Sunshine~ A Photoshoot
IM SO HAPPY TO BE POSTING RIGHT NOW!!!
Have ya’ll seen AG’s new release?! Oh my word I was dying so hard over all the new stuff!! Seeing the new dolls, outfits, etcetera, etcetera – reallyΒ made me want to take photos of one of my dolls! And also go to the AG store and spend all the money that I don’t have. XD
I took photos of Marie-Grace because I asked Hershey (known to you as AGDA) who I should take pictures of and she suggested her, so here we are! XD
Hershey also helped me out cause it was super sunny in our backyard and she told me a couple things about photographing dolls in sunlight. And then I edited the pics cause the lighting was a bit whacky. ;D
Awwww, how cute is she?! *heart eyes*
*sings a weird song in my head about loving bokeh*
So those are all the pics I took! Not many, but it was hot and it’s kinda hard to take pics in sunlight, so… XD
Guyyyysss! I feel so inspired right now to make a photostory series but I lack a storyyyy!! I kinda have an idea of what kindΒ of story I wanna make, but I have no story ideas. Oh well. I have time to think of something. π
Also, I’m currently on a break (sort of) from my phone right now (I say as I type this post on my phone LOL). My friends and I “hid” our distracting apps from us and are going the summer without using them! Except on special occasions XD
I feel like because of that, I’m going to be more inspired to post on here, so you might be seeing a return of JACLYNN THE DONUT LOVING CRAZY FANGIRL! XD
Ahem. Now then…. Talk to you soon, my friends! π
What do you think of AG’s new release? Would you like to see me do another photostory series? What type of stories interest you?
~Jaclynn~
P.S. I have officially completed school!! I’m SO happy!! XD
Posters for Masquerade!
Hi everyone! Mya recently asked me if I could make some posters for Masquerade, so today I got to work on that! I can’t believe I never made these sooner… Thanks for asking for the posters, Mya! π
*giddy laugh* I’m really happy with how this one turned out! π
Thanks to Emma for creating the shipping name! Awe, I’m so honored to have my very first shipping name created! π I’m going to start creating shipping posters (like the above) that you all can put on your sidebar if you ship those characters! Feel free to do so with this one and make sure to link back to my Masquerade page π
So that’s all of them! You’re absolutely welcome to print these out or put them on your blog’s sidebar (I’d appreciate a link back π )! π
Oh, and also, I decided to show you some edits I sent to Emma when she was mad at me for killing off Jeremiah….
Okay, I’ve had my fill of evilness for today. XD
Also, Emma sent me this….
Okie dokie then! I hope you like the posters!! π

Photos From The Past
Hi everyone! Recently I was going through some old pictures I took from like 2009-ish, and I thought it would be fun to show you all π
First off, this is a picture of all my stuffed animals (at that time) set up on my floor as Spirit preached to them about the Prodigal Son. I called it Beanie Church π Oh, and you see that little white goat down there that’s tied up? Yeah… He’s bad so he had to be tied up to keep him from going crazy. Kinda funny that his name is Fred the Friendly Goat, isn’t it? XD
I took this photo of Beth around Christmas time. I think she looks so precious π
O_O Did that really used to be all I had? I can’t even remember what that was like! XD Oh, just an FYI for those who don’t know, but Addy and Josefina are my sister’s dolls π
I played Little House on The Prairie/country a LOT when I was little. Here we have Felicity and Addy doing some mending π
Kirsten making some eggs π (OH MY GOSH HER HAIR!!! :O )
Josefina tending to the baby π
This was another time when I was playing “real life”. Felicity, Addy, and Caleb are all playing with cars on this mat I had, while Kirsten, Kendra, and Josefina play with their dolls π
Beth looking all sweet π
And for a bonus, this is a picture of my room after I cleaned it all up. It looks so different now. O_O I’ll have to show you guys what my room looks like now sometime π
Well, I hope you enjoyed taking a stroll through memory lane with me! I love having these pictures to look back to π
Do you have photos of things you used to play when you were little?

Masquerade ~Part 14
Whoa. That felt so weird to write “part 14” up there! This is quite long, isn’t it? π
Ready for some heartbreak? Good, good. Then here we go….
After being knocked out and dragged mercilessly to the dungeon, Β I found myself half wishing Liesel would come down and half wishing she wouldn’t.
Oh, Liesel….Β Ever since our talk in the field, I thought of her more than ever. I longed to be with her, but knew I had to get used to us being apart. She was a married woman, after all, and I had to respect that.
“Enjoying your stay?” A familiar voice said that snapped me out of my thoughts. Jeremiah. I looked and saw him staring at me intently, his hand on the hilt of his sword.
“What do you want?” I inquired with disgust.
“To offer you a choice. Either you confess to the world that you killed Liesel’s father and stay in the dungeon for eternity, or I kill you. The choice is yours.” Jeremiah said, his voice hoarse.
“I choose…. To confess. To confess that I am the witnessΒ and that you had her father killed.Β And even more than that, I’ll tell them all about your secret gambling establishment in the next kingdom, hidden deep under the ground. And all you hold dear will be taken from you – your life.” I growled.
Jeremiah pulled out his sword and pointed it towards me. “You’d better watch what you say, Edmund. You have one last chance.Β Now what do you choose?!” He bellowed.
I stumbled to get up and stepped closer to him and said, “I choose vengeance.”
Jeremiah placed his sword under my chin and stared at me with gritted teeth. “I know you want to kill me, so why don’t you?” I asked, testing his courage. “I think you’re afraid, you’re afraid to kill someone yourself. That’s why you had Frederic do your dirty work for you, isn’t it?”
“Stop!” Liesel yelled as she rushed in. Surely the sight of her husband pointing a sword at her old beau was an awkward sight.
“Jeremiah, what’s going on? Why is Edmund locked up?” She inquired.
“He blames me for murdering your father! If this gets out, I could be murdered myself! He’s a scoundrel!” Jeremiah growled.
I saw the shock in Liesel’s eyes, though she was trying to hide it. “A moment alone please, Jeremiah.” Liesel requested and he stomped off.
“Edmund, is what Jeremiah said true? You think he killed my father?” She asked.
“Liesel, I know this must be hard for you to comprehend, but you have to believe me. Jeremiah had him killed!” I insisted.
“Oh, Edmund…” She turned her head away and became silent. “Liesel, it’s true.” I said.
She closed her eyes and stood completely still. I could tell she was trying not to cry, I had seen her do this before.
“Why would he have my father killed?” She asked after a moment of silence.
“Because he owed him money that he couldn’t pay. Jeremiah owns a secret gambling establishment that your father used to go to. It’s where he lost everything and why you and your mother had to move away in order to escape the debts.” I explained and I saw a tear trickle down her cheek.
“Edmund.” She said as she reached her hand through the bars. I leaned closer and she placed her fingers on my cheek. “Edmund I want to believe you. But I can’t.” She said, her voice cracking.
I instantly backed away and looked at her in shock. “Why don’t you believe me? Do you really trust Jeremiah, a man you barely know, more than me?”
“It just seems kind of funny to me that you suddenly show up shortly after I marry him, ask my forgiveness, and then accuse Jeremiah of murdering my father. It’s like you’re trying to break us apart. Like you’re trying to win me back. But that can’t happen, Edmund. I made a vow and I intend to keep it.”
Tears began to blur my vision. I turned away and whispered, “Leave me.” And she left.Β
How could she accuse me of such a thing? Her words stung me. It was a pain unlike any I had felt before. She didn’t trust me anymore. And now I didn’t know where my fate lied….
~~~~~
*sigh* I need to go hug Weston/Edmund.
Stay tuned for another part coming soon! π
Masquerade~ Part 9
The past few weeks I spent my time wandering around the palace grounds. My world has changed so drastically and I longed more than anyone could imagine, to be free from this prison.
I stroked the nose of my favorite horse and smiled at her. She was my only comfort during these days. The prince and I still weren’t in love and I couldn’t see myself ever falling in love with him. He was nice, but hardly the type of man I wanted.
I was startled out of my thoughts by the sound of voices coming from around the back of the stable.
I leaned against the door and listened closely.
“It’s about time. I’ve been waiting for this ever since I got her out of prison.” I gasped and quickly placed my hand over my mouth. That sounds like Frederic!
“You did a good job. If I ever need anything else, I’ll let you know.”
That voice was unmistakably the prince.
This doesn’t make sense… Why would the prince be working with Frederic? And what on earth did he give him?Β
That night during dessert, I cleared my throat softly to get the prince’s attention. “Jeremiah, I have something to ask you…” I said hesitantly.
“What is it?” He inquired as he looked up from his food.
“When I was in the stables today, I thought I heard you talking to someone. The man sounded a lot like Frederic.” I said, though I was scared to even mention his name.
“Ah, I see. It’s nothing to worry about, Liesel. Everything is taken care of.” He said with a grin that made me suspicious. What’s taken care of?
I looked down at my food and didn’t say another word.
“Well, I’m off to bed now. Goodnight, Liesel.” He said and rose from his seat.
As I watched him walk away, a million questions span around in my head, but I couldn’t get one question out of my mind – did the prince somehow have a hand in Frederic’s threats to me?
~~~~~~~~
Oooh…. What could be happening? π
Next part coming soon! π

Masquerade~ Part 8
Okay, everyone settle down so I can begin this post! XD
I bet you’re all super happy to see this, huh? I got a splurge of inspiration today and finallyΒ figured everything out for the rest of this story! I’m SO excited to get the rest of the story posted and I hope you’re all just as excited as I am! π
For the previous part, click here. I just wanna make sure you’re all caught up π
As I walked through the streets that warm summer day, I found myself lost in deep thought. Why did I ever leave? Yes, I was terrified, but couldn’t I at least have confessed? Couldn’t I have confided in her?
“Please don’t go, Edmund.” Her pleas rang clear as a bell in my mind. “I don’t want to, but I have to.” I had said. “But why? Can’t you just tell me?” She asked of me as tears filled her striking green eyes. “I can’t. I’m sorry.” Was my vague and ridiculous reply.
“Remember me.” She requested just before she turned to leave. I’ve always remembered you. But did she still remember me? Did she even spare the slightest thought for me, even after all these years of being apart?
I shook my head. There’s no way. But it was time for me to go back, time for me to face her and find out for sure.
“Good day, Edmund!” Nicole, a good friend of mine, greeted as she joined my pace.
“Hello, Nicole.” I greeted, forcing a smile. She was my friend, but I wanted to be alone for the moment.
“Is something wrong?” She inquired.
After what I had learned after leaving home all those years ago, I knew it was best for me to come clear. “I’m leaving, Nicole. It’s time for me to go home.” I admitted.
“And to see her again, right?” She asked with a knowing smile.
“It was wrong of me to leave her that way. It’s high time I face her and make up for my mistakes. I thought I could beat this on my own, but I realize I need her now more than ever.” I explained, my heart heavy.
“Well, I certainly wish you well, Edmund. Be safe.” Nicole bid with a friendly grin.
“Thank you. For everything.” Nicole had helped me through a lot these past years and I was eternally grateful to her.
~~~~~
Oooh! I wonder who Edmund could be….? ;D
I hope you liked this part! We’ll get to Liesel in the next installment π
Dine & Dash~ A Photostory
Wait, what? Two photostories in a row? I can’t even remember the last time I did that! Well, you are about to find some of my deep, dark secrets… Okay, not really, but you will find out something you’ve been dying to know π
“Hey, Delle. That guy over there keeps looking around the diner. Think he’s up to something?” Eli asked his older sister.
Riven-Delle casually looked over to where the guy was sitting. She guessed he was an older teen. Maybe 16 or 17? He seemed kind of suspicious- mostly cause he was wearing a black leather jacket.
They quickly turned their gaze away from him when they noticed he was looking at them.
The teen guy stood up, his food gone except for a few fries andΒ a little left of his grape soda.
Then Riven-Delle casually watched as he walked away from the bar and went out the door.
“Eli, stay here.” Riven-Delle instructed. “I’m gonna go talk to him.”
“Uh, I don’t think you should do that, Delle. He’s obviously not a good guy. It’s not safe.” said Elijah. Riven-Delle didn’t listen, though.
Riven-Delle followed the guy out the door and watched him for any strange behavior. “It seems safe.”Β She thought.
“Hey, what do you think you’re doing?” Riven-Delle called out and he paused abruptly, as though thinking “Oh no. I m caught.”
“You talking to me?” He inquired as he turned to face her.
“Yeah, I am. You just left the diner without paying.” She stated firmly.
He chuckled and turned his head away.
“Look, don’t say anything about this to anyone. I need to get out of here.” He said urgently.
“What’s your hurry?” She asked.
“I need to help my friend. He’s sick.” He informed.
“Sure he is.” Elijah said as he walked up.
“I told you to wait for me.” Riven-Delle scolded.
“I think he’s just making all this up to get away.” Eli said bluntly.
“Actually, I’m not, kid. My friend really is sick.” He stated.
“Look, I don’t have time to chat with a couple of kids. I gotta get going.” He said, turning to leave.
“I don’t think you should be talking to us that way. I’m actually 14, how old are you?” Riven-Delle inquired.
“16. And before you ask, my name is Weston.” He introduced.
“Well, here’s the thing Weston. If you don’t have any money, I’ll pay the bill for you. And I won’t turn you in.” Riven-Delle offered kindly.
Weston turned away with a sigh. Inside he felt guilty because he did have the money, but he couldn’t tell them that. He needed to get back home and help his friend. “Deal.” He agreed.
And that was the last word they heard him say.
“I hope he’ll be okay.” Riven-Delle said.
“I hope we see him again. I just need to touch that hair. How does he get it to stay up like that?” Eli wondered and Riven-Delle just laughed. She hoped to see him again, too, mostly because she felt sorry for him. She hoped he would turn from his wrong ways…
Stranger at the Park~ A Photostory
It was a warm, sunny day, so I decided to bring the kids to the park. Jess and Lana sat on a bench chatting. Or rather, Lana chatted and Jess didn’t pay much attention.
“…and then half an hour later, I saw Samantha dusting AGAIN! I’m telling you, she cleans wayΒ too much.” Lana observed, though Jess didn’t seem to notice her talking.
“Humph! I’ve been sitting here doing allΒ the talking while you just sit there staring at nothing! I’d rather be talking to Josefina – even if she always blows her top with me, Β at least she would respond!” Lana grumbled, and still Jess didn’t say a word.
With a heavy, over exaggerated sigh, Lana leaped to her feet and walked away in a huff.
“Um, hi! You’re one of the girls from that huge family that lives on Daisy Street, right?” A strange girl inquired as she walked up to the bench Jess sat miserably on.
“Oh, yeah. You live across the street from us, huh?” Jess asked.
“Yeah, I’m still kinda new. We moved there in January. Uh, so, do you mind if I sit with you?” The girl wondered.
“Sure, it’s fine.” Jess replied.
“I’m Leia, by the way. What’s your name?” Leia introduced.
“I’m Jess. How old are you?” She asked.
“Oh, I’m 14.” Jess answered, turning her head away.
They sat in an awkward silence for a while, but Leia was determined to get to know her better. “Are you okay?” She inquired.
Jess sighed and closed her eyes. “No, I’m not.”
“Well, if you don’t mind me asking, what’s wrong?” Leia pressed.
“Today marks 6 years since my brother and sister died.” Jess struggled through the words, but she somehow managed to get them out without bawling.
“Oh. I’m so sorry.” Leia said, looking down at her compass.
“H-how did they die?” She inquired.
“In a terrible accident. A cave in.” Jess informed as she stared into space, her eyes wet with tears.
“That’s awful…. Couldn’t someone have tried to get them out?” Leia asked.
“They did, but it was too late.” Jess answered.
“Have you ever lost someone?” Jess inquired.
Leia turned her head and stared into open space. “No.” She answered simply.
“Well, I’d better be going. It was nice to meet you, Jess.” Leia said as she rose to her feet.
“It was nice to meet you, too, Leia. Maybe you could come over sometime?” Jess offered.
“Yeah, maybe. Well, bye!” Leia said with a smile.
Leia walked away and Β holding onto her compass, she said, “I’m not gonna lose you. I will find you.”
~~~~~
Hiii! I felt like making a photostory today and YAY! Now Leia is introduced! XD I know, it took me forever to introduce her, but I had other plans for her, but then things changed so I was able to make her introductory photostory at last! ;D
I hope you liked it! Have a great day!

The Daisy~ A Photoshoot
Hey everyone! Did I really go a week without doing a post? Oopsie… I guess I was writing a lot last week π
The other day I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw some AMAZING pictures of a boy and girl doll and they made them look like a couple. It was the cutest thing ever. So it inspired me to do that with my dolls! I had so much fun doing this and I hope you enjoy these just as much as I enjoyed taking them! π
Aren’t they ADORABLE?!?! It makes me want to make more boy dolls XD
Literally, it was perfect – as I was making this post, I See The Light from TangledΒ was playing. That was just amazing. If you want a special effect to this post, I suggest listening to that song as you read through it ;D
Also, I’m gonna try to get a photostory up this week! Yay! XD
Which picture was your favorite? Would you like to see more of these?
~Jaclynn~Β
*Throws Confetti*
EEE!!! Do you know what March 23rd is? It’s quite a special day, actually!
Today is my 3 YEAR Blogiversary!!! YAAAY!!! If you knew that already, that is quite impressive π
Also, thanks to my mom for making me that sweet picture and sending it to my email this morning as a surprise – I love you π
Wow… 3 whole years… Time flies doesn’t it? It seems like just yesterday that I made my welcome post.
When I first started my blog, I didn’t expect to ever have so many followers (I have 80?! OMGEE THANK YOU!!!) or to win an award for Best Photostories or to ever know and meet so many people through my blogging.
I’ve definitely learned a lot through my blog. I’ve learned what to say and what not to say, to be honest, and I’ve learned that I shouldn’t compare myself to other blogs, because where’s the fun in that? I want to have funΒ with my blog and if I’m constantly comparing myself to blogs who are above me and trying to reach their level, then I’m not having fun, am I? No. It isn’t good to compare. I can only do what I can do to have fun with my blog and my readers and that’s all that’s important when it comes to blogging. Blogging is about havingΒ fun.
I’m amazed at how many amazing people I’ve met through my blog. I love talking with all of you – you have no idea how many of your comments have made my day, literally, even some have brought me to tears! Thank you so much for your support! π
This year, my goal is to make my blog more about my readers. I want to know YOUR opinions, I want to play games, and just interact with you more! I want to make more posts that are of what you want to see. I’ll be having some polls sometime soon, so look out for that π
Speaking of my readers, let me just thank a handful of you, okay?
I’d like to thank:
Lizzy – who has left me some of the sweetest comments. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate them, Lizzy π
Amelia – who I was super excited to meet in person. You’ve been with me from the beginning and we’ve been friends for even longer π
Clara – who always leaves super nice comments with usually a little something in it to make me laugh. She was even going to come over at 1AM to finish painting the dollhouse for us, just so she could smell it. XD Oh, and by the way, Clara, when can I come over and pet your baby goats (I might look at that picture of Clover like… Every day) XD
Kathleen – who has always been one of the biggest supporters of my blog. I believe we even had a conversation once of starting a club for blazers and leather jackets or something… Oh! Also, she’s obsessed with BB-8! π
Peace – who is another huge supporter of my blog and my photostories π
American Girl Doll Artist – who I’ve enjoyed getting to know this past year and who is a huge Star Wars fan π
Madi – who leaves super long sweet comments π
My mom – Β who has always been so supportive and encouraging with my blog. Thanks for all your help in making LHOAG possible π
My dad – who, even though he doesn’t care about dolls, still shows an interest in my blog π
Emma – my BFF in real life, who I love to talk about blogging with and who has actually forced me to make posts a few times… And I’ve done it to her, too LOL! Sometimes we need that push, though ;D
There are really so many more I’d love to thank individually, but this is getting quite long, so let me just say…. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! You all deserve your favorite dessert *hands each of you your favorite dessert*
I’ve been through a lot with my blog. Joy, laughter, excitement, frustration, confusion, tears, and even guilt. But even through all the bad, this blogging journey has had so much good in it that it far outweighs the bad. I don’t believe I will ever quit blogging – I enjoy it way too much π
Now for an announcement! Today I am having a….. GIVEAWAY!!! And this time, I’m giving away an actual AG product that I purchased specifically to give away – you all deserve it! So check back later today for that! π
Bye for now! And thank you all, again! LHOAG would not be where it’s at today without YOU! <3
Love,
~Jaclynn~
