Sick Rebecca Part 2

After church today, Saige and I went to visit Rebecca at the hospital before they did her tests. Rebecca would like to tell you what happened when we arrived;

The nurse knocked on the door and entered my room.
“You have some visitors, Rebecca.” She said. She’s a very nice nurse!

“Mommy! Saige! I’m so happy to see you! I’ve been so lonely in here.” I said, feeling empty inside, but glad to see my mommy and sister at the same time.

“Hi, Rebecca!”, Saige said, “How are you feeling?” She stroked my head.
“Alright- Just sad.” I replied.
“Hey, sweetie, we brought you some things to make you feel better.” Mommy said.
“What?” I asked, my spirits being lifted already.

I gasped! “My doll! Oh, thank you so much!!” I was so happy to have my doll back. “Could you help me into my wheelchair?” I asked. I wanted to look at everything better.

IMG_8105

“My shawl! This will help a bunch- it’s always so cold in here.” I said gratefully.

“Marie-Grace sent you her slippers. She said she could do without them until you come home.” Mommy explained.
“Aw, she’s so sweet! Tell her I said thank you!” I replied.

“I thought you might get bored in here, so I decided to lend you my drawing pad.” Saige said, a bit shy.
“Thank you, Saige! This will keep me entertained for a long time!” I said, and she smiled.

“Oh, Saige!! This is beautiful!! Thank you so much!!” I said holding up a painting that Saige had just finished.

“Do you really like it? I thought you could use some color in here to make you feel better.” Saige said.
“Oh, I do! You did a great job!” I told her.

Here I am with all my stuff to keep me busy. I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful and caring family!
Then the nurse walked in and said;
“I’m sorry to interrupt but I’m afraid visiting time is over. It’s time for Rebecca’s tests.”
Mommy replied- “Oh, I see. Thank you nurse!” Then she turned to me and gave me a hug. “We’ll be in the waiting room. We’re going to stay here until we find out what’s wrong with you. You’ll be just fine- I’m here and God is always with you.” And with that she gave me a kiss and left the room. Next thing I knew I was on my way to have my tests done. I couldn’t wait to find out what was wrong with me.

Hi, it’s Jaclynn again!
Poor Rebecca. What do you think is wrong with her? Will she need surgery? I don’t know yet. The doctor said the test results won’t come in until tomorrow. I’m so worried about my girl! 🙁
Stay tuned for part 3 coming up tomorrow!

  • Poor Rebecca! She has some nice sisters, though. 🙂

  • Poor Rebecca! I’m glad you and Saige went to visit her. God IS always with her.
Well, I won’t guess, but I will pray its nothing serious.
I understand that. All parents,- or friends are like that. When Kanani broke her ankle, Julie felt bad because she was there, so she helped her when she could. It was the same way when my friend broke her leg. I felt bad, but I felt a lot better when I helped her in any way I could. And it was worth it, it made our friendship stronger.
    ~Carli

    • I am too! Yes, He is!
I’m praying it’s nothing serious too.
      Aw, Julie sounds very nice!
That’s awesome and so sweet 🙂
      ~Jaclynn

  • Yeah, she’s the oldest, so she almost always feels responsible if anything happens- especially when I’m gone.
It is sweet, and what’s funny is, we weren’t friends before, but now she’s my best friend.
Have you ever broken a bone?
    ~Carli

    • That’s so sweet! Addy and Lissie are like that too. Addy’s the oldest and loves taking care of the babies. Lissie is the third oldest and loves taking care of everyone 🙂
      That’s awesome!!
No, I haven’t! I’m very lucky and happy about it too! And I’m very fragile so I would be in alot of pain! LOLOL!
      ~Jaclynn

  • It is sweet. Oh, Julie LOVES kids! I think she’d make a great babysitter one day. Although her sisters are a little too old to be considered ‘little kids’ she still is rather protective of them.
That’s nice, I haven’t either. You are lucky! My friend who broke her leg, has broken 6 bones so far, maybe 7. Haha! I think anyone would be in alot of pain!
    ~Carli

    • That’s awesome! I think Julie would get along good with my dolls, too! How old is Julie? Aww…. 🙂
Oh my gosh!! That’s so sad! Yeah, but I think I’d be in more pain. Like on St. Patrick’s Day when my brother pinched me- it stung for like 2-5 minutes! LOLOL!
      ~Jaclynn

  • Oh okay. Julie is 12, same as me.
I know! But sometimes she just wasn’t thinking, like when she danced on their hammock, the results…a broken arm. Or when she was on a rope swing and she tried doing a triple spin and crashed into a tree, the results..a broken toe. Ow! That sounds awful! Well now you won’t forget to wear green on St Patricks day!
    ~Carli

    • Ok- so I think she’s older than all of my dolls. Addy (the oldest) is about 11.
Oh my gosh!!! She needs to be more careful! LOL!
I know! Well, actually I WAS wearing green! I thought he wasn’t but he had something green in his pocket! So I pinched him and he had to pinch me twice! And then I pinched my mom but she found like th tiniest bit of green on her- pinched twice again! LOLOL!
      ~Jaclynn

  • Oh no!!! Poor Rebecca! 🙁 I think she might need surgery but probably not! She might just have allergies and ate peanuts or something!!!;)

  • Saige is such a pretty doll!
    ~Christian Homeschooler

  • I think she is the best GOTY yet. What do you think?
    ~Christian Homeschooler

    • Saige IS SO pretty! Hmm.. I don’t know! I’ve liked alot of them! Plus I have Kanani… She was really pretty, too! I love her hair! I think I liked almost all of them for different reasons. I never liked Mckenna though- no offense if you have her! LOL! Saige is awesome! I love her hair color with her blue eyes! 🙂
      ~Jaclynn

      • No offense taken, LOL! I don’t have her, and I liked when she was new, partly because she does gymnastics, I am not a big fan of her either.
        ~Christian Homeschooler

      • I like Gwen, too! Do you like her?
        ~Christian Homeschooler

        • Gwen? You mean Chrissa’s friend, right? Yeah, I do! She’s really cute! When I look at some of my past catalogs and see her I think “Aw, she’s so cute! If they had her I might consider getting her!” LOL! But then thinking realistically I probably wouldn’t! Hehe!
          ~Jaclynn

          • Do you keep all of your old catalogs?
I guess the post won’t be today. But that’s okay. I’m sure there was a legitimate reason.

  • Don’t forget about Nikki and Jess!;) they are really cool too!:)

  • Nikki and Jess are MY GOTY dolls. I love them both!:)

    • Hehe! I know! Nikki is SO cute! And I love Jess- I think it’s because she has Kanani’s face mold 😉
How’s saving up for Cecile coming?
      ~Jaclynn

  • Eh okay I guess

    • Yeah, I got my money from about 80 to around 60! I need to save up more! I’m thinking maybe after Hillside we could go have pur shopping spree! What do you think? Then if you get Cecile for your birthday, you could buy some of her outfits and other stuff too!
      ~Jaclynn

  • Oh okay.
Yeah, she has learned a little bit sense then. She was in crutches when she broke her leg for the WHOLE summer!
Hehe! I didn’t get to pinch anyone, everyone was prepared! I was looking around, and even some of our elders at church were wearing green ties! But not everyone was wearing green, some adults weren’t, but I wasn’t about to go pinch someone I hardly know! I’m too shy to do that.
    ~Carli

  • Christian Homeschooler- I keep ones I like. I’m not allowed to keep them all though. Sorry! It’s just gonna be a late post! I’m getting ready to post it right now, so don’t you worry 😉

Carli- That’s good! Aw, man! When my brother sprained his ankle he had crutches all summer too!
Haha! Oh, I totally get that! I wouldn’t do that either!
    ~Jaclynn

  • I dont exactly know. I really want to it’s just my mom doesnt know when we should do it if it should be in June when I get her and stuff. But it would be SUPER COOL if we could do it together!

    • In June? I thought you were getting her for your birthday! Or is it cause you’re saving up for her now?
I know! It would!!! And like whatever day would be best for your mom we could make be best for us! I know she’s busy.
      ~Jaclynn

  • Aw, that stinks! I felt bad for her because she couldn’t go play with the others, whether it was going in a creek, or in a old barn. It taught me an important lesson: don’t break your leg right before summer.
Yeah, I think that’d be embarrassing.
    ~Carli

    • I know! That sounds like SO MUCH FUN!!! Why can’t we have that stuff where I live? LOL!
      HAHAHA!! Good lesson learned 😉
      ~Jaclynn

  • Aww that’s sweet!:) yeah my birthday is soon but we might go to la later after June, but if we did do it in June I’d have more money to spend!!!:):):)

  • Aww Becca!!!!! It’s going to be OK!! :(:(:(

  • You mean going in a creek or in an old barn? Yeah, it is fun, EVERYONE at our church lives on acerage, so some have creeks, other old barns, and just recently I learned about some newborn kittens. Never a dull moment.
    Hehe!
    ~Carli

    • YES! It sounds AMAZING!!!
THAT’S SO COOL!! I’m gonna move where you live right now, ok? LOLOLOLOL!!! 😀
That’s seriously like my dream life! It sounds so peaceful and fun and amazing! HEHE! 😛
      ~Jaclynn

  • Oops, I meant acreage, not acerage.
    ~Carli

  • Hehe! OK! I’d be fine with that!
It is amazing, in the summer people invite other people over in our church, and at one house we play in their creek, old barn and woods, and others look at the farm life. It’s peaceful too, if you just want to talk to friends and not have any interruptions, its really enjoyable.
    ~Carli

  • It is nice. Hehe! That’s our church! No overalls or anything like that, but that’s our church. So what’s LOTP? Is it a TV series?
    ~Carli

    • LOLOL! That’d be SUPER country! LOL!
LOTP is Little House On The Prairie! I’m sorry it’s supposed to be LHOTP- not LOTP! LOL! TYPO! Hehe!
      ~Jaclynn

  • Hehe! Yeah, a little too country!
Oh okay! Its okay, I learned what it was anyways!
    ~Carli

  • Looking back through old posts – IN LOVE with Saige’s poncho and hat! Was it hard to make?
