Modern Day Pirate~ A Photoshoot

The other day, my mom, my sister, and I went on a little shopping trip. My sister showed me this amazing Duster Jacket (as she is calling it) and I totally died over it!! It was too much money to buy just because and I didn’t really need it (but I really wanted it, so it felt like a need LOL!), so my mom bought it for me to give me for my birthday! So, I decided to make a doll sized version of it! 😀

Clara was my model while I was making it, and she looked SO adorable in it, that she got to model it for the photoshoot! 🙂

Do you like it?? I think it came out great! It has two pockets, and the sleeves are cuffed up with buttons, too! Don’t you think it looks so pirate-y? I totally felt like a pirate when I tried mine on! 😀

Aww, I love it!! Great job making it! How long have you been crotcheting for? (Sorry if I spelled that wrong ;)) I knit, and crotchet sometimes! 🙂

    i knit and crochet; i love crochet becuase its so easy to make shpes and do all sorts of stuff. but some time i enjoy knitting because it flexible and easier to work with in the end. jaclynn, how thick is yhe yarn you use for doll clothes??? sorry my typing i s so yucky!

      Yeah, crocheting is awesome 🙂 Well, for the coat used in this photoshoot I used Caron (I think) Simply Soft yarn, but normally I use Red Heart Worsted Weight 😉
