Whew! Me and my mom (mostly my mom) have been working for over 2 hours making crafts for Camp Doll Diaries which starts tomorrow for me and my dolls!!! Here is a picture of all that we made:

We had to make 9 of EACH THING!!! It is so much work, but so worth it!

Have your dolls started camp yet? How are they liking it? How many dolls are at your camp?

  • My dolls are at Camp Doll Diaries too! I have five dolls and they are all at camp. I made a video of all of my dolls on their first day of camp, and you can see it at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtexdAKIIgQ

  • Your stuff looks great! I started June 3rd, because that’s when they did. 🙂 I LOVE your visors! I used card board because we don’t have enough craft foam for 13 dolls! 😀 We actually have basically no craft foam-but a lot of cardboard. 😉 I love the name badges, too. 🙂 My dolls are really liking it. I am playing with 6 dolls at camp, one of my sisters is playing with 3, and my older sister is playing with 4. The reason we have so many is because we are playing with 5 rag dolls. 🙂 They are friends with the rest of the dolls, so why shouldn’t they? 😉

    • Thank you!
      I would’ve started June 3rd, but I couldn’t 🙁
LOL! We went to Jo~Ann yesterday and bought a pack of big sheets of craft foam. We used almost the entire purple sheet 😛
Oh, wow! That’s a lot of dolls!
Oh, ok! Yeah, that’s true 😉
      ~Jaclynn~

      • Yes, I understand that. It is okay, though, since you made the stuff. 🙂
Oh, well! The visors look good, though. 🙂
Yes, it is! They hardly all fit in the cabin! 😀
        ~Christian Homeschooler
P.S. Did you get the photos I sent you? 🙂

        • LOL! I bet! 😀
          ~Jaclynn~
P.S. I got an email from you, but no pics…?

          • Hehe! Oh, well, wasn’t there a link at the end of the email. Something about Sky Drive? If you click that, then you’ll see my photos. 🙂
            ~Christian Homeschooler

          • Ooooh! I see that link! LOL! I’ll look at them later, ok? 🙂
            ~Jaclynn~

  • My girls got to camp a day late, so they haven’t gotten to do anything yet! 🙁 planing on making stuff today, (first day of summer for me). 🙂 They like it there, and their roommate is really sweat. I have 4 dolls at my camp, 3 ag dolls, and a doll I have had for a few years.(I think she is a Play Along Club Doll) Shes cute! I am hopping to ger an Our Generation Doll this summer, so that will be yet another happy camper!

Your stuff you made looks awesome by the way!!!! 🙂

    • Aw, that’s sad! We just started today so they’re anxious to get busy 😉
That’s good! What kind of stuff are you having at your camp?
I was thinking of getting an Our Generation for another camper AND friend for them. But I don’t really like their faces- LOL!
      Oh, thank you 🙂
      ~Jaclynn~

      • I made their name badges and the banner and stuff like that, but I don’t have supplies for the
visor or the siting thing! Lol don’t know what its called! So I am going to be doing other stuff with them, like today we might do friendship bracelets, I am wanting to make a swimming pool for them soon! (Of course they wont actually get wet!) 🙂 But I don’t have swim suits for them, my birthday is this weekend so I am hoping to to buy them new outfits and some swim suits! 🙂
Yah…OG dolls do have odd looking faces, but some of them are cute! I am wanting to get the Eva doll, but probably will change the name. 🙂

        -Annie

        • LOL! It’s a ‘sit upon.’ I’d never heard of it until today!
          Oh, that’s cute!
I’ve wanted to make a swimming pool for them for a long time, but I don’t know how 🙁
          Cool! Happy Early Birthday! 😀
They do. I like Charlotte’s face- she’s kinda cute 😉
          ~Jaclynn~

          • I am going to make it out of a plastic storage container, and put rocks around to make it look like an in ground pool, won’t be permanent but should be fun!! 🙂
            Awe thanks Jaclynn! 🙂
my best friend wants to get Charlotte! I think she is cute! I wanted to get another American Girl Doll but they are very expensive. So an OG doll it is! Lol! 😀

            -Annie

          • That’s a really good idea! Do you have a lot of rocks around?
            You’re welcome 🙂
Yeah, I like her freckles! I’m obssesed with freckles- LOL! 😀
Hehe! Which AG doll did you want to get?
            ~Jaclynn~

          • I haven’t made it yet, but it will!
I wanted to get Historical doll Rebecca, but I also liked some MYAG.
I don’t know what numbers they are but I really liked the same one you are getting ( I have liked her for a while!) and the My AG with the short blond curly hair, and the one with orange/red curly hair. I hadn’t really thought of which one I like more since I am not getting one, But I still kinda do want to get one. 🙂

            -Annie

          • Good choices!
Oh, yes! Those MAG’s are SO cute!
Well, I hope that you do get another one someday soon 🙂
            ~Jaclynn~
P.S. Rebecca is a great doll!! Hehe! 😛

  • Wow! That must have taken a while to make! I need to make some of that stuff pretty soon here…
Yes they have! And they like it but their cabin is still under ‘construction’, so they can’t really do much in there.
All my dolls are at camp, and each of them are in the same cabin. Though I’ve told them a new girl will be joining them in a few weeks, so they’re really excited to meet her!
    ~Carli

    • It did! Either a little over or a little under 2 hours 😛
Oh, ok! Well, I’m sure once it’s finished they’ll love it! 🙂
      YAY FOR SAIGE!!! HEHE!! 😀
      ~Jaclynn~

      • Wow! That did take a long time! Hehe!
I think they will too. I’m working on the antique stove, and I’m working on a chair and a table. And I need to make some checkers too.
        Hehehe! 😀
        ~Carli

  • WoW! how did you get a tiny picture for the name badges? i LOVE those and really want to make one but i dont know how!

    • Well, I took the pics of them on my mom’s iPhone and then she uploaded them to the computer, measured the space where they would go, and made them small on Adobe Photoshop! I’m sure you can figure out something 🙂
      ~Jaclynn~

  • My dolls haven’t started at camp, but all four of them – Jess, Kit, Samantha, and Kanani – are looking forward to going! The girls can’t wait for lots of fun crafts as well as outdoor activities like swimming, nature hikes, and camping! (: I am SO excited, I spend all my free time planning and daydreaming! Camp Doll Diaries was such a good idea! P.S. I agree with Hannah — your doll’s name badges are ADORABLE! They’re just the right size and everything! (I’m going to try and make my own later but I bet they won’t look quite as perfect as yours!) And I love the cabin you set up; your dolls are going to feel right at home! (: My Camp Doll Diaries will probably be a day camp, just because I have no room to make a cabin, but I’m sure it will be just as fun! Eeek I am so excited, I can’t wait for camp to start! Can’t wait to see more photos of your dolls at camp!
    ~Olivia
    p.s. Longest comment ever LOL!

    • You have a Jess and Samantha? I love them! They’re so cute! 🙂
Hehe! Kanani is mostly excited about boating. I still have to make the boats, though.. 😛
I think a lot about it, too! It IS a great idea! I would have never thought of doing this!
Aw, thank you! That’s so sweet 🙂 I guess it helps that my mom makes sites and she’s really good at sizing stuff- LOL! 😀
      Thank you, again!
Oh, yeah, I get that! 😉
Thanks! Look at the newest post 😀
      ~Jaclynn~
LOLOL! I’ve seen longer- and actually some were done by me! LOLOLOL! 😀

      • Jaclynn —
-Thanks! I know, aren’t they adorable? 🙂 I am so blessed to have them, especially since both of them are archived 🙁
-OMG, you have Kanani too! Isn’t she beautiful? Ooh, how are you going to make boats? I have an AG kayak, so my dolls are really into boating and they’ve been doing it for a long time. It’s so cool – just like a real kayak – and it even floats in the water with a doll in it! Well, technically you’re not supposed to put it in the water, but I was super careful. 🙂 Haha
-Yay Doll Diaries! 🙂 They always come up with great doll play ideas.
-Yeah, I’m sure it helps having a parent who knows how to do that kind of stuff. I guess I’m going to have to figure it out on my own (we’ll see how THAT goes, LOL!)
-I saw your newest post, it’s awesome! Good pics 🙂
        ~Olivia
p.s. Haha! Good, that makes me feel better. I always feel like I’m taking over people’s blogs with my comments! 😛

        • I know- you are! I’m also blessed to have Felicity and Kirsten. I really wanted to get Samantha, Nellie, and Elizabeth, too. 🙁
Yes, I do! Oh, she is! Her hair is like the exact color of mine- and length, too! LOL! 🙂
Doll Diaries actually shows how to make one in an old post. Here’s the link:

          http://dolldiaries.com/doll-play-day-53-row-row-row-your-boat/

That’s awesome! Hehe! I hope you were 😉
Yeah, it looks like they do! I’ve never even been on there until now! I didn’t know what I was missing! LOL!
It does help. LOL! You’re funny 😀
Thank you! I’m glad you liked it 🙂
          ~Jaclynn~
P.S. LOL! Same here! On AGFan I’d look under recent comments and they would all be mine except for maybe 1 or 2! LOLOL! 😛

  • Thanks!

  • Hello!! Okay so I have decided to not buy any items yet… ( Gets better )

I have decided to save up for an american girl doll! My goal… before christmas! do you think I can do it? And what doll do you think I should save up for?

    Thank You! <3

    • YAY!! Congratulations!
I KNOW you can do it! And depending on how much money you get you could probably buy one within a couple of months!
Hmm… Well who do you have right now? Do you like Saige? If you like/want Saige I would get her, since she’s limited 😉
      ~Jaclynn~

  • Great! I can’t wait to see what you think of the camp! 🙂
    ~Christian Homeschooler
