My AG Store!
OK, time to show you my set-up of an AG Store! It had to be really small and different than the others of course and I didn’t use my Bitty’s because I didn’t have room this time.
Here are the dolls and underneath (on the bunk under them) are the clothes that didn’t have boxes to be put in.
The boxed clothes, Berry Wheelchair, Baking Table, Baking Accessories, Saige’s Painting Set, Penny, and other care supplies.
Right outside my bedroom door was the perfect spot for all of my American Girl books, sets, and movies!
Here’s my register. I have some birthday stickers to hand out, American Girl receipts, “Featured Items” (hehe!), gift cards, and packs of cards that came with Felicity’s outfits!
What do you think of my store? Do/have you ever played American Girl Store?
I’ve made one with a hair salon before, too! But then things got moved around in my room so now I have no room to do that- hehe!

WOW!!! You are so creative!!! I would have never thought of something like that!! SO CUTE!!! I want to do that with my dolls but I did not keep most of the boxes… Do you have any ideas what I could do?? Right now my dolls are pretending they are in a penthouse!! Hehehe! I LOVE IT!! LOL! Thank you, Grace! Yeah, I had to keep telling my mom I would get rid of them AFTER I play AG Store! Hehe! Well, for the clothes/outfits that didn’t have boxes I just layed down in piles wih their complete sets.

wow!!!!! This is so cool! I bet is was really fun to make. 🙂 I noticed you had the Caroline 6-book set. Lucky! I wanted that so bad but my mom didn’t think I should get because it comes with the first book and I already own it because it came with the doll. I cant wait to go to the AG store soon for my birthday. I’ve been there before but not it a while now. I’m going when their playing the Saige movie at the store and with some birthday money I’m hoping to get Saiges sparkle dress.

Oh, yes, my mom bought it for me *for school* hehe! Yeah, that’s the problem. I like that the dolls come with a book but I wish they didn’t sometimes- because it’s not like you can sell it online for very much money if you get a double!
How fun! Are they doing a special event thing for her movie or something? I LOVE that dress! It’s so pretty! I just don’t really care for the boots. I hope to get that though- Saige needs a fancy dress! Hehe!

Lol my mom said the same thing! She didn’t care for the boots either lol! The AG historical books are great for school I think because have a lot of neat facts at the end of the book…. and of course they’re just fun to read! 🙂 Oh and yes on June 28th the gonna play her movie in the store and give out a free goody bag it said. So yeah I’m excited! 🙂

Well, their stuff is on the bunk under them and I tried to put them in line with the dolls. Plus a lot of the set-up is different than in real life. It’s kinda hard to do that 😉
No, I don’t. It takes up too much room so I usually save one box until I get a new doll and then I throw the out the old one. But when we cleaned our garage recently I had to get rid of Saige’s and Caroline’s I believe! Oh well :/
Oh, so just a basic doll store that sell all kinds of dolls and doll stuff? That’s a good idea! I’ll have to try that sometime 🙂
Well, I have to be the employee and the customer so first I’m the employee saying stuff like “Hi, welcome! Have you been here before?” and “How many dolls do you have?” And “Can I help you find anything?” And then I’ll be the customrer answering those questions, then they shop, then there’s the checking out, and yeah. It’s fun 😀

Right. 🙂 I don’t think we did that many times, though. Sometimes we would play Christmas. Like, someone’s the mom and the kids write wish lists, and then the mom gets stuff for them. Sometimes we used real stuff, and then other times we used the catalog for stuff.

That’s awesome! I LOVE playing Christmas with my dolls at Christmas time! November and December is my favorite time to play with them. It seems like all of my imagination just bursts out at that time of year- hehe! Last year was so fun cause I had a Christmas tree and decorations for them! AND I bought/made them presents 😀

Yep! I think it was just like a mini tree for adults! I got it at the thrift store for like $15! It was so awesome! And then I went to Hobby Lobby and bought some decorations anda tree skirt for it 🙂

Well, I sewed skirts, and I made a doll book, and a personal size chocolate pie. I also made a doll book. Basically, my dolls made gifts for the other dolls. 🙂

Well I made the cover and back out of card board and then I taped some pages in the book. And I printed out a image for the cover. The book is Ivanhoe. Have you heard of it? It is actually a big book in real life. 😉

So you have the whole Rebecca series, Molly series, Felicity series, Samantha series and Addy series, Kirsten series, Josefina series, and Caroline series. Wow! That’s a lot. We have the whole Felicity series and Josefina series. I think those are the only full series we have. But we have most of the Molly series, two Samantha books, some short stories, a Kit book, and a Kirsten book. I read the Rebecca series and the Marie Grace & Cecile series from the library. When did you get all you AG books? What kind of HC books do you like the best? The oldest kind, the middle kind or the new kind? I like the oldest kind the best ’cause-well, it is the oldest! 😀 Also, I think it looks the best. I don’t like the new covers very much at all. BTW, did you ever think about the fact that the Julie, Kaya, Rebecca, Marie Grace & Cecile, and Caroline books have the wrong titles? Like, they are supposed to be Meet__, ____ Learns a Lesson, ______’s Surprise, ____Saves the Day, and Changes for ___. They kept some of them, but basically they ruined it. That’s how I feel about it anyway. What do you think? And would like to know what anyone thinks about it, not just Jaclynn. 🙂

I have no idea. We’ve had like all of the original ones for as long as I can remember. My sister grew up loving AG and would read them so that’s why. We didn’t have the complete Felicity series though. We bought the rest a couple of years ago.
Ummmm- I’m not sure! I like them all for a different reason, I think. Hehe! I don’t like the artwork for Marie-Grace’s and Cecile’s books, yet I like the artwork for Saige’s, Mckenna’s, and Kanani’s. I think in the older books though, it looks a little more believable for how the doll looks.
Yes, I noticed that. I didn’t like that they changed the titles. Like the titles are still good but I liked how each and every one of the books for every doll had the same title. It just had something special about it 🙂
And, yes! Anyone can talk to anyone on here! You don’t have to just talk to me- make some friends! 🙂

Well, you are right-I do! 🙂 But you know, those AG books ARE kind of small. 😉 So they are probably something that I wouldn’t buy from Amazon. I really would like to read the McKenna and Saige books, though. I have read the rest of the GOTY, I believe, except for Lindsey.
Yeah, I noticed the first two books of that series were newer. 😉
Hey, I don’t like the art work for those books either! In fact, I think a lot of the pictures of Marie Grace look down right terrible!
Yeah, it is really too bad that they changed it. What does every one who read this think about the AG first(Marie Grace & Cecile)? I don’t think that it was very good!

I am talking about the fact that they never did anything like that before. Like two dolls-but neither one is the friend. And the books are NOTHING like they are supposed to be. There are only three about each girl, and there is no Christmas, birthday, nothing! Oh, and also, did you know that all the HC’s are supposed to have a 4 at the end of their date? Like, 1904 is Samantha, Kaya is 1764, Julie is 1974, and so on. They changed that too with Caroline and Marie Grace & Cecile. I wasn’t pleased about that. :/

Well, there’s a table top ironing board for dolls by Our Generation but it’s not that great.
It would be cool! Actually AG sells one in one of Kit’s set! I think it’s Kit’s Wash Day Set or something like that 😉
