Hi everyone!! 😀
Wow, it feels like every time when I’m just about ready to officially stop posting, I suddenly get a burst of inspiration and just NEED to post something! XD
Okay, so here’s the deal. I’ve been binge watching the show Heartland lately and I basically adore Ty and Amy. So much so that I just had to do a photoshoot inspired by them.
and this also might be a thing I start doing. And I’m also gonna buy a DSLR. Also why aren’t there people on Etsy who make epic doll costume replicas. #rude.
Let’s get on with the photoshoot! 😀
(yes this is Weston in a different wig. I’ve also put girl wigs on him. I love not gluing wigs down. XD )
That’s the sound of me dying of shippy feels. XD
It felt so strange getting my dolls and gear together and heading out back to take pictures. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was in my backyard… XD But it made me really happy doing this again and I just feel all inspired like I wanna TAKE ON THE WORLD!!! But really, that means I just wanna take a ton of photos. XD
I had trouble thinking of how to do poses. I don’t know if it’s cause I was using a guy and a girl or if I’m just out of practice… but I’m hoping to fix that. 😉
Anyway, how have you all been? It feels like it’s been ages since I’ve talked to you guys! I miss you. <3
What characters do you ship? Do you like Weston better with the brown or blonde hair better? Do you watch Heartland? What’s the weather like where you live?
Have a great day, guys!
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, fangirls and all, it is my great pleasure to present to you….
…..a sequel to the beloved photostory series…..
…..an all new epic series….
….following the story of Liesel and Edmund (#liesmund)….
OH ALRIGHT! XD
Fellow friends, I give you:
As the moon rises against the sun,
So does man rise against man.
In 20 year’s time,
When the young bird flees from its nest,
It will fly into a storm and be struck down.
After it has lingered in the shadows a while to sprout its wings,
It will return a strong griffin ready to attack it’s prey.
And the griffin now full of hatred and strength,
Will devour the prey of its wellspring.
For as the moon rises against the sun,
So does man rise against man.
Eight years in prison. Eight years trapped behind bars. Eight years feeding on darkness.
Seven months fearing what would come to be. When Liesel became pregnant for the second time, it didn’t take long for the prophecy to reach Frederic’s ears, even in a place so isolated as a dungeon. But he had made an ally among the prince’s men. One who was very obliging to aid Frederic in any way he could and today was the day that he would prove his loyalty. Today was the day Frederic would put his plan into action…
Looking out the window toward our palace garden, I took in a deep breath and let the air from outside fill my lungs. My life had turned out quite differently than I had expected it to. Ten years ago I never imagined that I would be a princess, married to the love of my life, and blessed with a beautiful little girl.
It was truly a miracle that my life had turned out so amazing and soon another little blessing would be added to it.
“Mommy, have you seen Daddy? I can’t find him anywhere!” My sweet daughter asked as she bounded up to me.
“I haven’t seen him all morning. Let’s see if we can find him together.”
Elsie and I stumbled upon Edmund walking toward us, his eyes fixed on the ground as though something was weighing heavy on his mind.
“Edmund, are you alright?” I asked when he didn’t even stop to look up at us.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I was lost in thought,” he said with a smile, but I knew something was bothering him.
“Daddy, can you walk with me in the garden?” Elsie asked, eyes full of hope.
“I’m sorry, not right now, sweetie,” Edmund said. It wasn’t like him to turn down time spent with his daughter. Something was definitely wrong.
Edmund must have sensed that I knew he was hiding something because he asked Elsie to leave us alone for a moment. “It won’t be for long,” he assured her.
“Go on, Elsie. I’ll walk with you later,” I said.
“Okay, Mommy,” she said right before skipping away.
“Edmund what is it?” I asked as I reached for his hand. Edmund closed his eyes and touched my belly. “It’s a dream I had last night…,” he began.
“I’m afraid to tell you about it,” he said, not even daring to look into my eyes.
“Edmund, I’ve never seen you like this. What is it?” I pressed. He was unsettling me more and more with each word he spoke.
“I dreamed something happened to our child… Someone was after it… and-” Edmund paused. “I can’t bring myself to tell you the rest. It was too real and I don’t want to frighten you unnecessarily if it turns out to be nothing more than a silly nightmare.”
“Edmund, tell me wha-” I stopped my sentence when I heard a familiar sound in the distance…
The alarm bells were ringing for all the kingdom to hear. They meant something bad or even dangerous had occurred. But what frightened me most was when Edmund spoke…
“My dream….it’s happening.”
DUN DUN DUN DUUUUNNNNN!!!! :O :O
What is happening?! :O Yes, I know that I know, but it’s still fun to say. *innocent grin* XD
I don’t know when the next part will be up cause I have VBS all week, but I will get it up just as soon as I can! 😀
I hope you enjoyed the beginning of Fate of The Unborn! 😀
Today I decided to do a photoshoot and when I noticed Julie wasn’t wearing any clothes (heh heh – #problemsofadollcollector) I decided to get her dressed and snap a few photos of her. Enjoy! 😀
Oh! And just a quick question – how many of you would like to see Tell Us Tuesday return? I’m thinking about bringing it back, but I want to make sure that people will participate, so please let me know what you think!
Have a great rest of your day! 😀
Happy New Year everyone!!
*wonders why no one replied* *realizes why their mouths are hanging open*
Oh! Right! SURPRISE!!! The Masquerade finale is HERE!! 😀
I had really wanted to post this on Christmas as a present to all of you, but the weather wasn’t good for taking pictures on the only days I had available… So I decided to make it for New Years! 😀 I spent over 5 hours just prepping the dolls, setting up, and taking pictures. O_O
Okay, okay, I know you’re all excited, but let me just say thank you all so much for your patience and for loving this series so much!! I can’t tell you how much that means to me <3
Now, without further ramblings, let the show commence! (but just in case you need a refresher, here’s the last part 😉 )
Soon after Jeremiah’s death, Edmund found Frederic and placed him deep in the dungeon where he would spend the remainder of his days. Having Frederic so nearby did make me a little uneasy, but I could hardly worry about such things for I was busy making preparations for the biggest day of my life – marrying the man I truly love.
The music began to play, cuing my entrance. Right when I saw Edmund, I felt tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. Not tears of sadness, but of joy. He looked so incredibly handsome in his suit and smiling broadly at me as he, too, was seeing me for the first time.
I didn’t once take my eyes off of Edmund – not even to look at the ring. I would have been perfectly satisfied without a ring because I was receiving the most precious gem of all – the heart of the one I love.
Edmund and I danced to a song that we both had loved when we were younger and for those few minutes, I felt as though I had traveled back in time, dancing with my beau to an enchanting song as he promised me that one day, he would marry me…
“And we walked away together as husband and wife. From that moment on, we would never be separated.”
“Yes, we have,” I agreed.
“And soon it will get even better,” Edmund said, placing his hands on my belly. I looked into his eyes as he felt our unborn child moving inside me and my heart was warmed by the pure joy and love behind his eyes.
“I love you, Edmund,” I said. He looked into my eyes tenderly and replied, “I love you, Liesel.”
As we headed back inside, I watched our beautiful little girl skipping through the garden, I felt my baby moving within me, and I felt the love my husband had for me in the gentle touch of his hand. Though my life started out with a rocky beginning, things turned out alright. And I knew without a doubt that we would all live happily ever after – till the end of our days…
P.S. This part made my mom cry! XD
I. AM. THAT. HEROOO! XD
YES, I am BACK!!!
Thank you all for your sweet comments on my last post! The wedding was so gorgeous and absolutely perfect in every way! I’m so insanely happy for them – they’re just such a beautiful couple. God matched them so perfectly! <3
I did cry at the wedding, but not as much as I thought I would. And we danced so. Much. My feet were killing me. XD
I’ll be sharing some pics soon! I’m not sure whether or not to post them here or on LMF… What do you guys think?
Okay, I think I’ve rambled enough! XD I had an urge to go outside and take pictures of Weston and then decided that he needed a girl with him, so Riven-Delle came along too.
By the way, we had a thunderstorm the other day. It rained 2 days in a row. And there are no more 90’s in the forecast. AAAAGHHH!!!
On with the photoshoot! XD
So how have you all been doing? Anything exciting going on or coming up soon? Is school overtaking your life? I’d love to know what’s going on in your life! I’ve missed you guys! <3
I’ll post again soon! *waves*
By the way – the title is my attempt at a shipping name for Weston and Riven-Delle ;D
Whoo! First off, sorry for disappearing for so long! I needed it to be shady out back to take these pictures and, well, I was getting up too late and then getting tired too early, so I kept missing the shade… XD
Okay, now on with what you’ve all been waiting for! 😀
News of Jeremiah’s death came as quite a shock to me. When I asked Edmund about it, he said he suspected it was Frederic who murdered him. Believing that Edmund didn’t have a hand in it and that in fact, he had been honest with me before, I let him out. And now here we were, looking at Jeremiah’s tombstone.
“No, not at all. I’m not like them.”
Okay guys. Finale is next. Are ya’ll excited or sad? ;D
See the last part here
POV of Liesel:
POV of Edmund:
After a long, hot journey, I came upon Uceda where the supposed new Princess Liesel lived. I couldn’t help praying that it wasn’t my Liesel.
POV of Liesel:
I hadn’t seen him in years, not since he left me. What was he doing back? I couldn’t quite understand my feelings. I wasn’t sure if I was excited to see him, or disturbed by his presence. I watched as he rode toward me, neither of us saying a word, but I knew we were about to have a long talk…
DUN DUN DUN DUUUNNN! Don’t you just love cliffhangers? LOL! I know, I hate them, too, but they’re fun to make! XD
Next part coming soon!
“This is it.” I thought as I approached the farm. It looked so much more run down than I recalled. They must have gotten along terribly after everything happened…
“Hello! Anyone home?” I called out.
The young lady swept her hair out of her face as though in deep thought. “No, I’m sorry. My late husband and I bought this place from an elderly woman, Ms. Donalds about two years ago. Never knew anyone else owned it.”
“That’s kind of you, but I should be going. Thank you for your help.”
“Mama! Mama! I caught myself a fish!” He yelled proudly.
“That’s wonderful, Charlie! We’ll have us a real feast tonight.” His mother praised. It was then I realized just how poor they were. Just a widowed mother with a child on the way, it must be hard to make end’s meet. If one fish caught with nothing more than a little net was a feast, I’d hate to know what their every day meal was like.
He beamed up at me and said thank you and I nodded.
“That was very kind of you, Mr. Richardson. I think it’s just about the greatest gift he’s ever received.” His mother thanked me with grateful tears in her eyes. “Before you go, I just remembered, there is a new princess in Uceda by the name of Liesel. She was close to poverty when the prince asked for her hand. Maybe she’s the one you’re looking for?”
As I rode away from the old farm, I couldn’t help but worry. If that was Liesel who married the prince, there was no way she was happy with him. I certainly hope she’s not married….
Next part coming soon! 😀
Okay, everyone settle down so I can begin this post! XD
I bet you’re all super happy to see this, huh? I got a splurge of inspiration today and finally figured everything out for the rest of this story! I’m SO excited to get the rest of the story posted and I hope you’re all just as excited as I am! 😀
For the previous part, click here. I just wanna make sure you’re all caught up 😉
As I walked through the streets that warm summer day, I found myself lost in deep thought. Why did I ever leave? Yes, I was terrified, but couldn’t I at least have confessed? Couldn’t I have confided in her?
“Please don’t go, Edmund.” Her pleas rang clear as a bell in my mind. “I don’t want to, but I have to.” I had said. “But why? Can’t you just tell me?” She asked of me as tears filled her striking green eyes. “I can’t. I’m sorry.” Was my vague and ridiculous reply.
“Remember me.” She requested just before she turned to leave. I’ve always remembered you. But did she still remember me? Did she even spare the slightest thought for me, even after all these years of being apart?
“Hello, Nicole.” I greeted, forcing a smile. She was my friend, but I wanted to be alone for the moment.
“Is something wrong?” She inquired.
“It was wrong of me to leave her that way. It’s high time I face her and make up for my mistakes. I thought I could beat this on my own, but I realize I need her now more than ever.” I explained, my heart heavy.
Oooh! I wonder who Edmund could be….? ;D
I hope you liked this part! We’ll get to Liesel in the next installment
Today I’m going to show you how I went about making Weston! Basically all I had to do was re-wig him and boy! was it hard!
So here are my supplies (minus the wig, of all things I forgot to bring out! XD ). I bought a Julie doll on eBay recently for about $40 – luckily she came in great condition! I had been searching and bidding on Julie dolls for a long time, but they always ended up getting too high in price. You can imagine my delight when I won her! 😀
After brushing out her hair, I grabbed my Magic Eraser and started scrubbing her skin. Magic Eraser really works wonders!
Then I grabbed the spoon and started pushing near the back of her neck. Ugh, it was so hard. In this picture it’s actually my mom doing it – my thumb was hurting from pushing so hard, so we took turns XD She helped loosen it up and then I took over. After I got most of it done, I let her do the rest cause my hand was killing me XD
Also, you can see that Julie had her ears pierced. I was worried about the holes showing at first, but I’m so relieved that the wig covers them up
Here she is without her wig! I don’t mind telling you, I felt evil as I was removing her wig. But knowing that I was gonna have an adorable new boy doll afterward really helped motivate me to keep going!
The wigs are glued on all around the edge of the head and right at the top.
Just thought you might wanna see the back of the head XD IT LOOKS SO WEIRD!! XD
And TA-DA! Here’s Weston! I didn’t end up gluing his wig on just because it fit so perfectly without it. I’m not worried about it coming off at all and it’s not like I’m gonna be a crazy person with his hair, so it should totally be fine without it 😉
I was surprised that it actually didn’t take as long as I thought it would to re-wig him. Again I’ll say, though, it was painful! My thumb was literally raw that whole day and each time it touched something it hurt. Not fun. XD But yeah, you’ve really gotta jab into the edge of the wig with the spoon and press up, trying to lift it and separate it from the head. I also forgot to mention, I put Julie’s hair in a bun so it would be easier to work with 😉
If you have any questions about something I maybe forgot to mention, I’d be happy to answer them in the comments! Don’t hesitate to ask 😉
Have you ever re-wigged a doll?
Have a great day!
