.
3-4. Keep making a ponytail and repeat step 2. You can add pretty hair elastics or a hair clip or both to make it really pretty! π (Let me know if you have any questions/need help doing the style)
“Peek-a-boo! Hee hee!” *Note from Kanani: Do you see that little bug on my forehead? Ew!!*
“Well, it’s time for me to head inside. I hope you enjoyed my photoshoot! Enjoy the rest of your day and keep cool!”

Kaya’s Photoshoot
Is it raining where you live? It’s been raining ALL day today! And yesterday we had LOUD thunder, crazy wind, and pouring rain! I liked it all except for the thunder. I do not like thunder π
Anyways, let’s start the photoshoot!
Kaya’s horse Steps High arrived yesterday! Kaya is so happy to be reunited with her horse! And I’m sure Sparks Flying is glad to be near his mommy again π
There’s nothing sweeter than the strong bond between a girl and her horse <3
Steps High is an absolutely beautiful horse!! I highly recommend her!
Okay, doesn’t Kaya look SO cute in the Frosty Fair Isle Outfit?! I think she looks so pretty π
I’m sure you also noticed that I took out Kaya’s braids. Her hair is almost as long as Kanani’s and it is the softest hair EVER!!! I am obsessed with her hair π
See how beautiful her hair is?? Did I mention it’s the softest hair ever?? I literally can’t stop touching it! It’s like I’m petting her hair! π
My beautiful Kaya π
Of your dolls, who do you think has the softest hair?

My Review of Caroline Abbot
I’ve noticed that since Saige was released there hasn’t been alot of talk about our newest Historical Character-Caroline.Β I want to give her some attention andΒ since I have her I decided to do a review about her! Ready? Let’s get started!
Something I really like about Caroline is her eyes! They’re a very light blue. A bit aqua-marine actually! They’re very pretty! I alsoΒ loveΒ her face mold! There seem to be a few dolls with the same one. I know Felicity has it for sure! Anyways, she just has the sweetest face! Although- All of them do π LOL!
Now what I LOVE is her hair! Look at that! It’s so long and curly! And it’s also very light. It can be a pain though because to keep her hair looking nice you have to pick it a lot! Yes, use the AG Sparkly Hair Pick! Do NOT brush!!! I also highly recommend spritzing it with water. It gets it smooth π
Now I’ll review her Meet Outfit and Accessories!
Here’s her dress. I absolutely love her dress! It’s a light pink with some medium pink trimmings. It’s long and I love the style! If AG ever made her dress for girls- I’d get it! It’s so pretty!
The waistband looks like a tied ribbon but it’s actually just part of the dress! It’s all embroidered so nice and neat. This is part of what makes the dress pretty!
The cute little sleeve with a ruffle at the edge π
Look at that tiny shoe!!! I love AG’s shoes! They all look so realistic. And the socks that she comes wearing are probably my favorite out of all the others that I have! They’re nice and thick- just like real ones! The shoes are easy to slip on, too!
Ok, this is one of my favorites in her entire collection!! This bonnet is SO pretty and very Easter-ish πΒ The flower is so big and pretty! I love the colors and everything about it! I was so excited when I first saw this bonnet cause I have always wanted one like this for myself! And now- my dolls could have one!
Here’s her pouch, and once again- all embroidered! The colors are so pretty! And the style is really cute! In my opinion though- AG could’ve made the ties a bit shorter.
Emboridered on the top of the bag says, “Caroline Abbot 1812” So cute!
Lastly is her spinning top! It really works and it actually is good forΒ people! LOL!
Her colors are so pretty-Β Β she is so pale and I love that about her! It’s unique from any Historical Doll AG has done! I recommend Miss Caroline Abbot 100%! But I also recommend her for older girls- at the ages 8 and up. I don’t believe that girls younger than that should get her. Caring for her hair can be a challenge and it takes practice. If the child is younger than the age I suggested and really IS capable of caring for her then that would be fine π
Hope you enjoyed the review!!!
~Jaclynn
