Colonial Chanting Crickets~ A Photoshoot of the Beautiful Samantha (with a very weird & random title)
Hey Ho! Okay, first, I know the title is weird and extremely random, but I thought of the first three words that came to my mind that began with the letter “C” and just typed it, so that’s the strange reason behind the random title. XD
I’ve been feeling that Samantha has been lacking of attention lately, so I grabbed her, curled her hair, and headed outside for a quick photoshoot. I hope you enjoy the photos! π
I think Samantha looks amazing in white! I always like brunettes in white- it just flows so well, don’t you think? π
At least part of the title makes sense – she is dressed as a colonial girl after all π
Bouncy, flouncy, yippee ki-ay!
That’s all folks! I’m very tired… Hence the randomness in this post. I’m gonna go crochet and watch Anne of Green Gables now (the second one- my fave!!) π
Have you watched the Anne of Green Gables movies?

My GOTY Collections~ Grace Edition
Hiii! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted. There’s been so much going on, this is the first day I’ve stayed home in days! But, I’m here bringing you a new series on my blog! *celebrates*
After each GOTY doll retires, I will be showing you what I got from their collection. I’ll have to do a few this year since I have a few GOTY dolls, but I think it’ll be something fun to do and plus, it’s always fun knowing what people have in their doll collection, right? ;D
This is everything I got last year from Grace’s collection! Yep, it’s all clothes! While I did love her entire collection, I didn’t end up getting any of her accessories, which is totally fine! I loved her Baking Accesories, but maybe I can get them on eBay sometime π
Here is Annika modeling Grace’s Sightseeing Outfit! This is one of my absolute favorite outfits of hers – and probably just in general! I love the colors and the style- so, so cute!
And obviously, I got Grace (although she was renamed to Riven-Delle)! SHE IS THE MOST PHOTOGENIC DOLL ON EARTH!!!!! *dies*
Ahem. Sorry about that. But seriously, isn’t her hair amazing? Like, come on, those highlights! :O (also, I couldn’t find her charm bracelet at the moment, so that’s unfortunately not shown…)
Here’s Caroline in Grace’s Travel Coat! This has to be one of my favorite pieces ever! I use this coat so much, I think at least one of my dolls is always wearing it!
And (haha, I almost revealed her true identity to all of you XD ) here is JANE (yes, Jane… *smirk*) modeling Grace’s Opening Night Outfit! Again, I couldn’t find the headband, so that’s not shown either. UGH! I literally JUST saw it yesterday and now it’s gone! *sobs over the loss of the lovely headband* Anyways, this dress is gorgeous!! And those SHOES!!!
I shadowed Annika with the black side of my reflector – dark and beautiful π
Awesome camera + miraculous reflector = beautiful picture. In case you didn’t know, I got a reflector for my birthday and it is AMAZING!! These pictures would have been so much darker without it!
Now I’m using the gold side of my reflector- see how the lighting changed? π
Well, that’s all for today! I’ll be back soon – hopefully to show you my dollhouse along with an announcement! π
What did you get from Grace’s Collection?

Morning Glow~ A Photoshoot
Hi everyone! Now that I got three Rey orders shipped out, I have time to make a post for you all π
I took these pictures of Maryellen a few weeks ago on a chilly morning and some of them just seem to have that morning glow, so that explains the title π
Oh gosh. Her hair is so beautiful, isn’t it? O.o
That’s all for today! I’m off to- hm. I don’t know yet actually. I’m really tired, so maybe I’ll read or maybe once I wake up a bit I’ll start cleaning my room. But I also feel like writing… Oh well, I’ll figure it out! π
Do you have any plans for the weekend?

A Comparison of Lea and Rebecca
Hi everyone! I’m so excited because it’s raining right now and it’s cold! I was just lying on the couch with a blanket and reading Lea Dives In – so far, it’s really good! It makes me kind of sad, though because of Lea and Zac’s relationship… Okay, let’s get back on track!
Today I thought I’d do a comparison of Lea and Rebecca. I didn’t realize how many similarities they had until I took them outside for some pictures. They would make some really great twins or even just sisters π
Aren’t they just adorable? So the first thing that’s the same about them, is that they both have the Josefina face mold. In my opinion, Lea’s face looks slightly chubbier and her lips also look bigger, but we’ll get into that later π
Here is Rebecca’s eye. She has a beautiful bright green hazel color with grey-ish brown and black stripes. Her eyebrows are basic.
This is Lea’s eye. They are a darker green than Rebecca’s and have lots more brown in them and she also has the black stripes. Lea also has a thick ring of black around her eye. Her eyebrows are thicker, similar to Grace’s and arched, which is new.
Here are Lea’s lips. They are painted mauve.
And these are Rebecca’s lips. They’re like a light peach almost. I think due to the darkness of Lea’s lips, it makes them look bigger than Rebecca’s because they stand out.
Here you can also see the difference in the skin color. Lea’s skin is tan and Rebecca’s is white.
Side view. Here, Lea’s skin looks similar to Kanani’s. I’ll have to compare their skin soon π
And finally, their hair! I had no idea that their hair color was so alike, and now I can definitely tell that Lea’s hair is brown. Lea’s hair goes down to her hips and is curly/wavy with light blonde and auburn highlights. Rebecca’s hair goes a little past her shoulders and is curly.
Even though they share the same color brown in their hair, I still have to say that Lea’s is slightly lighter than Rebecca’s which I believe is because of her light highlights.
So here’s a list telling how they are alike:
1. They both have brown hair, with Lea’s slightly lighter.
2. They both share the Josefina face mold.
3. They both have green hazel eyes, with Rebecca’s being much brighter.
As I stated earlier, I really think that Lea and Rebecca would make great sisters. Even though not everything is the same, they share many similarities π
What are your thoughts on Lea and Rebecca? Do you think they look alike?

Ruby Red~ A Photoshoot
Hey everyone! So today it was kinda cool out and I decided to go out back and take some pictures of Julie who has been requiring some much needed attention π
I really love this picture for some reason! The angle and the lighting are just so cool in a way π
I love this one, too! She just looks so pretty! π
You’ll probably notice that all the long grass is gone. It’s sort of bittersweet for me, as I’ll miss the long beautiful grass to take pics in front of, but it’s also nice to have a change π
Oh my gosh, Julie, you’re killing me! XD
And here is when she fell over…
O.o Is it just me or is she like an amazingly beautiful doll?! Maybe I’m just realizing how beautiful she is once again XD
I love this one cause her hair is blowing! π
*said in a super dramatic commercial voice* Thus ends this photoshoot entitled Ruby Red featuring the lovely model Julie Albright.
I don’t know where that came from… I’m so tired LOL! I hope you enjoyed the photoshoot! Be sure to let me know which one was your favorite, too! π
Who would you like to see a photoshoot of next?

Masquerade~ Part 7
2 weeks after the proposal of marriage from the prince at my front door, I found myself walking in the palace, myΒ palace gardens with a wedding ring around my finger. How was I supposed to refuse such a generous offer? All I had to do was marry him and my mother and I would be saved from poverty.
So I married the prince. And here I am, a princess.
Any normal girl would feel delighted and honored above all to be a princess, but not me. I didn’t love the prince and, though I knew he was trying, the prince didn’t love me either. All I wanted was to return home with my mother and for everything to go back to the way it was before Frederic began to interfere with our lives. But at least my mother was taken care of. That was the important thing.
“Liesel, may I speak to you for a moment?” The prince, or I should really say, my husband, called from behind me.
I turned to face him and said, “Certainly. What is it?”
He motioned for me to come to him, so I did. “Are you alright, Liesel?” He inquired. I stared at him a moment. I could tell him that I was miserable and felt very alone, but I didn’t. Instead I simply said, “Yes.” Jeremiah raised his eyebrow with concern. “Somehow I feel like that isn’t true.” He said skeptically.
“Please forgive me, but I would really rather be alone.” I said as politely as I could.
“Very well. I will see you at dinner.” He sighed and went back inside.
I closed my eyes, trying so hard not to cry. I couldn’t let anyone see me crying, so I ran far away from any windows or servants.
And I let the tears pour out. I felt so unwanted, but mostly, I felt unloved.
That concludes this installment of Masquerade! The next part will be up soon! π

Masquerade~ Part 6
I returned home from prison the day Frederic told me I was free to go. Although I was glad to be free, as I walked home I still felt like I was in a prison. All of my usual friends who would stop to at least say “Hello”, didn’t even give me a second glance. They walked right past me. They were shutting me out because they finally knew who I really was.
As I walked into my home, I saw a strange sight.
My mother wearing some old clothes, her hair up, and an apron around her waist. What was really strange though, was that she was looking sadly at a pile of her best dresses. “Mother?” I said to get her attention.
“Oh, Liesel! I’m so glad to see you. Are you alright?” Mother inquired, quickly looking over me, probably checking for any scratches or bruises.
“Yes, I’m fine. How and what are you doing?” I asked, glancing over her shoulder at the table.
“I’m as well as can be expected, considering that everyone in the kingdom knows about your father now. I have been going through our things and selling as much as I possibly can.” Mother explained.
“What if we can’t sell enough to pay everyone back?” I wondered.
Mother hesitated before responding and pursed her lips together. With a sigh she said, “Then we will have no choice but to sell the house.”
Mother went back to her work and looked at me with sad eyes. “I’m sorry, Liesel, but I had to sell all your clothes and other belongings.” She apologized.
“You have no reason to be sorry. I’m the one who should be apologizing. It’s all my fault that everyone knows about Father.” I said full of guilt. “Oh, Liesel, don’t blame yourself. Your-” Mother was interrupted by the sound of knocking on the door.
Mother went to answer the door and I looked down at her pretty dresses.
I stroked her purple striped dress and admired the embroidery done on it. I felt so awful that my mother had to give her lovely clothes away and I wondered if we would ever be fortunate enough to have such luxurious gowns again.
“Oh, my. I – I – forgive me, but I am afraid I couldn’t possibly allow my daughter to do that.” I heard my mother saying to whoever was at the door.
“Mother, what is it?” I inquired.
Mother politely excused herself and said in a whisper, “The prince is here. He heard about the debt we are in and said he has been in search of a wife, but can’t find the right one. He says his father has been pressing him about the matter and now the prince says he would marry you in order to please his father and save us from going into poverty.”
That concludes part 6!! Look for part 7 coming soon! π

Maryellen’s Birthday Dress~ Another Photoshoot
I’m really sorry about all the photoshoots lately, but I am really planning to put the next part of Masquerade up tomorrow π
Anyways, you might have heard that I won Maryellen’s Birthday Dress in Madison’s giveaway! Well, it arrived today and it is SO STINKIN’ GORGEOUS!!! Thanks so much again, Madi!! I love it SOOO much!!! π
On with the photoshoot!
The colors of the dress and shoes and just everything is so pretty! And it looks just fabulous on Maryellen! π
Oh, just an FYI- this is a long photoshoot and I got kinda experimantal with angles and whatnot so just be prepared for that π
Doesn’t her hair look amazing up against the green?! AAAAH!
I love how cute and simple the headband is! Of course there was a ginormous tag on it that had to be removed… Why AG? LOL!
The contrast of pink in this outfit is so pretty! The little rose adds just the perfect touch π
And all the tulle is just gorgeous as well!
Okay, these shoes are adorable!!! I love the white bows π
Maryellen and I love this outfit to pieces and we recommend it 100%! I have no complaints about this outfit whatsoever! It’s gorgeous (as I’ve probably stated a gazillion times by now XD ) and is made of a great quality! I can see the Velcro snagging the dress, though, so I’d just be careful with that if I were you π
Well’p, that’s all for today! I think Maryellen is definitely getting a new profile picture. She just looks so beautiful, doesn’t she? π
Thanks again, Madi! I can’t tell you how much I love this outfit! π
Which picture was your favorite?

“With The Glory of Golden Hair”~ A Photoshoot
I LOVE Maryellen’s hair!!! I know I’ve said it before, but it is seriously beautiful, so I just really had to do a photoshoot of Maryellen with her hair down π Oh! The name of this photoshoot comes from a song in the movie Emma. Just in case you were wondering π
Her hair looks so golden!! AAH!!! π <3
I think this might be my favorite picture! π
I edited this picture so that all that was colored was her hair. I messed up a bit, though, but oh well! π
In case you are wondering, I have not once touched her hair with a hairbrush. I only ever finger comb through it and kinda shape the hair with my fingers π
I don’t know why this picture has a black border… It happened after I added the bokeh π
So, it was a really short photoshoot, but there is a reason to that! It was super hot outside (like 102-ish) and it’s getting harder for me to take pictures because we unfortunately don’t have anything really pretty in our yard…. Hopefully I’ll start getting more creative and inspired soon π
I hope you liked the pictures! I’ll try to get the next part of Masquerade up today or Friday π
What do you think of Maryellen’s hair?
