Colonial Julie~ A Photoshoot
Hey guys! I hope you’re having a great week so far π I was very busy today, but this evening I looked outside and decided that the lighting was great for a photoshoot, so I grabbed Julie and headed outside to take some pictures. I hope you like them! I am personally very fond ofΒ them π
IΒ love this picture so much!!! At first I was frustrated with the wind, but then I realized I could sorta work with it to get some good pictures! π
This is my other favorite picture! π
That’s the end of this shoot! I hope you all enjoyed them! π
Do you think Julie makes a good colonial girl?
~Jaclynn~
Julie is GORGEOUS! Her hair looks so new and shiny!!! Great pics!
I was gonna ask, I’m planning on getting MyAG #47 this weekend (dark skin, brown eyes, dark brown straight hair) and I was wondering if you had any name suggestions. Thanks!
I agree! I absolutely love her! π Thank you! π
Oh, I’m so sorry, but I am really terrible at thinking up names. I’m sorry, I wish I could help you π
But congratulations!! She’s such a cute doll! π
~Jaclynn~
Oh that’s okay! I was thinking either Iris or Nora. Do those sound good?
Thanks! I’m so excited to get her!
Oooh, yeah! I think I like Iris best for her, but I know whatever you choose will be great! π
I bet! Getting a new doll is always so exciting! π

Pretty photos! Julie doesn’t exactly strike me as colonial because of her hair, but I think she looks good in Felicity’s dress. It’s pretty on her. π

Thank you! π
Yeah, I feel like she looks really pretty in purple π
~Jaclynn~
She does, in fact, make a great colonial girl…..from the back she kind of resembles Elizabeth, Felicity’s friend! LOL! π
~Bella~ π
Oh, yeah! I can see that! π
~Jaclynn~
I love the pictures, Jaclynn! Julie is beautiful. π So cute. I love the combination of brown eyes and blond.
Thank you so much! I do, too!! It’s one of my favorite color combos! π
~Jaclynn~
Julie looks stunning in purple.
I agree π
~Jaclynn~
Julie looks great in Felicity’s meet dress! π I never would’ve thought to put colonial clothes on her, but I really like the look. π

I think so, too! Yeah, it’s fun to see how good modern dolls can look in historical outfits! π
~Jaclynn~
Great photos! If you braid her hair and put one of Felicity’s mob caps on Julie, she’d be ready to celebrate the 1976 Bicentennial. I remember dressing as a colonial and walking along Main Street. We were the Liberty Belles.
Thank you! Oh, my gosh that is so cool that you did that! π
~Jaclynn~
Julie makes and excellent colonial girl! All she needs is a bonnet or straw hat. π
You’re right! I just decided to skip on a hat because I wanted her pretty hair to show more π
~Jaclynn~
So pretty! The purple brings out just a really beautiful thing in Julie!
Thank you! I think so, too! π
