Let’s Go On A Picnic!

It was such a nice day out that a few of the girls decided to go out back and have a picnic!
image
“Here’s a good spot!” Felicity said who took charge of “picking the spot”.

“Whew! I’m glad you finally picked a spot! This basket is heavy!” Kirsten said.

image
“Who knew it was so hard to lay out a picnic blanket?” Saige said quite surprised, and Felicity just giggled.

image
Kirsten offered to take out the paper plates, cups, water, and food.

Yummy food!

image
Saige just loved her cheese sandwich!

After a delicious lunch and lots of talk and laughter it was time to go back inside.
“Well, at least the basket isn’t as heavy as before!” Kanani said and everyone laughed.

Have you or your dollsΒ ever been on a picnic?

  • Well… my dolls went on a picnic two days ago. LOL! I liked the post! πŸ™‚ But I have a question-did you take those photos in a different part of your house or something? Because it seems that the light is different.

    • LOL! Yes, they did! Did they ave a good time?
      Hehe! Thank you πŸ™‚
Yes, they were taken in our kitchen/dining room area (they’re connected in one big room). I usually take pics in our living room or my bedroom. The reason I took pics in the kitchen is because we have green carpet so it could look like grass- hehe! πŸ˜‰
Also, one of the reasons that the light looks different is because my mom edited the pics πŸ˜‰

      • Oh yes they did! Josefina grilled the steak(she loves grilling). They also had chips, salad, carrots, celery, cucumbers, bread, potato fries, sweet potato fries, and I can’t remember if there was anything else! For a snack, all of the girls chose either an ice cream cone, a snow cone, or a Popsicle! πŸ™‚
Okay! That makes sense! At first I thought that maybe you took the pictures outside, but then I figured not because then you probably wouldn’t have used that background. πŸ˜€ Yeah, and also, I think the light looks good, because it looks more like it is outside. πŸ™‚

        • WOW! What a feast! It all sounds so good! πŸ˜€
Did you make all of the food?
Yeah, I think it looks good, too! I usually don’t like it when my mom edits pics because sometimes everything looks all fake- but this time it made it look more realistic πŸ™‚
          ~Jaclynn~

          • Yes, we made all the food-except for some of the steaks came from the Doll Dining book. A lot of them didn’t. πŸ™‚
Yes, it did! I think they turned out great! πŸ™‚

          • That’s awesome!
I LOVE the steaks from that kit! They’re so cute πŸ™‚
            ~Jaclynn~

  • Also I noticed that the shirt that Saige is wearing looked like something from Springfield. Am I right?

  • Okay, if I am observant, I guess I will say that I think Felicity is wearing a Bitty Baby shirt? πŸ˜€

    • LOLOL! Yes she is! Well, a tunic- hehe! πŸ™‚
      ~Jaclynn~

      • I thought so! Oh- I guess actually, it is a Bitty Twin thing. πŸ˜€ Do you have both of fall outfits for the Bitty Twins?

        • Hehe! Yes, Bitty Twin πŸ™‚
          Yep, I do!
          ~Jaclynn~

          • Wow! You must like your Bitty Twins! Or are they cheaper than the 18″ doll outfits? And so since the BT outfits for the bigger dolls, you would rather have them?

          • Of course I do! Hehe πŸ™‚
Um- they can be cheaper or about the same price.
No, I’d rather get the 18″ clothes, but since I don’t have a lot of modern clothes I use my BT outfits for them πŸ˜‰
            ~Jaclynn~

  • I am glad you think so!
Yeah, they are pretty good. But do you know what? I made the other steaks by cutting out a picture of a steak from a flier, and then gluing it onto cardboard. They turned out great! πŸ™‚

  • Jaclynn:
I am so excited about it too! SHRIEK! πŸ˜€ That would be great! Other readers can do it too! πŸ™‚
    Okay! I’ll do that sometime!

    • YES!!! I want to start making stuff right now but I’m not sure if I have all of the supplies… AAAH! LOLOLOL! πŸ˜€
      ~Jaclynn~

      • Oh, well, I used card board for the signs instead of Popsicle sticks. Although, the big sign doesn’t really stand up, nor do the little signs that I made. I would say, just use what works for you!

        • Yeah, we don’t have cardboard either.. Oh, well πŸ™‚
          ~Jaclynn~

          • Oh really? Not card board boxes? No covers of note books? NO card board? Wow! We have a whole desk drawer filled with cardboard!

          • Well, we have priority mail boxes but my mom needs them for when she ships stuff. Nope and nope! LOL!
Wow! Well, that’s cool! Hehe! πŸ™‚
            ~Jaclynn~

  • Oh, I guess you don’t have a lot of Just Like You/MAG clothes(or what ever you want to call them)?

    • No, I don’t. I only have one MAG outfit and a few pairs of pj’s. I also have an AG Place LA shirt for them, though πŸ™‚
      ~Jaclynn~

      • Oh. Well I guess you will soon enough. Right? You are going to buy the stuff for Annika?

        • Yeah, but I’m not gonna be able to buy as much as I wanted. I’ve lacked on my chores so I’l probably only be able to get one other outfit. Unless my mom wants to buy me one! LOL!
          ~Jaclynn~

          • I’m gonna have to get off now- my brother has to use the computer. Bye for now! πŸ˜€
            ~Jaclynn~

  • Bye, Jaclynn! I can’t believe you have no cardboard! πŸ˜€

  • My dolls love to go on picnics!! πŸ˜€ We just went on one for memorial day πŸ™‚

    ~ Lydia~

  • I don’t know if they have gone on a picnic. I’ll have to do it VERY soon!:)

  • It looks like they had a lot of fun! No, my dolls haven’t yet, but when the weather get’s nicer, then they probably will πŸ™‚
By the way, where did you get all that doll food? Or is it real food that has been cut into dolls sized slices?
    ~Carli

    • When they do I’m sure they’ll have a lot of fun πŸ™‚
I made it all! Thanks to the “Doll Dining” kit! I LOVE all of the food πŸ˜€
      ~Jaclynn~

      • Yeah, I think they will too!
Wow, that’s really cool! Did you use real food, or did you cut pictures our of adds or something like that?
        ~Carli

        • Well, the sandwich bread was made out of a corkboard, the cheese and veggie sticks fun foam, the fruit slices and the cucumbers were made out of fun foam and stickers that were included in the set πŸ™‚
          ~Jaclynn~

  • That’s great! πŸ™‚
