Felicity Takes A Stroll Through The Park- A Photoshoot
It wasn’t too hot out today, so I took my kids to the park. Felicity wanted a little photoshoot 🙂

So is the Sunny Park Scene your favorite? I assume it is because you got it. My favorite probably has to be the Winter Scene-that one would be great for when my dolls go out in the snow. 🙂
But I like, never ask for things for Christmas. I guess it is a fine thing to do, but we have never done that. It is kind of foreign to me. hehe! 😉

LOLOL! Yes, it is good quality. But like some of the reviews said- it’s a little out of focus in the backgrounds, but that doesn’t bother me. It’s still good quality and a GREAT deal! 😀

I know, right? AG keeps retiring the prettiest dolls… one day I’d like to add Felicity to my doll collection, if I can find her for under 200 dollars in good condition 😛
Actually, I meant that it focuses more on the doll if it’s like that, because it’s not focused on the scenery 😉
But you’re right, retired dolls do need more attention than newer dolls, I try to spend as much time with Kanani as possible 🙂
Well, if you want her, you should get her. She is a beautiful doll and would make a great addition to your doll family. Every time I see her on AGF, Liz makes her look so beautiful. Maybe you could look for some reviews on her, to learn about other people’s experience with Samantha. And also, consider getting a doll that needs TLC, like if she has matted hair, you could wash and condition it and give her a Dounty Spritz, and she’d probably be as good as new 😀
Oh I know, it makes me kinda sad looking at that scene, since the cold days are a’coming, for me at least.

Yeah, that’d be a good idea, but the main thing I’d be worried about is if one of her legs wasn’t attached, then I’d have to restring her, and I don’t want to do that, I’d feel like I was killing her! 🙁 😛
Yeah, they are adored, because of their beautiful hair, and their gorgeous complections, etc. But there are a few newer dolls that I don’t think are THAT cute, sometimes I think they’d look better with a differant face mold 😛

Oh, I get that!! I hated having to un-stuff one of my Build-A-Bears and when some would get holes in their or wherever- I would get SO sad!! Just imagine if I went through that with one my “babies”!! Waaaah!! LOLOLOL!! 😀 😛

My Kanani’s was like that, too until I finally figured it out! Squirt it (kinda alot) and brush until there are NO knots. Then do my Saige Curling Technique! The curls I got were so beautiful!! You should try it and see if it works for you 🙂

Last year I did. Before that I never did anything. I don’t actually buy them, though. I just make them things, wrap them, and put them under the tree. And I do Christmas morning with them on Christmas Eve because on the actual day I’ll be too busy and the rest of the week I’ll be playing and enjoying my gifts 😀 😛

LOLOLOL! I understand that! One time I had to unstuff Kanani to tighten her limbs, and I was crying! I finally called my mom in to help me, it was so bad that after I had put the head on I put Kanani in bed and then went out and watched some TV then I came back in and dressed her. But she’s all better now! 😀
I know! I LOVE the MG facemold, and they haven’t used it since! Here’s a list of all the face molds that have more than 1 doll:
Classic mold: 59
Josefina mold: 10
Addy mold: 9
Jess mold: 6
Sonali mold: 4
and all the rest have just one doll. But this is including retired dolls too, so that adds up a little bit more.
I do too! It looks so Asian, but it doesn’t look weird. And her eyes are gorgeous too! 😀
I know! But AG wants it that way so they can get more girls to keep coming back for more dolls! So if you went to the AGP and got Kaya (random) and on your way out you saw the cutest MAG and you came back later in the month to get it, then you get her and you see another doll you want and you come back again! But this isn’t it reality if you don’t live close enough to an AGP 😛
I know the feeling, it’s kinda weird, it not being the same head and all, but it’s either that or I send her to a girl who will rewig her with a Kanani wig, but I’d have to buy that, and I’d be trusting a girl with my doll, who I’ve never even met before!
I tried it, and it didn’t work because the girl who owned Kanani before me brushed her hair with a regular brush instead of the AG doll brush. So that took the curls away, and left the bottoms of her hair dry and frizzy. So I think I’m going to do a dounty spritz or dounty dunk on her hair, but I’m going to experiment on my horses first, since their tails are kinda frizzy 🙂

Yeah I did it last year, but I didn’t do it the year before. I bought some of the stuff, because I was in the AGP and I got 2 outfits and those turned out to be gifts, and I got 2 mini dolls that also turned out to be gifts, and I made the rest 😀
This year I think I’m going to ask for mini Saige, and that might be Saige’s Christmas present, and I’ll make the rest probably 😀

I know! And some people do not like her face mold. I’ve read comments about it on AGFan (on the preview post of them) and it was really sad. I think it’s so sweet and adorable! 😀

Oh I think you would like her! She’s definately one of my favorites, I LOVE the pincurls, and the curly hair! And one think I like is she looks kinda like the BTs with dark skin, curly hair, and brown eyes, so if I ever get them, I would make them Cece’s younger siblings! 😀

Well, I’m not really dying for any one right now, but I like a few MAG’s, Kaya, and Cecile. I think Kaya has a really sweet face and Cecile is so pretty! 🙂

I did some of the camp doll diaries stuff, but I was traveling a lot this summer, so I was away from my dolls a lot. I really like Cecile too, but I’m worried I would mess up her hair!
I saw a picture of the actress who plays the new girl of the year, and I thought she looked a lot like Jade Pettyjon, who played McKenna. I hope this doesn’t mean that the doll will look like McKenna too, because if she does I probably won’t get her because I already have two dolls with that hair color.

Yes, My AG 39, Lexi. She has McKenna’s hair and eye color, just a different face mold. She is like a mix between McKenna and Emily. I’m hoping they will be more creative, like they were with kanani. Do you have any of her collection? I just have the doll.

I liked he aloha outfit a lot too, especially the little bracelet that matched the necklace kanani came with! I also really wanted the party outfit. I liked the blue dress and the headband. I almost got it when we went to the american girl outlet in Wisconsin one summer. They have lots of retired outfits.

Yeah, it’s in Oshkosh, WI. It’s mostly clothes with some furniture. No dolls, but everything is super low priced. I got Cecile’s bed for $65 because the mattress was faded. A lot of the stuff there is returns or overstock, so some outfits aren’t complete and some furniture is damaged. A lot of the beds were broken, but I guess I got lucky! LOL!
I’ve heard they have dolls their occasionally, but it is very rare.
Oh, that’s really far from me. 🙁
