Samantha Is RETURNING!
Oh, my GOSH! The rumors were true!! American Girl just announced it on their Facebook page:
“Time to celebrate, Samantha Parkington fans—your favorite is coming back this fall! Our Victorian-era character’s return is just one of the exciting changes to our historical line. Stay tuned for more details…”
I can hardly believe it!! I know what I’m saving up for next!! 😀
Also, they have said that there’s no news of Nellie’s return. A little disappointed about that, but oh well 🙂

Well, I don’t know…. It seems they will be making all new stuff for her, and I don’t know if I’ll like it.
Well, I’m sure there will be new items in her collection, but I think they’ll still have some of her original things, too 🙂

Well, maybe. I am just thinking they will change the whole Historical Character line, and if they do, I probably won’t like it.
I’m very excited–perhaps this means that AG hasn’t completely forgotten about the historical characters. ^_^ I would like to buy her, but I haven’t completely decided. I think I’ll wait till her release and then decide. Are you still planning to buy her, even though you already have a Samantha doll?

I’m not really sure how I feel about it. Like FiveDollStars said about it, its a little weird that they’re bring her back. But I’m kinda excited about it too. I already have the Samantha Doll but I don’t have any clothes, accessories, or furniture so I’ll problaly going to get some of them. AG is problaly going to change Sam’s meet outfit a little though. I really hope that they bring back Nellie too!!!

I know!! I think I’m going to wait to buy Nellie until after Samantha is released. Just in case 🙂
No, it doesn’t, but I think they will be! I don’t think they would release a doll in the Fall to have her here for the rest of the year. If they wanted to do a one year thing she would’ve been released in January. At least that’s what I think 😉

That makes sense. It’d be like releasing a GOTY in the Fall 😛 I’m really glad they’re bringing them back, I need to look at all the outfits that were retired with Samantha and decide what I want to get, hehe! 😀

No, there has been no official thing said that they are planning to retire Marie-Grace and Cecile. People just think they will be retired because their collection has gone down quite a bit. But also has Addy’s and Kaya’s and Josefina’s. I personally don’t think they’ll retire them any time soon. They’ve only been around for a little over two years. 😉

Okay! good! because my best friend is trying to save up to buy Marie-Grace, and i would hate it if they retired them before she can get her! 🙂 I personally think they might retire Addy next, just because they came out with Cecile. There is no proof for this, just observation! 🙂 I wish they didn’t retire any dolls! it’s so sad! I am so happy they are bring Samantha back! I love her so much! <3

Maybe I’ll get HER instead of Liesel for Christmas. Wait, WHAT AM I SAYING!? Oh well. Maybe I’ll ask my relatives for her or I’ll save up for her instead. Yay!! Samantha is my moms favorite AG doll (she doesn’t have any though 😛 She actually never had any) so when I told her she was like, “Seriously?!”! 😀 She didnt believe me at first.! 😉
We are both very excited, but I won’t buy the doll…I don’t think… 😕 Probably I’ll just buy some outfits of hers, since I ADORE that time period!!! Although…I might get Nellie….or Samantha…IDK 😉 LOL
I can only get one more AG and I’ve never been a huge fan of Sam, but Nellie is adorable!! Do you think they will bring Nellie back too? She’s such a big part of Sammy’s stories….
