My New American Girl Outfits- A Photoshoot and Reviews
Oh, my goodness! I LOVE all of my new outfits! I’m going to show you pics of my dolls wearing them and also do mini reviews! Let’s start with Kaya in the Purple Peacock PJ’s.
Okay, can I just say adorable?! Kaya look so pretty in purple and I have a feeling she’ll look good in a lot of dark colors. She also looks good in bright colors 😉
Here’s a close up of the shirt. When you just glance at it you can’t really tell that it’s peacocks on there, but when you get up close and study it, it is very noticeable. I think this shirt is really cute!
Here are the slippers. They are a lot different from the other slippers I have, being not as stiff. These ones are kind of floppy. They are very soft and oh, so cute! I rate this outfit 5 (out of 5) stars!
Now moving on to Saige in Saige’s Sweater Outfit!
I couldn’t resist putting her next to her Painting Set! She looks so cute!
This is actually a very pretty outfit and will be great for mix and match!
I love that the tank top has a cool design on it instead of being just plain. Something strange, is that it only velcros halfway down. The sweater is very soft, but can be a little difficult to style just right. Other than that, it’s perfect!
The sandals are adorable and will go with so many things! The jeggings are really nice, but since they are so tight, they are kind of hard to get on. Once you get the feet through they are easy to slip up 😉
I rate this outfit 4.5 (out of 5) stars.
Moving on to Annika in the Cozy Sweater Outfit!
Annika is SO excited to finally have this outfit! She had her eyes on this for quite a while (doesn’t she look so cute?!?) 😉
This sweater is very soft and easy to put on. I find it a little odd that this also doesn’t velcro all the way down the back.
This headband is so cute and easy to slip over her head as it is pretty stretchy.
The boots are adorable!! I love the little buttons on the side!
These boots were very hard to pull on over the pants. I was working with them for a long time until I finally got them on.
The leggings are very cute and easier to slip on than the ones in Saige’s Sweater Outfit.
I rate this outfit 4.5 (out of 5) stars!
Now, Caroline in the Frosty Fair Isle Outfit!
Ooooh, my gosh!! Caroline looks so beautiful in this outfit! Her light hair and eyes with this outfit just makes me die!
This has got to be the softest sweater EVER!! When I took it out of the box I was like “Oh, my gosh!! This SOO SOFT!!” I really want a sweater like this 😀
This is a really nice sweater and I absolutely love it! I have nothing negative to say about it!
These boots are amazing! They’re really floppy, but hard at the bottom. They are super easy to slip on. I love the little snowflake dangles (“Let it go!” LOL!)!!
The leggings are really cute, a tad hard to get on, but not too bad 😉
Okay, the headband is cute, but it is SO hard to get over her head! It’s not stretchy at all which makes it even harder to get on. AG should’ve made it stretchy, that would solve everything 😉
I rate this outfit 4.5 (out of 5) stars. If the headband fit better, it would be a 5!
Kirsten in the Western Riding Outfit!
Kirsten looks so sweet in this outfit!! I really love her in red 😀
The shirt is SO cute!! Look at the face on that horse!! It is so sweet! 🙂
The skirt is adorable! I love that it’s jean and that it has fringes!
The boots are so cowgirl-ish and cute! I just know that the girls will be wearing this outfit a lot when they take care of the horses 🙂
I didn’t even notice that this outfit came with a bracelet! How cute is that? I really like that it’s braided!
This outfit is 5 (out of 5) stars! No complaints at all!

I have Saige’s Sweater Outfit, and LOVE it to pieces!! It’s great for mixing and matching with her collection! I think the sweater would even look cool with her meet dress and boots! Oooh, I should try that soon!!
Btws, NEVER brush the dolls hair while Saige is wearing the sweater (I guess it’s pretty obvious, I didn’t think when brushing her hair with the sweater on 😛 oops!), it will snag.. 🙁
I think my favorite is Caroline. I really like the outfit, and I LOVE Caroline!!! Tehy all look good, though. 🙂 I have a question, though. Do most AG shirts of have velcro in the back? Because I figure they do, but I was just wondering. 🙂

I didn’t know you had Kaya. Is she new, or did I just miss something? I have the Cozy Sweater set, and the best part is definitely the leggings. They can go with so many things. Caroline definitely gets the rating of cutest for me, but Annika also looks very cute!

i think caroline or kirsten look best. it sounds so fun! my sister has kaya and she is very pretty. however, when she took her braids out, they got incredibly frizzy. i do not know if this is because she was older(pleasent company) or because thats just her… any ways have tons of fun!
I really like all of the outfits! I think I like Caroline best. Oh, and Congrats about Kaya! She is so pretty! Oh, can I have your opinion about something? I’m sorry if its off topic, but I pretty sure since its about dolls its ok. What is your advice for older girls that play with dolls, and other girls tease her and say she’s childish, and won’t stop? I asked Christian homeschooler for her opinion, but I thought I should have another.

If that is happening to you, I first want to say that I am so sorry. Some people are just rude 🙁
I say, don’t listen to them. They are just being mean and trying to make you upset. If those girls are your friends, I’d say they’re not being very good friends. A good friend doesn’t tease you and laugh at you for playing with dolls still, or anything for that matter. Dolls are for girls of all ages to play with and love! I know my friends thought I was weird for playing with dolls. Especially since I play with them like they’re my children. I didn’t let it bother me too much, though. I just thought, “I like dolls and I enjoy playing with them. It doesn’t matter if they think I’m weird (or childish in your situation)!” I’m gonna go on playing with and loving my dolls forever! It might also help to tell them about Liz over at AGFan or Char, Diana, Laura and Anna over at Doll Diaries! Liz is almost 20 and all of the other ladies are women with children. They still go to stores and by dolls and doll stuff! Once again, try not to pay attention to them! Don’t let them make you stop playing with your dolls! It’s something you love to do and you should be able to go right on doing it! 🙂

There was a girl at my school who always bullied me. I honestly just learned to not care. I love dolls. It’s my passion, and I don’t care whether people like them or not.

Honestly, I didn’t know anyone who liked dolls, so I just started asking some of my friends if they like dolls or not. Some of them just gave me a weird look, but most of my friends love dolls.

I don’t meen to jump into someone else’s conversation, but I completely agree with Jaclynn!
Just don’t listen to them, I was dealing with the same stuff, and even getting down on myself thinking, “I should act more mature.” Or “what will people think if I get another doll?” WHO CARES, I you Love it, then it doesn’t matter what people say!
And you’re not alone, there are tons of teenage girls that still play with dolls!!! 🙂
Keep playing with dolls, no matter what people say, and no matter your age!!!

Oh my gosh! Everyone looks SOO pretty and cute! Between your Elsa dress and now the Frosty Fun outfit, I desperately want Caroline! I added her to my ‘American Girl Dolls For Me’ list, which has the dolls I have (Kit and Molly), the ones I know I’m getting (Rebecca), the ones I really super duper want, (Samantha, Grace, Cecile, and Caroline), and retired ones I wish I could have, (Saige). Oh I see. I know it’s hard, you want to take the braids out, but then again you don’t. But you always can put them back in again. There’s a few videos on youtube showing people taking out Kaya’s braids, and it looks SUPER pretty! But it’s nice to see those ultra perfect braids as well. So let’s just say you took the braids out, would you straighten the hair, or leave it wavy?

Well, I got Samantha when I was 8-9 (I can’t remember)and when I was 10ish my sister gave me Kirsten. But I never really played with them that much, till I saw Liz’s site, and saw American girl doll videos on youtube, it made me want to play with my dolls more, and then about 2 years ago i decided to try to get more dolls, so I saved up and bought Felicity, now I am more “serious” about collecting AG dolls, and stuff! My American girl Doll wishlist: Rebecca Rubin, Caroline Abbott, MY AG #44, #55, the one with short blond curly hair and blue eyes (Idk the number). 🙂 Those are my top favorites!! 🙂

Lol, I was looking back at some of your old posts, and realized that this post includes all four of my dolls! Kirsten, #55, Saige, and Caroline. 😀 Though, I technically don’t have Caroline yet… I ordered her yesterday, and words can’t describe my excitement and happiness! She is so gorgeous, and I know that she’ll be even more beautiful in person. Her eyes are just… ugh. 😀
