New Outfits Made For Bitty Beanies!

I’ve been crocheting a lot lately since I have a craft fair in about one week. I thought it would be fun to share some of the things I’ve made with all of you 🙂

image

This is probably my favorite of what I’ve made! I LOVE Lord of the Rings- like I’m obsessed so I just had to make something to represent it for my dolls to wear! This is the Mirkwood Inspired Dress and Arwen’s Crown that she wears at Aragorn’s coronation. It’s not exact of course because you can only do so much through crochet- but I have to say that I got the chains hanging down really good!

This is the next best thing I’ve made! A Halter Top that ties in the back and a Hi-Lo skirt to match!  The Halter Top also has a butterfly sewn onto it 🙂

I think this is cute too! It’s a Holey Slouch Hat and matching Purse! The purse opens so you can put stuff inside, too!

I hope you liked seeing some of my new creations! If you’re interested in making an order just contact me through comments or email (using the “Contact Me” tab).
I hope you’re all having a wonderful day!! 😀

  • Those are great outfits! I am reading the first volume of the Lord of the Rings right now. I guess you watched the movie of it so you know what the outfit looks like? I LOVE those outfits in the second picture. They are adorable! Do you crochet stuff for your dolls and for selling, or just for your store?
Thanks for the post! I always like them! 🙂

    • Thank you! Hehe- Me too! I’ve read about 3 or 4 chapters.
Yeah, I’ve seen all of them and the Hobbit. LOTR is my all time favorite movie!
Thank you! I do both actually. Usually the first thing I make is for my dolls but I haven’t really been doing that anymore.
      You’re welcome! 🙂
      ~Jaclynn

      • Oh so you haven’t finished reading them yet? I have never really thought about what my favorite movie is.
Okay! I don’t know how you make something and then sell it! I would be like, I spent all this time working on this, why don’t I want it for myself?

        • No, not Lord of the Rings but I’ve read the Hobbit!
Hehe, well I spend all the time making it to sell- which gets me money. While keeping it for myself I’d just be losing money making things for myself, since I have to buy the materials 😉 That’s why I sell- also because I started keeping too much for myself so I decided to start a business- hehe!

          • Well that does make sense. But don’t your parent’s ever buy supplies for you? Like, birthdays?

  • Those are all so cute! I LOVE the colors! I have to learn to crochet some AG doll clothes pretty soon here. Hope you have a good day at the craft fair!
    ~Carli

  • I hope your craft fair goes well! Do you have to drive far, or is it local?
    ~Christian Homeschooler

  • Saige is so pretty! Who is the doll next to her? Is it Rebecca?
    ~Christian Homeschooler

  • cUTE!! I LOVE THE LORD OF THE RINGS OUTFIT! I LOVE THE CROWN! I LOVE THE HALTER TOP AND SKIRT OUTFITS TO! ESPICALLLY REBECCA’S! I ACTULLY LIKE THEM BOTH! HEHE! I WISH I COULD CROCHET LIKE THAT! BUT I ONLY KNOW HOW TO CROCHET SINGLE CHAINS BUT MY FRIEND MAKES JEWELRY FROM CHAINS FOR ME AND MY DOLL! SO I AM GONNA TRY THAT!

    loVE THE DRESS!

    • Thank you VERY much! Do you like Lord of the Rings too?
      Hehe! I like Rebecca’s too 🙂
That’s awesome! I hope it goes well for you!
      Thank you again 😀
      ~Jaclynn

  • Christian Homeschooler- Well sometimes my mom will buy me a skein of yarn but otherwise, no. I’d rather get toys, money, and stuff then crocheting supplies! Hehe! 🙂
    ~Jaclynn

  • You’re welcome! That’s good. How long did it take you to make that stuff?
    ~Carli

    • I don’t remember about the hat and purse set but it was probably a day. It all depends on how long I crochet and if I crochet at all! Hehe! But the dress took me a little less than a day and the crown just a little bit- like less than 45 minutes! The Halter top and Skirt I don’t remember- I was working on another top last night so I’ll try to figure that out for you ;)But you know it all depends on how much you work on it and the speed of your crocheting. Also when you make up a new pattern- something you’ve never made before- it always takes longer than it does the second time you make it 😉
      ~Jaclynn

  • What do your bitty twins do when your 18″ dolls steal their clothes? hehe!
    ~Christian Homeschooler

    • LOL! Well, I don’t have my 18″ wear the Bitty outfits when they’re around because that would start a big argument and fight! Hehe! Plus I don’t have a lot of Bitty clothes but I have a lot of toddlers so I need to make sure they have clothes to wear! Hehe! 😛
      ~Jaclynn

      • Well I am glad you make sure that they don’t fight! 😀 It seems to me that the bittys could fit in some of the 18″ clothes.

        • Yeah, well they fight everyday anyways! LOL! Hmm.. I think so! I kind of remember trying one of the dresses on them but I can’t remember.. Hehe!
          ~Jaclynn

  • Oh okay. Yeah, I’ve experianced that. The first time I crocheted a hat, it took me maybe an hour and a half, or two hours. But the more I tried it, the easier and quicker it got. So do you make your own patterns, or do you print\buy them?
    ~Carli

    • I mostly make up my own patterns. All of my outfits I made up, actually! The purse was kind of a pattern but not really. It was a pattern for a dishcloth or a granny square or blanket- something like that- I just made it small and turned it into a purse! But anyways, practically everything I’ve made and do make- I make the pattern for 😉
      ~Jaclynn

  • Oh okay, that’s cool. So do you ever use a book for projects, or does your mom teach you?
    ~Carli

    • Not really. I’ve only used a book once for one pattern! Hehe!
My mom taught me how to crochet a few years ago and she helps me if I can’t figure something out. Like I needed her help with the Halter and the Hi-Lo skirt. She’s the best 🙂
      ~Jaclynn

  • Hehe!
Oh okay, so she helps you with the more complicated things. My mom does stuff like that with me too- not with crocheting though. So how long has your mom been crocheting?
    ~Carli

    • Yeah, like if I can’t figure out how to make something work then she helps me 😉
I think she first learned when she was a kid- I don’t know how old. She was making things for us kids (when we were babies) for awhile and then she stopped. And then I think she picked it up again in 2009.
      ~Jaclynn

  • Oh okay! That would make sense. I’ve seen her Etsy shop, and she seems very talented. And you’ve been crocheting for three years right?
    ~Carli

  • I love that lord of the rings outfit

  • Awww these new outfits are SO adorable!!

    ~Madison

  • I love Lord of the Rings too! The outfit looks awesome! Great job!

    Adollable Dolls

    • That’s awesome! It’s my all time favorite movie/series! 😀
      Thank you, Katie 🙂
