A Bunch of Random Updates & News!
Hi everyone!
I’m sorry it’s been a week since I posted – again. I was really busy last week and I’m afraid that this will be the only post this week because the Hillside Craft Fair is this weekend!!! That means that pretty much all my spare time is going to crocheting. I’m SO excited for Hillside!! A part of me wishes it was today and the other part of me is like – no way! You are not prepared, get to crocheting! XD
I’m working on a Sith Cloak right now. I had to take it apart twice so I’m a bit behind on that, but I’m hoping to finish it by tomorrow and get started on the Jedi Robe 🙂
I made a Princess Leia Dress and I have a Han Solo Dress in the works. I can’t wait to show you all my new stuff! 😀
Also, I just sold a Rey outfit on Etsy!! YAAAY!!! I really needed that right now. With Mother’s Day and Emma’s birthday coming up – I didn’t know what I was going to do 😛
(I didn’t want this to be a picture-less post, so I thought I’d put this one in I took a week or two ago. It makes me think of A Bug’s Life 🙂 )
Onto the news – I’m a part of a collab blog!!! That makes *mumbles to self – LHOAG, LMF, He Rights My Wrongs…* Okay, that makes 4 blogs that I have to post on! Wow – I never expected that! XD
Grace (The Girl Upstairs) asked Emma, Clara, Bella, and I to be a part of a collab blog with her. It’s called The Elven Realm of Writing, so please check it out! It’s all about writing, elves, and books. We don’t have any posts up yet, but there’s a welcome post and most of the about pages are complete 🙂

Review of Truly Me #44
Hey everyone! I recently had a request from Daisymermaid to do a review of Kiara (TM#44), so that’s what I’m doing today, as you can already tell by the title XD
First, let’s talk about her hair. It’s amazing, really it is, but it lays pretty awkwardly and is rather frizzy. This is picture of how it looks just doing its thing.
And here’s how I normally have it. Those few front curls are always in her face and have weird frizzies that get in her eye, so I usually just tuck them back 🙂
The curls are beautiful! They can be a challenge to tame, but in the end it’s worth it. What I usually do to tame the frizzies and get it looking nicer, is I grab a squirt bottle and squirt a bit of water onto my fingers. I rub them together and then grab a curl and just sort of wipe it down and then twist it. I do this to every single curl. It takes a while 😉
She has about 4-5 layers of curls – this gives it it’s bigness ;D
The very bottom layer of curls is really weird. They’re super short and just kind of crazy. Thankfully you can’t see them cause they’re hidden by all the other curls 🙂
Her hair is dark brown with golden-red highlights that can only be seen when she’s in direct light. It’s so pretty 🙂
Kiara has the classic face mold, feathered eyebrows, and hazel eyes.
She has a medium skin tone. Here is her skin color (left) compared to Grace’s (right).
Kiara (left), Lea (right). Their skin color is very close. I’m having trouble being able to tell whether it’s the same or not… I want to say that Lea’s skin is the slightest bit lighter, but they probably have the same color skin 🙂
And here’s Kiara (left) next to Kanani (right). Again, super close, but Kanani’s is definitely darker.
Kiara (#44) is a gorgeous doll and I’m so happy to have her as part of my doll family! I’d probably rate her a 9 out of 10 just because her hair is kinda crazy XD Also, just an FYI, Kiara is the JLY version, so I’m not sure if the TM version has any slight changes or not 😉

2 Fillies & A Colt~ A Photostory

Sometimes when I stand by the door to the backyard and I feel the cool breeze sweeping over me and hear the birds chirping, I just feel called to go outside. That’s what happened to me today. It was so beautiful outside I just had to go out and be surrounded by the fresh air.
And then I saw our ponies playing in the lawn.
I smiled gleefully as I watched them. They were so adorable, it killed me.
Sparks Flying was the first to notice me. He stared at me, a gleam in his eye. Then he ran over to me.
“Hey, you good boy!” I greeted as I stroked his fluffy face. Nothing better than the fluffy fur of a pony. Well, maybe there is, but to me, it was one of the most amazing feelings in the world.
It wasn’t long before Luthien and Eowyn noticed me and trotted over to us.
Eowyn lifted her muzzle under my arm to make me pet her and I giggled as she did so. These two girlies were jealous of the attention I was giving Sparks Flying.
“Don’t be jealous, you two! I love you all very much.” I cooed.
I could have stayed out there forever. These ponies definitely held a special place in my heart.
Awww…. I love my horses, but I hardly ever use them! It felt good to give these little ponies some attention 🙂

The Daisy~ A Photoshoot
Hey everyone! Did I really go a week without doing a post? Oopsie… I guess I was writing a lot last week 😛
The other day I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw some AMAZING pictures of a boy and girl doll and they made them look like a couple. It was the cutest thing ever. So it inspired me to do that with my dolls! I had so much fun doing this and I hope you enjoy these just as much as I enjoyed taking them! 🙂
Aren’t they ADORABLE?!?! It makes me want to make more boy dolls XD
Literally, it was perfect – as I was making this post, I See The Light from Tangled was playing. That was just amazing. If you want a special effect to this post, I suggest listening to that song as you read through it ;D
Also, I’m gonna try to get a photostory up this week! Yay! XD

Experimenting With The Reflector
